Its so wonderful that this is one of the first things you see coming into Midland (kidding). A tornado levelling the site would be a huge improvement. The owners of this dump should be put in stocks, publicly shamed and sent out of town for what they have done to this property. What was once a nice piece of desert land is now a dusty, dirty bladed lot. The dust and noise pollution emanating from them creates horrible and hazardous conditions. I hope the city actually does their job and closes down this dump. Almost anything would be better than this and it should have never been allowed. They have done very little to code or within city ordinances. An actual dump would serve more of a purpose and benefit than this place.

I went with a group of 6 to see the Spazmatics! This was our first time at The Tailgate. The concert was great and the service was excellent! The heat will trigger my MS symptoms, so it is necessary that I stay as cool as possible. I called and spoke with Ariel, and she made all of the necessary accommodations for me. I cant thank her and our server enough. We will definitely go back.

The guys at the gate were awesome on our way out. My wifes sugar dropped and she almost passed out. They gave her a Coke to drink and she was good before we got out of the parking lot. We tried to get some food from the food truck. But the smell was horrible. We had to get up wind of it to try and not be sick. We dont drink alcohol but there was a pretty long line to get anything to drink the whole time of the show. There is no seating unless you pay 400 for a table. At least make a designated area for people that want to bring their own chair. The place wasnt crowded. Most the people stayed in front of the stage. A big 10 stars should go to the gentlemen at the gate.

So this is an open air venue for concerts, street/pop-up markets, or whoever else wants to use or rent it out. Always an enjoyable experience coming here. There are couches and tables to relax at, as well as open areas for moving around. All the grub here is food trucks.

We went to the Lil Jon Brunch on Saturday. They were running late opening the gate. So we went to Hayashi for some apps and drinks to pass the time. Once they opened the gates, walking into the tailgate we were transported somewhere else. It was absolutely amazing. We had VIP couch tickets and had bottle service. All the hype and DJs at the venue made this experience once in a lifetime. Lil Jon came on stage and the place was packed and so much fun! When Lil Jon did shots and yeaahhh was a check off many peoples bucket list there. Incredible!

This place is WAY overpriced. Prepare to pay $10 for a 12oz beer and $300 upwards to $1000 for a table. Brunch is not brunch unless you are on a liquid diet. Can get boring after sitting around for hrs. Seems more geared for 20 s crowd. Also heads up on the people that drink and drive: Midland PD camps out around the area in order to cut back on the amount of drunk driving. Can t blame them though there have been a few accidents in the area with some of them involving people leaving this establishment. Parking: Almost all parking is in the dirt so don t wear shoes you don t want to get dirty.

I have been to many concerts here and my friends and I love it! Love the VIP Couches with amazing and attentive wait staff. The food trucks that have been there are phenomenal! Food does take a bit but no worries, sit back and listen to great music until they text you. The beer is cold, music is great and the atmosphere says have a great time! Love The Tailgate!!!!

This place is greedy. Charging over $90 for whats supposed to be a 100oz mimosa tower and they only give you 80ozs. Charging $100 to rent an umbrella so you dont get scorched by the hot sun. Prices at this place are ridiculous!!! Definitely do not recommend this place.

This place has no respect for the neighborhoods nearby. Anytime they have a concert, they blast the music so loud you can hear it over a mile away. If I wanted to go to a concert I would have. I shouldnt have to listen to it in my living room.

This place is an outdoor bar in Midland that has no respect or courtesy for the public. Since they have started hosting concerts, the music level is outrageous. I live at least 2 miles from there and have kept awake late into the night thanks to them. The manager doesnt care that the city is angry. Will NEVER take my friends, or business there.

Overall disappointed. Wanted a good sports bar-type place to watch football on Saturdays. I paid nearly $10 for 1 basic drink and the bartenders were rude. The food truck options are fine but I waited over 40 minutes for 3 tacos that ended up being cold when they were finally ready. The only redeeming quality is the outdoor atmosphere and playing the big game on a big screen with good speakers. Lots of little kids. LOTS. Didn t bother me, but something you should know before going. Overall just disappointed in the experience and likely wont be back.
