Fun place for karaoke but more for the older crowd. The minus one star is because the manager (older man with a music shirt) was so rude to my friend and the waitress and it totally killed the vibe I bet a change in management would benefit a place like this! Has potential for sure!

This is a fun little club run by probably the biggest promoter of the downtown area there is. There is beer wine and soda available and sometimes tapas. The Saturday that we went, the kitchen was closed because the cook was ill. Even so they let us order outside food in. Saturday is comedy night and on this Saturday there were 4 local acts performing. Three of the four were great but the headliner was not right for the local crowd. He probably kills in Austin or San Francisco but too extreme for central Texas. Great staff and venue for a laid back evening though.

First time here so dont let the 3 star kill you. Loved the IPA drink I had for the wine atmosphere I felt. I saw the cigar selection and didnt have one so Ill long story short this and say, without a doubt my wife and I will be back!!! Corkys 5 stars next time Im certain, here we come

Would give zero stars if I could. Went here for our best friends night before for her wedding and our group of 15 got cut off after one beer and thrown out. We were respectful but our only annoyance was being a larger group. Not the right place if you re looking for any sort of fun. 60+ crowd seems to be their best audience.

My wife and I came here for a Comedy Show and it was an awesome time. I really wish they were open an hour later but it was still a great time. Nice layout downstairs for the bar area. The upstairs is awesome! Guitar Hero on PS2, awesome dart boards, connect four and many more other games. Gotta check this place out!

Ive been twice now both times Ive purchased tickets on their balcony. This second time my party of was asked to leave due to overcrowding. There was another party of 6 wrecklessky dancing on furniture and spilling drinks. We went down stairs and when I asked where we should go I was told then to go back upstairs. If you cant manage a second floor there should not be one. Its a shame because the shows are great and the food is good but there is no excuse for poor quality staff. It felt like my party was targeted to leave because we were the quite group and it was easier to ask the 4 of us to leave the top floor then to deal with 6 drunk woman acting like fools.

This is definitely the place to be to have a really good time and celebrate. I am a female impersonator and a celebrity designer that was booked to perform at a show hosted by Lacey Luxxx. The staff showed us nothing but kindness as soon as we got to the venue. The audience and the staff were extremely supportive. The drink were absolutely amazing and the food was to die for. Not only did I personally meet the bar owner and his lovely wife but I also met his staff and the DJ that night who showed us nothing but kindness and acceptance and made us feel very welcome. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a genuine and authentic positive experience. I cannot wait to go back and perform for them again.

Quaint and lively little bar that has established itself as a popular tour spot as of late, this places true charm is revealed during their many night events ranging from Drag Shows to Standup Comedy Nights. Beer choices are pretty decent, but the wine is top notch (Id highly recommend the flight) with a great mix of local flavors to choose from. Pro tip: As of writing this, food choices are exclusively what I could comfortably call finger food. The food is delicious and fresh, but servings are meant to be more tapas than anything else. That being said, dont come here hungry. This isnt necessarily a bad thing, but warrants a warning. In my opinion, the absolute best way to experience Corkys is to go enjoy a meal at one of the many beautiful restaurants in the downtown Temple area, and finish off your night with a nice wine or craft beer in this excellent little bar already filling in a desperately needed niche within the growing Temple community. Side note: You can find their hosted events on their Facebook, official webpage, or Temples own event page. Some of which it would behoove you to purchase tickets for ahead of time.

The bar is pretty cool, lots of games to play upstairs and the wait staff is very nice and attentive... My only complaint is the speaker/audio system for the comedy show we went to. Honestly struggled to understand what the comic was saying cause it was so loud and the sound just bounced off the brick walls. Will definitely go back but just to enjoy the bar.

Little Woman and I came out for Saturday Comedy night and it was a blast. We would like to thank Dan and Gloria for bringing this spot to our town. It s a pretty well organized event and the comedians were all petty good for the most part. I recommend buying tickets in advance as these shows are pretty packed.

Owner and staff are amazing, great vibes, great selection of drinks, and great comedy show! There is room for improvement as far as food options and food pricing... Would love to see sports-bar type food (i.e. chicken tenders and fries for $8, rather than three slices of quesadilla for $8); granted, they are a start-up, so hopefully the changes will come when revenue increases.

The wife and I were looking for somewhere to go out downtown Temple and saw this place wed never heard of so we thought wed give it a shot. It was a karaoke night and there was good energy in the place. My wife sang a few songs and had a great time. The bartenders, owners, and other patrons were all very friendly. Definitely give the place a try if you want a more laid back environment from the other bars in the area!

3/20/21 Our experience was awesome! Their wine selection and beer is by local breweries. Tickets are limited due to amount of space so make sure to get tickets asap. Service is great and take care of their customers. Owners of the place are very nice and friendly. They offer more than just comedy shows, also Wine tours that we will be trying out soon. A great way to enjoy a night out on the town of Temple!!
