Very clean hotel. Staff on phone while trying to check in and check out. Would not on a request as a rewards member for my preferences with the dogs being away from elevator and top floor. Was placed next to the elevator on the top floor. Very lousy parking.

My oldest son and I stayed here. Alicia check us in. She was professional, kind, and easy going. The rooms was nice and clean. Beds are comfy. Wish they offered a real breakfast instead of frozen foods.

Absolutely love this hotel. My fiancé and I have stayed in a lot of hotels due to his work and we move around a lot. This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Tangela always makes sure to you smile, she s super friendly and always makes sure our needs are met:) ! Very sweet front desk and friendly staff. They also have kitchenettes, and brand new washing machines, hotel is always kept clean and the layout of our room was perfect!!! Also perfect location, lots of food close nearby and a Walmart walking distance!

I stay at hotels on a regular basis for extended periods of time when I come to town for work. I have a lot of experiences at various places, but the My Place hotel stands out to me. I think what made this stay so great was the Front desk woman Tangela. She was willing to go above and beyond to help make my stay the best it could be. She is very sociable and helpful l, greeting me by my name every time we ran into eachother, always in good spirits! She definitely deserves to be recognized!

Saved $250 in 4 nights here vs Marriott that I stayed in the week prior and tbh MyPlace had the same exact amenities with full kitchen and more comfortable bedding so I slept much better here, plus the window had an option to open that the competitor didnt. Location isn t as posh as W. Midland but hotel itself is better value EXCELLENT customer service Alicia and her staff, Tangela at front desk and Pat with maintenance, were all real, kind, and not only met any and all my needs and request with kindness and efficiency but more importantly saw my and shared in our humanity. It s so nice when I mention, in passing, about something real in life and other people - strangers - connecting and responding in kind with their own struggle. They let me lead the convo meaning they weren t overbearing but were kind and entertained my conversation. Rooms: Rooms are comfortable and include a full size fridge freezer stovetop microwave and ice maker. MUCH better than a hotel room with no kitchen. Safety: Very secure. Late night only front door opens with a keycard so I felt safe.

I would recommend this place to anyone who gets a chance to stay here!! Customer Service was top of the line!! We checked in at midnight and the desk clerk was smiling and happy to see us. If all hotels were My Place, the hotel industry would boom!! Thank yall for the wonderful stay!! Rooms

My Place Hotel - Midland has been our go to stay for our work crews the past 1-1/2 years. The GM - Alicia and all of the staff have been super helpful and accommodating even with our changing schedule. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay.

First and I hope last time staying at a My Place Hotel. Mattress lumpy and lain through. Had to flip it in the middle of the night to be able to sleep. This must be the only hotel in the entire United States that has no ice machine. There is an ice maker in the freezer in the room, but if you turn that on when you arrive, it would apparently take until morning until you have ice. If you have a cooler you are trying to supply, the tiny tub of ice it makes will NEVER be enough. In my specific case, though, the ice maker in my room wasnt working at all even when I turned it on. Just buzzed every 20 minutes but did not drop ice. Probably water line shut off or something. Toaster provided didnt work (content wouldnt stay down to actually be toasted). Further, whats the point of a cooktop, if there are no pots, pans, or other implements provided? Is it to warm my hands on? Normally, a hotel that provides a kitchen provides these. Here all the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen are empty. I doubt a lot of people travel with pots and pans. View out the window, an embarrassment (see photo) and windows cant keep freeway noise out. But at least you dont see the freeway because you see the wall of the neighboring building. Other than that, rooms pretty decent, though mine was somewhat beaten up. Staff friendly.

Tangle was so friendly and hospitable! I had my arms full and she opened the door to my room for me. I love myplace! Its the little things that make working 80, 90, 100 hours a week bearable! A full size fridge and freezer, a sink, a laundry basket, big and well-lit bathroom, etc. You dont have to eat fast food every day; you can cook! You dont have to carry your dirty coveralls in a trash bag! You can wash your Tupperware in the sink!

The rooms are amazing! Very beautifully set up. Very comfortable beds. And the staff was absolutely amazing!! There was an issue with the elevator, and the attendant assured us that if it wasnt working when we left, she would personally assist in getting my 84 year old mother down the stairs!!!

If you can speak with Tangela this lady made me feel right at home she went beyond the expectations of a customer service representative and for that I am humbly appreciative. I chose this hotel even as a Hilton honors member on our way to Dallas from California moving my son. I must say I m pleasantly impressed with every encounter I ve had with the friendly accommodating employees and everything else. The room was nicely appointed with amazingly comfortable beds (maybe even better than Hilton), a full sized refrigerator, a 2 burner cooktop, toaster, microwave, sink, coffee pot. The bathroom was clean and roomy with plenty of towels. And a huge plus was that the pet charge was only $40-45? Can t recall exactly. But Hilton is $50-75. I will definitely use this hotel chain again. I think this was a new one recently built. Stay here. You won t regret it.

Rooms are never clean, managment runs off employees, maintenance, and cleaning ladies constantly because of incompetence and rude vulgarity. Hotel is falling apart due to negligence, guests walking into occupied rooms due to negligence of front desk. Management overcharging rooms with weekly rates, with conveniently losing receipts even with bank statements present and insults guests. Never again

The front desk is always left unattended. Housekeeping is very poor. The GM Alicia is the worst. She is very unprofessional. She is at times very combative with guest. The entire hotel needs to be restaffed. Im so surprised that upper management has not made these changes. I would not recommend anyone staying at this place till some changes are made.

Everything is very nice and clean with some exceptions, the rooms are very comfortable with a kitchenette. We went there because of the recent snowfall caused by the lack of electricity and water in the area where we lived and it was very good here and safe for my children. The best thing is that on one side there are some food stores and the Walmart is very close. .

Best cheap hotel Ive stayed at in a long time. Brand new so everything was modern. Room was immaculate, large and everything worked well. Even had a two burner cooktop and a full-sized fridge. A room that nice would have normally cost double what I paid. Recommend if youre spending time in Midland-Odessa area.

This place is cheap but you get what you pay for. Thin walls allow you to hear every door on the floor, including the stairwell doors, to open and close at all hours of the night. Staff is almost never at the front desk. Proximity to highway is noisy and busy. Hallways and lobby appear dirty. Fire alarms going off.. Overall, quite disappointed with the quality of stay. Update: key card seems to deactivate frequently. Thus, one star review now. Update: now wifi doesnt work and no staff around to see about reset options.

When I went to check in after getting off work. Terrance which is the general manager checked me in was quick and easy. Had a good conversation which made me feel more at home. Beds is the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever had. Good water pressure in the shower big plus. While checking out the ladys working was the same as Terrance friendly and with a smiling face. Good hotel in all aspects. Well will see yall on the next one.
