The Astorian was our dream wedding venue and it did not disappoint. It is truly the most beautiful venue. Not only that, but the staff was amazing to work with leading up to it and the day of. They took care of everything for us and were so attentive! They have everything down and we were so happy with everything. Their level of service and communication was amazing every single one of them!!! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and staff (& they are still raving about it)! Additionally, our point person Addie was wonderful to work with - she answered every single question I had (there were a lot) in a timely and happy manner! They truly made sure we had the best day ever. We can t recommend this venue enough!!!

If you ve seen all the pictures of the Astorian and are wondering if the venue is as beautiful in person, it is. Probably even more so. From the elegant bar to the dramatic lighting to the excellent view of the Houston skyline, the Astorian is all around gorgeous. It made the perfect backdrop for pictures for my wife and I and it definitely dazzled our guests. The Astorian staff were also very pleasant to work with, were accommodating to our requests, and gelled nicely with the rest of our vendors. The whole venue, including the bridge and groom suites, is very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of room to get ready in the suites before the event and to eat and dance the night away upstairs. The parking/valet situation may be one of the few drawbacks (and a very minor one at that) of the venue, but even then, the Astorian staff were willing to work with my wife and I to figure out an arrangement that was mutually agreeable. The venue also has an exclusive partnership for catering with Jackson & Company, and while that obviously limits options for catering, Jackson and Company was wonderful and has enough culinary variety to suit a wide array of palates. All in all, the Astorian is a magnificent venue with a great team behind it. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding here on Jan 6, 2024. It was beautiful and the perfect winter wedding venue! The staff is great! They have complementary valet and parking attendants. The curtains dont all close though so be weary of the sunset weddings there because guests and wedding party might have sun in their eyes. There is one elevator and a large pretty staircase so plan events early to allow everyone up elevator.

The musicians are incredible. They went beyond the program ( The four seasons) and played Astor Piazola! No words for that! The quality of the sound is outstanding. The venue is amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect with the lights! I do recommend that experience.

I love the candlelight experience by fever, this is the 3rd candlelight experience I ve gone to, and honestly I plan to go to more. The musicians are amazing, I give them a 10/10 the way they played made me so interested in going to listen to Coldplay albums, so I did on my way home the Fever crew is so nice, very helpful, I really appreciated how they were willing to take pictures of my date and I and they didn t make us feel like we were a bother. The location is amazing, very beautiful and gives off a romantic vibe, and the set up is great for photos. Fever, y all have out done yourselves once again, thank you for the wonderful experience

The venue itself was lovely when I attended a candlelight tribute to Coldplay. The one star is for the valet who cost me $1500 in damages and did not return my phone calls. The control arm on my car was broken and I had to replace a tire on the same side. I have a new car & it was not like that when I dropped it off. Moral of the story is don t valet your car here!! Swear they saw the M badge on my SUV and decided to ramp it over a parking barrier. Ridiculous

Very nice venue however the sound system is geared toward weddings not professional concerts. Do not expect nationally known singers or musicians. Program entirely to short - one hour- then it was time to leave. The staff more interested in moving people out for the next one hour performance. Remember the Great American Song Book consists of hundreds of songs. What we heard in song selection was sparse. In total 6-7 songs with personal renditions that did not quite fit the melodies.

Stunning venue. We went to the Fever Candlelight Jazz series tonight 11/9/22. Do get there early as it s first come first serve seating. Do bring a jacket/cost/shawl. Do abide by seating times as they are strict on this - no late seating. Take pictures before the house lights come on! And above all, follow the rules of etiquette for live music. No talking, no flash photography, no leaving your seat until between songs. Enjoy!

Interesting place, lovely atmosphere, and I loved the concert my wife and I went to. The acoustics werent great, but it was fine for what we came for. The lighting was excellent. The parking was surprisingly easy to find a spot, despite us arriving a touch late. The wine selection is ok and fairly priced. I cant speak to all the wines, but the house Pinot Grigio was just bad, maybe jump for the premium wines. My wife and I will probably come here again for another concert in the future, but based on price we definitely wont make it a regular thing.

The Astorian is hands down the most beautiful venue in Houston proper. The building, the fixtures and the acoustics were clearly very well thought out. Once you walk in, it is hard not to exclaim wow. Further, its location is great and close to many of Houstons restaurants and things to do for out of town guests. This is what made us first fall in love with the venue and feel so lucky to have our wedding there. However, the real gems are the people who work there. Deborah is extremely well organized, responsive and is happy to make your vision a reality. On a personal level, I found her very easy to get along with and straight forward. She also thought of things we did not nor did our planner. Her anticipation of our needs was priceless. Also, Daniel, the bar manager, was very accommodating and even allowed us to come in for a wine tasting a few months ahead of time. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about their program. They were both calming wedding cherubs that made the process really enjoyable. The Astorian may seem like a place where you would have a lot of stick in the mud or inflexible lines you have to color in, but that was not the case. We were really able to customize everything to our needs without any issues. Another plus - it was a cold, rainy day (thanks Houston) when we were married and having the wedding party suites inside of the venue was a life (hair and makeup) saver. Deborah and Daniel made sure they were stocked with everything we needed for the big day. I cannot express in writing how easy they made the wedding planning process and how perfect our wedding day was with their help. And yes, The Astorian can be on the high end of wedding venues but - you get what you pay for. Moreover, since the space is already so stunning (we literally had guests come up to us with their mouths agape to exclaim this to us) we were able to save money by using less decorations. The second I stepped into The Astorian, I knew it was my dream venue. I wanted my wedding to feel elegant, luxurious, and one of a kind; this venue is all of these things and more! My husband and I got married at the Astorian March 6, 2022. Many of our wedding guests said it was the most beautiful venue they d ever seen, and I couldn t agree more! The venue served as the most stunning location for photos. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, the staff was fantastic to work with as well. Dani was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and made sure I had my dream wedding. I can t recommend The Astorian enough!

STUNNING! MAGICAL! UNIQUE! ELEGANT! GORGEOUS! These are just a few words our friends and family used to describe our daughter s wedding at The Astorian. This industrial chic venue is BEAUTIFUL and has such a classy/cool 1920 s glam vibe. The view of downtown Houston at sunset is amazing and Dani/the staff was so attentive and accommodating. We this venue! HIGHLY recommend!

Ive been here in 2 different occasions and I love the place its absolutely beautiful and always really clean.... the staff is very nice bartenders always smile no matter how busy they are! Even the Valet service staff are very nice! Thank you for your great service!

We went to the Juan Gabriel Tribute and it was amazing. They had Covid precautions in place. We walked in and were directed to the third floor where our venue was. Once the doors opened we were greeted and were directed to go reserve our seats for the show. I loved this because it was first come and you get to pick where you seat in the section you purchased. We got to sit in the front row. If I go again I would purchase section A again because I like the up close experience. After we reserved our seats we went to the bar and grabbed our drinks. If you get wine it might be better to get the bottle. We walked around and took pictures. The band was great. The view of Downtown was beautiful. The venue is beautiful.

The Astorian is truly a one of a kind wedding venue, the beautiful interior & views of the Houston skyline are amazing. I may be biased but it is unlike any other wedding venue I had seen in Houston. Dani & the Astorian staff (especially the bartenders) were amazing to work with. They made sure our wedding day was absolutely stress-free, letting us enjoy our friends & family without worrying about any details. They are true professionals & took care of every single detail before anyone even had to ask. Every single one of our guests has specifically complemented the Astorian & their staff! I cannot thank them enough to making our February 4, 2022 wedding a day we will never forget!!

This place is absolutely stunning.. I came by just to take a look and appreciate the Design of the space. I wont be renting due to price being completely out of my range, but the interior is breathtaking. The staff I spoke with were pleasant and professional.
