You are so loud I now know your favorite breakfast places, the roads you drive on, and whos who!! I went outside to eat because you were so loud for so long. Got to Dallas, and immediately wanted some BBQ! Riscky s was recommended, so I stopped in to give them a try. I had the chopped brisket and hot link sausages. The chopped brisket was really good, it s flavorful and tangy. The smoked sausage in and of itself is good, I would have preferred it to be more BBQ d (a bit more char/bbq flavor) it doesn t taste or look like it s actually been on the grill (more like cooked in a skillet on the stove). The sides: I had Mac and cheese and French fries. The Mac and cheese is as basic as can be, no seasoning, no flavor, just basic noodles and cheese sauce (made on the stove in a pot), I doctored mine up as much as I could with pepper and barbecue sauce. The fries were good though. Finally, the service here is phenomenal! The servers are super friendly, attentive, and just have great, bubbly personalities! The restaurant definitely has a souther bbq feel to it, but I would prefer a bit more bbq flavor in the dish that I had. Not a bad option, but there may be better ones (you won t be mad that you came here, but you may leave feeling that there s more somewhere else).

I have been coming here for years, but a couple months ago I noticed the portions of food had greatly decreased. I asked the lady that brought my order to the table the last time I was there why the fries were about 1/3 of what I used to get. She replied and said we have a new manager and he said we were giving to much food away here. She said we now weight the fries and everything else now. I said who does that?, she had no answer at all. Guess what nobody does that except for Riskys BBQ. Could you imagine going to Mcdonalds and see them weight your fries? I think what the problem is that the new manager is trying to get noticed by the upper management for showing a better profit margin while the customer suffers and gets pissed off!!!, Shame on you, I will not return!!

This location is the worst location in history. They cant ever keep employees because if u call out one time ur fired, u arent allowed to be sick because ull need a doctors note for one day that u do call out, u arent allowed to be late EVER. Management is the absolute worst. Trying to get someone a trespassing charge when u asked them to leave and they did just that but, getting them from not buying food from there u cant do. Please if the world sees this tell ur kids to stay away from this job as employment. Dont go eat there u might get a trespassing charge.

Absolutely worst bbq, I ve ever had. Brisket was overly salty and no smoke flavor, burger was previously frozen, cold bun, no flavor, potato salad disgusting, Mac n cheese looked like Kraft, jalapeño & cheddar sausage was just warmed up in skillet, and bbq sauce was watered down. I wish I would have eaten instead because I would returned everything and asked for my money back. $50 wasted as I threw everything away.

You can tell things are not made fresh. Cook was in and out of the freezer, mac was not good.. I could go on and on, but nothing of ours was very good. Staff is nice, environment is clean, but I just want to say if you guys begin to make some things fresh again, I think business would pick up for you and people would have a better experience. Let me tell you, I have been coming to this location for over 40 years. And the chopped beef sandwiches are still the same everytime. I love this place. Even though I dont live close anymore, whenever I am near I swing by and grab a bag or 2(or 3, like I did today!) of the sandwiches. Today I brought my mother in law with me and she used to own a bbq restaurant, so she knows bbq. And she was impressed too. So go grab a bag and tell them Fred sent you!

Don t try the fried okra unless u like it raw. Mac and cheese is bland. Terrible brisket slices. More like brisket corners. The Texas fries are sub par yet the best thing I got. They are fries deep fried with onions and jalapeno peppers. Not thinking of going back. The jalapeno sausage was boiled just to give u a clue to the taste. Service was great tho.

Just stopped by the drive thru to get a brisket sandwich and was quoted 12.99 for a sandwich, no drink, no side just a sandwich. When I got up to pay, the cashier even questioned the price. A promising beginning. Place looks clean and the prices arent bad at a glance. The problems came with the the food itself. The portions are fairly small for anything that isnt a plate or the meats. Beyond that, everything minus the brisket bites were bland and even those had a hair in them. And, on top of the hair in it, the brisket bites took almost 10 minutes longer than all the rest of the food! Unacceptable. At least they gave us a refund. Will not be returning.

I have been a customer of riskys since the early 1980s. Today I was treated like trash my order was taken by the old man at the window . I then waited a very long time. Then a young lady comes to the window and asks what did I order. Come to find out he Never turned in my order. So had to wait again. I can honestly say this was a place we would go to eat ribs.... the past 4 times I went the food was cold, ribs were all fat and no meat (could atleast try to cut some fat off) It was much better when the other 2 older ladies were there (they had great customer service). Now, they new how to take care of their customers. The cooks you have just dont have the need or the want to cook the food correct. I went again today customer service was not good. (Very dissapointing) There was an older man at the counter and just had a not so good attitude. Just an idea... but you should hire cooks that care about cooking good food. I ordered the beef ribs with fries and served me almost next to nothing on the fries. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!! When you hire new cooks post it and maybe some of the customers you lost will return... this place sucks. From now on I will be going to Riskys on Camp Bowie. Riscky s Bar B Q on 26 in NRH. Ya ll I am so disappointed with Riscky s on 26. It used to be my go to place for beef ribs. My family and I used to joke that they were Brontosaurus ribs and would have them once or twice a month. During the holidays, I would cater in pans of ribs for my entire office they were so good, I wanted to share the joy. Unfortunately, the last few times I ve done take out, the ribs have been burnt & leathery. The take out boxes were so well wrapped in cellophane, it was too much trouble to check while sitting in the drive thru and once I got home, it was too much trouble to go back. Tonight, we attempted to dine in for better results. No such luck, the ribs were dry, leathery and lacking flavor. I brought it to the managers attention. He was very nice and apologized. He tried to make it right. However, all the ribs that they had on hand were cooked in the same batch and in the same state. All the other ribs were raw and frozen solid. The manger offered us the remaining burnt ribs at no charge. This would have been great had they been edible. Suffice to say, Riscky s has lost my business. Need ya lls recommendations for good beef ribs in the area?????

I normally go to the Risckys on Azle Ave , but since i live closer to the one in NRH I go there , but everytime I go which has been a few times , the ribs I get thru the drive thru has more bone than meat , and I go to return them but all they do is switch them around and put 2 that have a little more meat on top , Ive been very disappointed with only this location everytime I go , hope something changes soon

For starters, there were flies EVERYWHERE, I had to keep shooing them away to eat my dinner. Several of the tables were dirty, the two girls at the counter were too busy chatting away to wipe any of them down. Speaking of potential health violations, the dark haired girl with glasses and tattoos was eating food at the counter while she was assembling peoples food orders!!! Not bad. Great customer service. (Friendly staff) Food was solidly good for the price. The wait was a bit long, although we did come during peak dinner time on the weekend. Portion size was a tad small, though it was still a decent value. Pretty good, overall. Would definitely visit again albeit perhaps during a less busy time.

Ordered a half pound of moist end brisket (heard them explain in the back to a new employee what this was after he had cut it, but that it was fine this time, I assume because it was to go.) Even for lean end, which they gave me, this is very dry. Also, weighs in at .36lbs at home, but I paid for a full half-pound.

Tried the all you can eat beef ribs which comes with one side. The got the fries as my side which as really good. The service is always friendly and food is great. This location has been here for as long as I can remember. The manager Hannah was actively engaging with customers and making sure everyone was receiving great service. I was very impressed and highly recommend Riscky s BBQ.

Ive been wanting to try this place out for the longest time, and when I finally did, I was impressed! The ribs and brisket were tender, and the bologna sandwich was good. I definitely knew I would be back. So I did, the following evening after work and oh goodness... What a difference a day make. My wife told me the ribs from the first evening were good but boiled. Boiled meat is blasphemy in the BBQ world, but I figure I would try them again anyway because I really enjoyed the ribs the first time. On the second visit, I went inside to order. The ladies at the counter, awesome. Nice. Genuine. The food those cooks made was HORRIBLE. A good amount of the bologna meat in the sandwiches was burned and not edible. No way the person who cooked that bologna would eat it yet they served that garbage to me. The pork ribs on my second trip were these small little disgusting pieces of dry meat. Im thinking, I waited 10-15 minutes for this?!?! I also picked up some beef ribs I have not yet tried, and I wonder if lll need to MacGyver those when I heat them up. If i eat them. Needless to say, I wont be back there. Im not sure what happened between my drive-through experience and walk-in to take out experience, but the food they gave me with the latter DEFINITELY let me know they have cooks that dont care about the food which is a major red flag for me. Thats too bad because I really appreciated listening to how well the ladies treated their customers. They got the hard part. They are the face of the business and are doing what they need to do. Those cooks need to up their game. Oh well... Next!

First time ordering here and did it through doordash. Got the sliced brisket plate with fries, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad. Brisket was very good, flavorful and fell apart. A good portion as well, however the was no bbq sauce given, don t know if I have to order it or if it was just forgotten, would have been nice to try it though. Fries were good, Macaroni and cheese was basically like Stoffers frozen Mac, wasn t bad, wasn t great either, was very creamy though. The potato salad was incredibly tangy, I liked it, but someone a little more sensitive to lots of flavor might not. Ordered a cherry coke and got that, tasted fine, also saw that they sell loafs of bread, I was out at home so figured I d grab one. Ordered white sandwich bread, but received Texas toast instead, not really sure what I m going to do with it. Overall pretty good experience, I liked most of what I got and will probably reorder in the future especially considering how affordable they are compared to other bbq spots.

It was a great value 4 sandwiches for $5. Which is what I ordered. It was better than some BBQ places but not as good as others. BBQ sauce was thin. The meat was a good marbled mixture. I also got a half pound of hot links and I was disappointed in them. They had little flavor and instead tastes like cheap hot dogs. I love a good hot link and this one had no spice or at least very little. The dog liked it and shes pretty picky but I disagreed. Good deal for a cheap lunch but if youre craving really good BBQ I doubt I would recommend. However... It was fast, cheap and the sandwiches were pretty good.

3rd time for this Riskys. Every time food has been fresh and amazing. Had the all you can eat beef ribs last night and they were tasty and quality was as expected! Didn t make it past the first round but well worth it. Grandsons (3 & 4) scarfed down their sausage, fries, n Mac n cheese. The bag of 4 brisket sandwiches for $5 did not make it through the night. Teenagers in the house. Next time we are buying 2 bags and hiding one. Have loved the Riskys in Sundance Square and the Stockyards (BBQ & Steakhouse) for decades. So glad to find this BBQ joint closer to home. Kid-friendliness: Relaxed family style atmosphere with fun western decor. Loved showing my grandsons the old iconic western themed toys from years gone by. They love the food and the kids meals are very well priced with plenty of food (drink included-no $3 surprise here for a small soda).

I was so excited to go to the 95th anniversary today figured we wouldnt go to the Stock yards cause it would be packed but boy was that a mistake the chopped beef looked like dog food! And cold! The fries tasted like something from Long John Silvers the fish taste! I didnt even eat my sandwich the texture was terrible! I was super sad we drove from Burleson to eat here

Went to their .95 anniversary celebration. What a joke! I ordered the chop beef sandwich and it was cold and clearly the Lloyds frozen barbecue from your local grocery store and it was put on very thin and didnt even cover the bun. WOW! Wheres the beef? The fries taste like they cooked in same grease as fish. Yuk! I would be ashamed to serve customers what we just got served. I will not ever visit Riskys again. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else.

Had and order door dashed food was horrible I got a chop beef meat was dry like it been sitting out literally the meat was crunchy and the bread was hard on top of that they forgot the beans on both my orders and forgot the drink Ill never eat here or definitely never have it door dashed they dont Care enough to to a quality check very dissatisfied with the food and the fact they basically forgot half my order
