I am a retired CPA and Certified Financial Planner who recently moved to Texas. I needed my will, trust etc updated for the state of Texas. My daughter is a Texas lawyer but estates is not her area. I was so pleased when I found this law firm. Jnana Settle is brilliant estate attorney. Truly I have worked with some of the best and she is certainly among them. She covers all the bases, she has the process organized to a smooth running machine. And she quickly had the answers for me to make the decisions I had questions about. You dont have to know anything about a will or a trust, she will guide you through the process and explain the options you have. YOU will be making the decisions, because you will have the information you need. Such a painless process to get to the point that I am so happy with how my estate is set up. My wife and I just had our Will Signing Ceremony with Jnana Settle on 11/2/2021 and were very pleased with the whole experience from initial meeting - no charge - to the final package. She is knowledgeable and understanding, and showed professionalism and patience with our many questions. Estate planning is an exhausting and emotional process because of the many documents and decisions about death and incapacity that are involved, but Jnana made it about as pleasant as it can be, and clearly strives to protect your estate so that your wishes will be carried out regardless of many lifes contingencies that can occur. I had solicited referrals from many of our church friends, but after researching them the Settle Law Firm was our choice, first because their entire focus is on estate planning - not a department in a huge law firm, and because the approach is low-key; no pressure to do this or that, and no attempt to run up a large bill. Jnana gave us some fixed-price package options up front at the initial meeting so we knew what the cost would be before we committed to proceed. All of our communications were met with rapid responses . . . usually within minutes, though Im sure this cant be always the case. Staff person Claudia is very pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend The Settle Firm! Our Living Will & estate planning initiatives were handled beautifully, and the execution conference with Jnana Settle was thorough, expedient, and pain-free. Ms. Settle was professional, kind, & patient with our questions/unique situation! All communication received from their office was timely and her office personnel efficient. Ms. Settle was able to complete our documents in plenty of time before we had to leave town, which was very, very important to us. I cannot verbalize the immense relief my husband & I felt knowing our Living Will was in place before we departed. Please check this firm out before going anywhere else!

I found this attorney by accident, but she will be my real estate attorney for the foreseeable future. She is very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. She helped me set up my LLC, and also has a title company (Select Title, LLC) that I used to close my most recent transaction and will be using her again.
