Lovely quaint Cafe on the square. Staff was friendly and helpful. The menu offers enough diversity to satisfy a variety of patrons. I ordered a bagel and added an egg and an order of bacon. They were accommodating to my requests. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! Would recommend and plan to visit again soon!

Im from Wimberley, Texas but my neighbor was having some work done on her Jeep which was suppose to be ready by noon but wasnt. No surprise there. Anyway, we decided to get coffee to kill time in downtown New Braunfels but couldnt find a anything that was easy. So we stopped in New Braunfels Coffee. The people were really friendly and didnt seem to mind that we were there late in the afternoon. The place has a relaxing atmosphere about it and felt very cozy. My family moved to New Braunfels in 1961 when this place was drug store. Parking: The place is on the city plaza and there are several businesses there. Luckily, we found a spot across the street

The coffee beans are good, but if you enjoy classic americanos with a ratio of at least 4:1, their ratio is 16:1, so it s pretty watered down. It looked and tasted more like coffee flavored water. Good customer service, as they added 1 additional shot for me. Pretty atmosphere.

Such a great place to grab some treats in between activities! We used to live in TX and Id come here occasionally to study, but it seems in the past few years that they have renovated, and the vibe is FANTASTIC. Currently sitting here sipping on a lavender latte and playing tic tac toe before we go to dinner. Great music, great coffee, comfy seating, great atmosphere with Bossa Nova music, surrounded by New Braunfels history. Cant ask for much more!

My cinnamon roll was very tasty. The iced mocha latte wasnt anything to write home about, however. It was acceptable, but as its a specialty coffee shop, I expected better coffee. The place was very busy, and occasionally, they had turned on what I believe to be the grinder. Between the people and the grinder, it was excessively loud to the point where you couldnt even hear the person next to you. If it hadnt been 98° outside, Id have preferred to be outside at one of the little tables.

Came here for breakfast before going to the farmers market. It was busy. We ordered two omlettes, waffles, and two breakfast sandwiches, three pastries, and three coffees for our party of four. Our coffees weren t called out and had to go up to the counter and hope we picked up our order and not someone else s because multiple orders were waiting on the counter and no names were on the cups. We waited a half hour from paying to get our pastries and we only got them because they tried to give us to-go pastries for someone else s order. The waitress then tried to take our number away but told her we had food we were still waiting on after an hour. She went to go look for it, the food then came out hot - but one of the omelettes was made wrong and the waitress tried arguing/justifying the wrong order. They offered to re-make it and said no. Waiting an hour for food at a coffee shop where we watched people before and after us come and go. We could have gone to the restaurant next door and had a wider range of menu and had waited that long for food or shorter. Highly disappointed for the third time we ve been here.

I truly love what the new owners have done with NB Coffee. I didn t used to be a big fan of the business until they took it over. The decor is so clean and sharp looking and the staff is very kind, especially the gentleman who typically delivers food to your table, and the food is tasty. My only disappointments are that the food is a little pricey and my biggest turnoff is the lack of ventilation. I d say about 90% of the time I ve come in for breakfast there s a heavy haze in the air and the whole place smells of burnt oil/grease. On my last visit it even caused my eyes to burn a bit. For their sake, I really hope they get the ventilation issue fixed. I d hate for other people to be turned away by it and for their hard renovation work to be ruined by grease and smoke.

A little warm in there for the Texas heat....we paid almost $17 for one large and one small coffee and two cookies.......my decaf was mostly foam...though all i did was order a regular decaf coffee nothing fancy so not sure why the foam....but for a small coffee with mostly foam I got about 1/2 the coffee.......... But we had already left so couldnt go back...... Very disappointed......we live in Seguin and was heading home.

This cafe is so cute! I love the atmosphere and view of the plaza! The pastries are delicious and they even warm them up for you. The coffee is ok, not the best but not the worst. Went early, before the normal hustle & bustle. Breakfast sandwich was great but not memorable. Exactly what you want when breakfast is more about the coffee . Coffee (black) was good enough to drink even cool (an important litmus test). Id love to give five stars on the atmosphere, it deserves it. BUT as we sat outside enjoying the quaint New Braunfels City center we were assaulted (not really) by a leaf blower, street sweeper, increasingly aggressive drivers navigating the oval at ridiculous speeds and an unwelcome seasoning (dust) from same. Yeah, we couldve sat inside...but darn it, the cafe front looked so inviting. Ugh. PS the peeps serving us were terrific.

First time for breakfast here during Wurstfest. Early morning, no crowd. Easy to order, nice selection. Spouse ordered an omelet, I had eggs with ham. My order was warm at best, no cold! Really great atmosphere, by the roundabout of downtown New Braunfels, surrounded by interesting architecture and a very European vibe. The service was really great. The owner was a fellow Indian who chatted with us for quite a while and her passion for this store was evident in her conversation. The lattes were good, but nothing extraordinary. They go out of their way to use the cheapest possible ingredients and sell them for a premium. $10 gets you 2 slices of wonderbread toast, 2 slices of oscar mayers ham, sprinkle of shredded cheese and a fried egg. Service was good, space is quaint. Love the tile. However the portions are ridiculous and wait time is too long. We waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and a belgian waffle when there wasn t an order in front of us. The sandwich came with 2 or 3 skinny slices of sysco bacon, an over cooked egg and a thin sliver of wilted tomato. Oh, and it was $10 and lacking in flavor. Spent a total of $40 on two drinks, a smoothie, a tiny waffle and the sandwich WITHOUT including the tip. I understand being in a prime downtown location is expensive but how can you charge these prices when your whole business is lackluster? If youre looking for a relaxing, morning coffee or breakfast/brunch spot then look no further. This quaint little cafe was such a breath of fresh air and my white mocha latte was delicious. Plenty of free parking along the street outside and their sign is easy to spot as you drive up. There are 2 entrances and tons of shaded seating outside if you want to bring your pups. The barista welcomes you when you come in and the interior design inside is so homey. Dark blues, whites, tans, browns and earthy colors. Tons of succulents and plants everywhere. It looks both modern and cottage-esque. The smell of coffee is so inviting and the morning sunshine was lighting the space through the windows. Their menu is clear and concise. Very easy to navigate. The breakfast croissant with bacon and egg was delicious. They had plenty of baked goods made in-house to pair with your drink of choice. They had smoothies and non-caffeinated beverages available hot or cold. Prices were very reasonable. It was just so relaxing. They supported other small businesses as well since there was hand-made candles and soaps as well as jewelry for sale. Come and grab your coffee here. A simple order seemed to overwhelm the staff. We stepped in for a toasted bagel and a tea. We waited 10 mins before we went to the counter to inquire. The answer was, Its warming. A few mins later, we got a semi-warm, not toasted bagel. We took it back and asked for it toasted. When we got it, it still was not toasted. Given that most of the reviews are good, Im going to chaulk this up to the staff not paying attention. To top it off, all the empty tables were not bussed.

Cute little place! The milk in my coffee didn t seem right, but when I brought it to their attention, they immediately made me a new latte. The second round was much better, I enjoyed it. The gluten free chocolate macarons were very delicious, not too sweet and a good consistency. Ordered 3 different cookies, Reese s Pieces peanut butter, orange butter cookie with chocolate, and a matcha cookie with white chocolate. The peanut butter cookie was a little too crunchy for my taste, but the other two were soft and wonderful to eat. Highly recommend the matcha cookie, it was my favorite!!

We walked in and the server behind the counter did not welcome us to the store, walked past us 3 times without recognizing that we were even standing at the counter If you are not happy with a customer service position you should not be in customer service. Thos man had no personality whatsoever It is a shame, the store had nice appeal but attitude is everything

Had the blueberry waffles served on a paper plate no syrup no butter no whip cream when I asked for the extras they said it didn t come with butter or whip cream a little false advertising and the plate was 12.00 for a dry waffle with a couple blueberry s lived here for 10 years I will not be returning. To this coffee shop

They forgot to make my daughters breakfast. We asked if they forgot and they said no, but after another 15 minutes realized they did forget. When they realized they forgot I also told them my omlette was undercooked, they didnt seem to care when I told them. They offered no apology at all. Very disappointed after reading such good reviews. Hubby enjoyed his kolache.

Honestly amazing Adult Grilled Cheese Sandwich. I asked for Sourdough and they delivered, but sadly they forgot the Tomato on the sandwich. I m not mad, though. It was an AMAZING Sandwich!!! I m definitely coming back.

Wife and I were both really looking forward to grabbing our lunch to go here. Ordered the club sandwich and the chicken siracha sandwich. Almost $10 a piece. The club sandwich had one thin slice each of cheap deli turkey and ham and one tiny piece of bacon on 2 whole slices of plain store wheat bread. The sandwich was so small I ate it in 3 bites. My wifes chicken sandwich had a small piece of chicken that filled less than 50% of her bread slices. She ended up throwing away almost half the bread from her sandwich because there was no chicken on it. Really disappointed. Tasted good, but I would never pay $20 again for $4 worth of actual food. Maybe the complimentary 50 cent bags of plain Lays chips were supposed to fill us up?
