This Raos is the best one!! I know that there are two locations in Beaumont. But I ALWAYS go to the one on Calder. The workers are absolutely the best part of the place!! I was just in on Tuesday 8/20. And there was a cashier who was a whole VIBE!! She was soo kind and helpful to everyone who came in. She seemed to be training new workers and was the kindest person I have encountered in a hot minute! I hate that I can not remember her name or i would give her a huge shout out..Anyways I ate my lunch and enjoyed every second of my lunch from the amazing food, atmosphere and my frozen strawberry lemonade.

This is a wonderful little bakery and coffee shop! They have an extensive and impressive selection of drinks and baked goods. The muffins and cakes were delicious. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I was with a friend who is an avid coffee and espresso lover, and he said this was some of the best espresso he has ever had. Definitely recommend this local coffee shop.

Visited the bakery yesterday and spent $38 for 2 cookies, 2 flower icing cookies, 2 petit fours, 1 mini cheesecake and a brownie. Slow service, bakery items are overpriced and the only thing decent was the mini strawberry cheesecake. The petit fours were way too sweet, peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies were hard, brownie was dry. Won t be visiting again.

This bakery is SO lovely. A true hidden gem of texas!! The staff are wonderful and have the absolute best warm welcome. I ordered a London Fog tea for myself and two mini ham/cheese croissants for my family. everything smelled so good and looked AMAZING in the store, practically had to drag myself out to avoid buying one of every pastry in that display case. Ive never seen a tea be made so fast and taste so good! My kid really enjoyed the little fresh Croissant! If I were a local to the area, Id be here every single day! Also the decorating for spring is top notch and so cozy.

On our way back to Houston, we saw 2 of your ads talking about this King cake. Coming back from Luisiana and not having a chance to get one there, we thought this was a sign to get one . Cute little bakery with a few tables inside. There is an outdoor patio which is really cozy. We had the half sandwich, fruit and chips meal for lunch. The chicken salad was amazing, the chicken basil was flavorful. The amount of fruit was exceptional! The staff members are all super friendly and kind. Before we left, we got some cookies to go, I wish we would have purchased more to go! Cannot wait to go back! Parking lot right out front, plenty of spots.

Good a call this morning, my best friend who has moved away, called the Calder location and purchased me an individual cake and coffee. Was such a wonderful atmosphere this morning, the staff and other customers were all so friendly and welcoming it was just what I needed. She also told me that they drive from about 125 miles and get their granddaughters birthday cakes here.

My family and I visited this location last week, and everything seemed OK. However, the young man would not give me a glass of water, claiming that it was against city regulation and that I would have to buy a bottle instead. I was therefore forced to collect an empty mug and go to the restroom to get myself a glass of water after spending over $40 on cakes and coffee because I simply refused to pay for the bottle of tap water with a name on it. Never in my life have I heard of a cafe or restaurant refusing to provide a paying customer with a cup of water. In a word, they refused! SHAME! I wont visit this location again!

Wow!! We added a few minutes to our travels back home from Crystal Beach, TX to stop at this bakery coffee shop and wow! The display of desserts was beautiful and everything looked delicious. It was so hard to pick what treat to get because they had a huge selection. The staff was great. We were greeted when we came in. The lady that helped us kindly answered all my questions. We got a few different desserts and they were all so so good! We also got cold coffees and they were very tasty too. The owner happened to be there and introduced himself and even gave us some cookies for the road for our kiddos. I hope we end up in the area again so we can stop by. We stopped in while visiting family. We had been told to order our celebratory cake here. We ordered the Italian Cream Cake. It did not disappoint! So rich and creamy, and just perfectly sweet!!! We werent too sure out the coffee selections. The lovely lady working took the time to ask us about our preferences and tastes. She suggest the Carmella, based on my answers. This drink was like drinking velvety Carmel. One of the best coffees Ive ever had. This will absolutely be our go to, every time we are in town. Highly recommend.

This little jewel is right down the street from where I work. I kept wanting to stop there and so glad I did! I got a steak burrito and it delicious and fresh. Their salsa has just a hint of hot but not too overwhelming and the bakery is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommended it! Make sure you have cash though ( their card reader is down). Hopefully they fix that soon. But I am gonna grab some cash and head back after work to pick up a few things. Also they close at 9pm so that gives me plenty of time! Sorry I ate half before I remembered the pic but I couldn t wait to try it! It has fresh ingredients. You won t be disappointed! Now I m going to have to check out my pastry!

10/10 Emily was AMAZING. I asked for a frozen coffee and asked her to do whatever she wanted and she did not disappoint at all. So delicious! Peppermint gingerbread! She was also so helpful with the baked goods we were trying to pick out, very knowledgeable! Ive been to the other location closer to the mall and I actually prefer this spot. Its way more quaint, and has a hometown vibe. Still the same excellent bakery items and I usually go for coffee, and today I had the iced mocha, which was excellent. This one had a ton of Christmas decorations which definitely made it feel homie, and special Christmas pastries. Staff was super polite, and one thing to note is that this location doesnt have gelato. I will be back!

I m agreeing with the person that left a review about H E B having better desserts. Every year for Mother s Day my husband gets me a Strawberry Shortcake ( my fave ).. the past 2 years he purchased from Rao s and I really didn t like them at all, to be completely honest, they were the worst I have ever had. Didn t want to hurt my husbands feelings on the first one so I pretended to enjoy it and carried on, then, after receiving it for the second time I had to speak up. Desserts usually don t last very long in my house ( kids and grandkids coming in and out) but that cake sat in the fridge for over week, nobody wanted 2nds . Don t get me wrong, the presentation was amazing , truly beautiful to look at, just doesn t deliver on taste

I had to give it one star , so I could write a review. It should be no stars. Always see the sign on the interstate and decided to stop. I read they are known for cream puffs. The employee said cream horns were the same . One cream horn about the size of a my pinky cost $3.85. I purchased one and took a bite. It was hard. All the employee said was we made them this morning. I could have broke a tooth on that cream horn. Do not waste your time or money.

Overall not bad place at all but how dare you put TIPs as an option on credit card payment screen? You have no waiters ! Customers pay and get for product at the counter. Please explain what type of service do you perform that entitles this place to ask for TIPs? How exactly do you devide credit card tips among your employees? We stopped in for coffee, and wound up with a couple of pastries and baked goods. I had a Latte, which was quite good. They offer an array of sweet baked goods, from cookies and cakes, to savory meat filled pastries. You can get individual portions for eating there, or for take out, and party boxes and trays. In addition, there are coffee and tea related items to browse. This Raos is located in a small strip mall thats easy to access and exit, and has a beautiful brickwork facade.

About a half mile off of I-10 but well worth the detour. A little bit of bakery heaven in southeast Texas. The coffee is delicious, the sandwiches, soups and pastries are as well. And the cupcakes are divine. If your hungry and your sweet tooth is active, definitely worth the stop. Bon Appetit & Enjoy!
