Best neighbor grill and bar in Irving. The staff is great and there are a lot of welcoming regulars. I moved to Dallas a few years ago, and still visit regularly for the catfish, wings and Long Island iced teas. Highly recommended for Saturday afternoons during the college football season.

Maacs bar and grill really surprised by the excellent service provided by the staff, especially Christiana. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was enjoyable. The ambience of the bar was average, nothing too extraordinary but still comfortable enough for a casual night out. While the decor might not be the highlight, the friendly atmosphere created by the staff and other patrons made up for it. When it comes to the food, I have to say it was just okay. The menu had a decent variety, but the flavors and presentation didnt leave a lasting impression. However, if youre looking for simple bar bites or snacks to accompany your drinks, they do the job well enough. Overall, what sets this small bar apart is the exceptional service they provide. The staffs attentiveness and genuine friendliness elevate the overall experience despite the average ambience and okay food. I found this bar after googling best wings and drinks in Irving and the wings and drinks are just that some of the best in Irving. However the only male bartender/waiter is by far the RUDEST person I ve ever encountered. I mistakenly introduced several friends to this bar and they encountered him as well and stated the will not be back because of him. Overall this local bar is a hit but spending your money to be treated like you re not welcomed or appreciated is not good for local businesses

I started going here few years ago it was great my number on spot to grab a burger or catfish it has recently started declining on the food my purchase I made to day the burger wasn t even done all the way on my chicken strip order looked like they just dumped left over fries from another order in there and I was trying to order an alcoholic beverage for my wait and got a freakin flavored lemonade instead really use to like this place even not being fully considered a regular but I see why there is so much issue and other reviews if you not the friend of someone there

10/14 tonight 1030 I usually get Zetta which Is amazing. I sat at the bar a good 15 minutes, bartender she was to busy laughing and yelling with the guys at the end ,I wanted dinner and drinks, she never took my order at all. Im not sure whats happened to this place within the past 6 months to a year but it seems like its going downhill. Last night we went in thinking they still had their half off boneless wings (they used to do 50 cent wings on Sundays and Mondays) but they no longer have that special. When I asked the waitress for that she was so unenthusiastic about it. It seems like her and the cook where the only ones there. It also seemed like she was way more excited to serve her regulars than anyone who just walked in. Mind you, we are not regulars but this isnt our first time there and she just so happened to serve us a couple of weeks ago. She just seemed like she didnt want to be there and wasnt excited to serve us. Upon walking in, I noticed a lot of tables were dirty, not with dishes but just like they hadnt been wiped down and crumbs were left so it was hard for us to find a comfortable place to sit. The wings were good but the garlic parmesan couldve used more flavor/sauce. All in all it was a blah experience. I was so excited to get the boneless wing deal and it was a huge let down (I know inflation probably has something to do with this but it was the way she went about it). Not only that but service was subpar. I can understand that it is probably frustrating for one bartender to run the whole restaurant and patio but at least seem like you want to be at work. Unfortunately, this place has lost our business and for what its worth, well be ordering from another wing place from now on. Im giving 4 stars because I know this place has potential and my intention for this review was not to drag them down but to make the manager and others aware of their situation from a customers point of view. I get that it is a bar/dive but cleanliness and more/friendlier staff goes a long way. I hope that you all consider hiring more staff!

Small little non exciting bar/grill. Went with friends and left after a short time. There is a regular customer woman named Jill Marie who we witnessed belittling other customers loudly. She was mean and name called. Told some they were annoying and stupid for just being polite. Apparently she is there daily with her computer outside on patio. This is one of the best dives in Dallas! It s super low key and hella affordable. Krystiana (I know I m spelling this correctly) was our server on a Saturday afternoon. She was literally the only employee out front besides the cooks. She was handling the bar and providing exceptional table service to our very large party of 16. There were also other customers in the building that she was attended too. She was amazing! Now for the food, my appetizer was queso with taco meat, it was very good and came out fast. For my entree I had the Philly cheesesteak meal with Cajun fries. Superb! Good drinks! Definitely recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Maacs grill holds a special place in my heart. I have been visiting maacs since 2015 & has, is my all time favorite restaurant. Maacs Grill is a community sports bar with friendly faces & great atmosphere. These people starting from the owner (Mr. Masood) & staff (Kailey was amazing in her job) here are super friendly & treat you like friends & family. Just like any other spots bar, it gets crowded on Friday nights but never too loud. On Saturdays they have karaoke nights which are cool and fun to be & see amazing local talent. Food is really good. Try Cajun wings they are super tasty. During my visits since 2015, I have tried their Buffalo chicken wings, fries, sample platters , sandwiches/burgers & also cheese cake. Everything was just amazing!! I have received free stuff as well on various occasions, we order for one and they get us two.( recently went there to get some traditional bone in wings, but Kailey, the one taking care of us mentioned they ran out of bone in & offered us boneless wings but when she got our food, she got us 10 huge chicken joints). Quality & quantity is standard. No complaints at all. Always get bone in wings. Boneless wings sometimes are smaller and seem like nuggets. They have an elaborate menu & are very reasonably priced. They have a non smoking area which is indoors & a smoking patio area, obviously outside. They have happy hours as well.

I would have given them 5 stars. The food was great and so was the service. However the experience was killed by a lie. I came specifically for wings and beers. I was told they were out of bone in wings so was the table next to me. The table next to me ordered boneless wings and I had a Buffalo chick wrap. 10 minutes after placing my order a guy comes in and orders traditional bone in wings and guess what me and the table next to me watched him eat his bone in wings. Out of bone in wings? How does this happen. Well I finished my beer paid my bill and left. When you lie to me and treat me differently than anyone else you loose my business forever. Do you really think that goes unnoticed???

Normally loved the food here. But recently ordered the catfish and it was disgusting! It tasted like pre made frozen fillets and had this horrible old fishy taste to it and it seemed as if instead of giving you two fillets like you ordered they just cut one piece of fish in half which is a ripoff. I don t come in here often enough! It s obvious the entire staff really cares about the customers. Every food item I ve had has been excellent! All of the bartenders are great about offering water when it s appropriate without being overbearing about it. The drinks age great and a great value! My thanks to everyone who works here!

I ve been living across the street from this place for at least a year...today I decided to go in with a friend we walked in and seated ourselves, which was no problem so when the waitress came over to take our order she asked what would you guys like to drink I then responded asking if she could clean the table that had food left on it she then said ok and walked away. My friend and I sat and waited this lady never came back (15-20 min), I watched her serve several other patrons drinks, restock a fridge and even took more orders but never came back to clean the table or take our order! This is absurd and bad for business so my friend and I decided to leave however not without me speaking to her (addressed herself as the manager) and letting her know I ve heard good things about the place but due to her response and lack of urgency to address all paying customers I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!!

Great no frills bar with friendly staff and good wings (50 cents per on Mondays, order in multiples of 5). And this is a TRUE sports bar - they have the game sound on during MNF, even though no Texas teams were playing. Good amount of TVs so viewing is possible regardless of where youre sitting.
