Ive been visiting this location for years, and it has consistently gone DOWN HILL every year. Now they are little more than a neighborhood bar where drunks slobber all over each other while drinking. I tried to call in an order for pickup (because the dining area is always nasty), but no one ever answered the phone. The online ordering doesnt work for this store either. So I drove to the store to place my order. I notified the manager that their phone just rang and rang with no answer. The manager said, Yeah, the ringer is turned off. Unbelievable. At one time, New Braunfels didnt have a surplus of restaurants, so they could get away with poor service. Now, there are plenty of other places that want your business... and clean their restaurant.

Was kind of taken back the minute walked in. Place was very dim and hard to see. Restaurant was only half full and still a 15 minute wait. Again, hard to read menus because lighting was SO poor. Food was ok, but not great. Waitress was very nice, but seemed a little annoyed at first, she got better as time passed. My girlfriend and I agreed half way through the meal that we would NOT be returning to this restaurant. It wasnt a horrible experience, it just wasnt even adequate

The food here was absolutely horrendous. Our entire table got sick and very nauseous. For starters it took forever to get our food and drinks. Then they were just horrible. One of the steaks we got tasted rancid. I can t explain the taste it was just like old meat it was horrible. The other steaks were edible but barely. I am not usually the type to talk to a manger but I wanted to express how horrible the food was. Our waiter was fine he didn t do anything bad the main issue we had was with the food. The manger came out and took steaks off of our bill but didn t seem to care. Overall I wouldn t recommend this place to our worst enemy it was that bad. 1/10 I wouldn t eat here again.

Our server, Avery, was top-notch. She was attentive and friendly in a way that made us feel like we already knew each other...no fake about her. The food wasnt bad. The the beer cheese (for the pub pretzels) was thinner than it used to be. The steamed broccoli wasnt (steamed), but it tasted good. It seemed like my daughters garlic bread stick was deep-fried, but the pasta was good. Averys pleasant personality and attention to detail made up for where the food was lacking. I will say I think they were short on servers (or maybe cooks?) tonight, so that may have affected the food quality. Overall, we enjoyed our visit!

I really dont know why I kept giving this place a chanc4. Every time we order, wr are disappointed. The appetizer was great but our entrees were horrible. I wanted to have a nice veterans day dinner with my family. My first one as a recently separated veteran. We were also going to get the nice molten cake for my kids. It was supposed to be a thank you for our service, but a couple walked out because of BAD service. And to the dude that told me veterans day food is not buy one get one, even though I was gonna pay for the other meal. You dont deserve to wear shirts honoring the military, brother you shouldnt have shown up to work at all! I was going to ask for the manager and cause a scene but my wife really wanted get the F out of there ASAP. I know it was a long day, but Ive had longer. Do better yall. my wife had lockjaw after this. Thanks

Good friendly service in a safe atmosphere. Very good food. We tried the Cajun blackened salmon with garlicky mashed potatoes and delicious broccoli, and a steak also with garlic mashed potatoes and corn. Service was excellent. Very prompt and providing all of the extras to go with the meal. We enjoyed everything about the visit and we will definitely be back soon. We really appreciate the offer for veterans on veterans day. Looking forward to going back soon.

Had the fettuccini alfredo with grilled chicken, very disappointing, broccoli not cooked & I dont think they even washed it, made the meal taste gross. The half a rack of ribs were dried out and tasted old and I mean, very old!! The only thing that was good was the waitress / Slater, who repeatedly apologized and did the best she could to make it right. The manager never came out like they said they would, but if I was them serving food like that I wouldnt have showed face either. They definitely didnt care. Its a shame, my son and I use to eat there all the time, never had a problem before. What changed? Change it back. Itll be a long time before we go back. Anyone going, beware.....

Steak or Leather?: Ordered 8 oz Sirloin cooked medium. Got a well cooked 4 oz piece of leather (I actually weighed it). It was absolutely terrible...like trying to eat a football (I imagine).
