My first time to visit this establishment and was impressed by everything. Tori, greeted us and took our order with her beautiful smile that radiated joy throughout the restaurant. David, the owner, was great people that took a joke with ease and was polite enough to take 5 and allow for a quick photo shoot with Tori and myself. Im glad my beautiful date, Cindy, introduced me to this great little BBQ joint; we will definitely visit it again. God bless the restaurant and its employees and guests. Thanks Tori and David.

Ace s BBQ in Mission, Tx was really good! Cleanliness, atmosphere, food and service overall was wonderful. All staff was smiling, friendly and helpful. Parking: Parking lot is in front of restaurant and there are plenty of spaces to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is wide for anyone in a wheelchair. The tables are spaced out so it isn t crowded.

Went on a Saturday night. Got the brisket plate. The brisket was nicely marbled & had great seasoning, but it was cold. Their side dishes are tasty. I got the cole slaw and potato salad. The lady that took my order was pleasant and offered extra sides, but my waitress only came to my table once. 1/2 pound brisket plate w/two sides and ice tea cost $30.

Awesome food. There is a Senior menu and the shrimp were huge. The moist brisket was really good. They even give you complimentary peach cobbler after dinner. Live music at this location on Mondays by man and wife team singing all kinds of songs, even Christmas songs. They go to Aces other locations on other nights. Definitely going again

The service was very good. However the best part of the meal was the fries. I don t mean to be rude at all, I respect the owner for being and staying in business. The brisket was dry and didn t taste like anything and was thrown on the tray as if it was the scraps left when everything else was gone, no smokiness no saltiness no pepper flavor. The pulled pork oddly tasted like chicken, also flavorless. The Mac and cheese I m guessing was from a package. Fries were nice and crispy. I ve been making bbq for years and sadly this was not bbq by any standard. I m sorry I really want to like it.

It was a brisket taco. Brisket was good and tortilla was home-made. but the food was room temperature. I expected a nice hot plate of bbq and instead got something that felt ready to go. When my food was served they forgot my dessert and I kindly asked for it and they never brought it? Apparently the server lady was the owner? Im sorry I do not care. If you are serving my food you are the waitress/server and if Im polite to you and kindly ask for something you forgot to bring, I do expect it to be served to me, in a respectful time. Becareful I just picked up 3 plates of smoked chicken from the school plates 2 of them were really raw after 6 minutes in the microwave I just gave it to my dogs. I spoke with the manager and refused to fix the issue she just said thats how they came out theyre smoked and the only way to get a replaced is if I took it back so they can see it. told her Im not going all the way back just for a chicken plate today its far from my house and she just said bring it at anytime just save the plate. Made the mistake of buying a school fundraiser ticket from this place. An impossible time frame they ALLOW you to pick up your tiny portioned brisket sandwich. An unfriendly unhelpful staff that has a table with rows of brisket sandwich bags ready to go but still makes you wait close to 20 minutes because they know youre there with a fundraiser ticket and not a regular purchase (no one in line so no reason for this delay). The taste was delicious and moist texture but the tiny portion definitely not worth the 10.00 I paid. Because of this bad experience and that of my coworkers I will not be taking my business here even though its only a block from my work. (thumbs down aces)

My stepson told me about this place. He bragged about the catfish sandwich and stated the BBQ was good. My wife and I definitely had to try it out. Laid back environment and a nice place to bring family and friends. Great customer service with a smile. I forgot to mention the Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. I just dont eat anyones potato salad. Especially store bought stuff. Hated it. I love Aces potato salad. Finally, in my opinion, potato salad made the way potato salad is supposed to be made. That Miracle Whip stuff, in my opinion, sucks. Sorry Miracle Whip lovers (Yucky). Thank you Jesus for great food. This is definitely Texas BBQ at its best. Dont forget to leave a good tip. Good BBQ is definitely a labor of love and very hard to find. Thanks for the love Aces. I had to add more information to my post. My wife and I also went to the Ace Restaurant in Edinburg because its closer to our home. I guess you can have the same name but not the same food. The Ace Restaurant in Edinburg was good but we noticed the potato salad in Edinburg wasnt the same potato salad they made in Mission. Both Ace restaurants our a great place to enjoy awesome BBQ. In my opinion, the Ace in Mission is definitely better. Sorry Edinburg. Just my opinion. Youll find the love at both locations but we felt more love at the Ace in Mission. I thank both locations for doing what they do but if I want the bomb potato salad, Im going to Ace Restaurant in Mission. Just keeping it real. Peace.

Usually this place is great. Chicken is perfect. But yesterday I got some brisket, smelled funny, was dry, very overcooked, very dark looking, not taste good. And thats because I got the moist cut. Disappointing.
