Pros. Very nice public pool. Life guards are on duty. It is low cost for entry. Many seats are available. Cons. Wont allow outside food or drink. Locker rooms are dirty. Opens at 1pm. Some lifeguards are mean to the kids.

Nice swimming poo,l restrooms dirty nachos are delicious but one problem employees at concession stand real rude I ask for nachos they dont talk to you they tell me how much it is with the fingers that girl got some headphones on big headphones real disrespectful looks like they dont want to be there

The place was kinda empty which was a great thing. Although a lady told us we couldnt have goggles with the nose part and was letting other people in but we ended up getting them back but besides that it was great.

The swimming pools are very good ( Sherwood/ Woodson) Just need to charge someone to clean the bathroom/restroom regulary during the day,ost of the toilets are dirty, people don t flush it, toilet paper . ( both water parks) Every time I go in flush them ( all) because I have little ones and sometimes they go by themselves and we need to keep them clean for next person, but the water park needs too put somebody in charge to keep them clean during the openings hours.

Very nice facility well kept and a ton of fun. Sadly 2 kids stole a womans wallet and ran out before she was made aware of it by officers. On reflection, they were casing the place waiting for an opportunity. Guard your valuables or leave in car.

Great aquatic center! Loved the options for younger kids. The only downside I did not like was being unable to take my kids floaties in. They had to use the approved life vests provided, but honestly the sizing was a bit off and kept coming off my son through the lazy river.

I give it 3 stars because it looks so cool from the outside. Google says you re open today but when we showed up the sign on the door says closed on Tuesdays. Update your Google because my daughter is extremely disappointed. We ll try again tomorrow and I ll write a new review.

I wouldnt reccomend this place AT ALL. The girl working the window was rude, she wouldnt let me and my family in because i was wearing basket ball shorts. Its stupid, i wasnt there to swim, i was just taking my girls in so THEY could swim.

Only 3 cause i actualy did not to go in and enjoy Gods precious water, amen... see i work nights, and i planned it out so i can go get wet, even if family is not here. So, i show up, get the lotion on my beak , im all ready , i decide to see exactly when they open cause it looks abandoned......... yestrday was last day lol! Jack arsce! However there are alot of rules posted on the front(cringe) and it looks amazing and fun from the outside..... meh ! Ill come back next year to review lol!

We have been going to Woodson for 8-9 years and it has always been a great experience for us and the kids. The place and the pool is always clean. Seldom is it ever too crowded for the kids to be able to play and swim. Management enforces the rules so things have never been rowdy at least not while we were there. The price is right. Highly recommend.

Ive been going to Woodson for 6 years with my 2 grandchildren. I was a Red Cross certified lifeguard until age 52. I refused to take them to Midland water parks due to inattentive guards on duty and open shenanigans off duty. I found Woodson to be more professional and no nonsense. Under the new YMCA management, Ill wait and see, but todays experience was dangerous. Too many whistles, too much running, cannonballs permitted from all entries to each section, congregating in the Lazy River and altogether too much horseplay. If not improved after 3 visits, Ill cross Woodson off the list as well, with great regret.

If you do decide to go to this pool, park FAR, FAR away! As I was leaving on a windy day last summer, an umbrella flew from inside the facility and hit the top of my car. This created 2 huge dents and a lot of paint damage. The pool refused to take any responsibility. Even without this huge disappointment, the pool had lots of dabris and bugs in it and the life guards were not at all attentive.

Too many rules? Here are some more that are not posted online: Cant take a picture of your children (just because someone sued). Come on! Cant stand at the bottom of the slide to catch your child!? Stupid rules! Its a childrens water park, but got a couple of grown men (idiots) out there trying out the obstacle courses next to the little kids... NO rules about that! Its a NICE water park... but the place is run by bossy people with no common sense.

Way too many people. The crowd makes it unenjoyable. Even my kids (13 &9) felt crowded and uncomfortable with as many people was there. U cant take pictures of ur kids swimming either. No outside food or drinks. They have good activities for kids but u cant do them without being pushed or getting ran into. Just an overall bad experience.
