Went in on Saturday. It was around lunch time. Only 2 tables were taken. Staff kept walking past counter and finally someone asked if I needed anything. One person started taking my order, abruptly stopped and another person came over and we started all over. The soup bowls used to be great. When you you order to go you get a blob of uncut bread. Wow.. The sandwiches were alittle better. They were thrown together with ryhme or reason. Please never get their pastries or breads. Flies all over the product. No coverings on any of them. Just nasty. This place used to be really good. Not any longer. Sad..

I went here to work one day and heard the manager screaming at the employees nonstop. It was very sad to watch those kids be treated that way and they were constantly threatened to be sent home if they rested for even a second. Also, it was distracting and hard to work because of it, so I had to leave. I hope that gets sorted out for the sake of the employees.

Very happy with my order today. Ive been avoiding the Midland location for years due to unacceptable portion sizes and other issues. I heard that things have improved, and decided to give them a shot, and everything was perfect. Glad to have a good Panera in Midland again.

The food was good. I enjoyed my sandwich. The interior needs some attention. The bench seats are peeling making it look shabby. My largest complaint is that they use Midland water for their beverages. Tea and Midland water so not mix. Filtered water is a necessity here.

Its a shame that employees ruin the reputation of Panera Bread. Where are all the robots! On numerous occasions, I cant order at the drive-thru because of the noisy road next to it. Not their fault. The other problem is that the employees are often very challenged with English making it uncomfortable for both. Ive wandered around at the front counter many times on my visits looking for somebody to take my order or help with something. Today, I ended up using the touchscreen....and tipped. Who did I tip? Maybe that was stupid on my part. Then one item I ordered was out. Why doesnt the inventory system sync with the touch panel? Additionally they forgot to give me one of my items. I went back to the counter...hunting again for an employee. Too many bad experiences on too many visits just doesnt make enjoying the food worth it.

What a hot mess. I feel terrible giving a bad review but this store needs major help. Any higher costs, if you are reading this....send help asap. These folks cant bake, the store is a mess, the tables are continuously sticky. The service is ...limited...if at all. Ive walked out before from waiting 5 or more minutes for someone to show up at the counter. The booths are peeling, its sub par food even for Panera standards. The only reason I continue to go is bc my 7 year old insists. We travel across America 2 times a year and frequent many, many Panera, and this one is just, continuously and has been for years, awful. Please help them.

When did Panera become $100 for a family 4? While the food was good, the prices are out of line. $100 to eat with plastic cutlery and cups? Restaurants offer more and better for lease. Service was slow but fine. Dine in area was dirty. I believe the problem is that theyve cut back on personnel. Only 1 person to take orders, delivery orders, clean tables and refill self-serve stations. No digital kiosks. There were ads for a new menu coming in April. Hopefully better and more affordable with real siliverware...

It was pretty good. It had a big open area and not a lot of people. They people taking our order was really nice. The food is a little more than others but that is because they give you a lot of food. This place was great and my only concern is how big the sandwiched are. But the solution to them is press down on the sandwiches. Other than that I think this is a good place to eat. That s why I give this place 4 stars!

No cars in the parking lot. Ordered online to pick up in the drive-thru also completely empty . And they still messed up our food. Almost $30 wasted on sandwiches we can t eat. Tried to call and of course the call is disconnected EVERY TIME. We live in Odessa grabbed food on the way home. So we can t easily run back up there to get it fixed. I stopped coming because of bad service . Unfortunately, this didnt change, it is still slow, and you receive your order in parts, we waited for speciality drinks a long time (we almost finished our food without the drinks, at list the food was warm and well prepared. The manager or the lady in charge of the kitchen starts to answer us in a rude manner after we keep asking for our drinks. I worked in customer service. Just pick another Panera location and bypass this one. I know these are first world problems to have, but damn. Things were already so bad that when she handed me a drink she called cappuccino, (I ordered a chocolate latte, aka mocha) I already knew I wasnt getting my correct drink and just accepted my fate and left. Let s unpack todays visit to Panera. After reading the reviews and seeing the now hiring signs and going at 12:20 lunchtime and seeing no vehicles I was a little ready to be underwhelmed. Let s knock out the first item. The city needs to do something about the wastewater (could be storm water)manholes next to their door. They are pretty smelly! Ramon was super friendly taking my order and helped me navigate the menu. I ordered soup and a Sammich Some of the tables were not clean which you can accept if a place is under-staffed. There were about three other tables occupied with lunch-go ers . So maybe they could have wiped the tables clean of crumbs. The food came quickly. The manager brought it. But neither the soup or sand which were hot. I was expecting some piping hot French onion soup. I received warmish soup. It was good though. The sandwich was about same. The bun felt cooler than room temperature. And the chicken was warmish haha. This place has a lot of promise and I watched the manager really stay on and manage her staff. But today it was somewhat underwhelming and somewhat ok. I would have given 3.5 stars if it was an option. Will I go back? Yea, but I won t be in a hurry.

I went through the drive through today at 12:32pm and ordered a 1/2 grilled cheese and a side of Mac and cheese. I was told to pull up to the front for my food. I finally went inside to see what was going on at 12:54 and the woman at the front I assumed the manager was there. I asked her about my food and she went to the back to check. She then came out and asked me exactly what I ordered so I told her and when she came back with my food you could tell it was freshly made which I appreciate but my order clearly had been forgotten or given away. I didn t end up even eating it because I did t have time to since I only had 30 mins for lunch from my job and spent 20 of them just trying to get what I ordered. The French-onion soup is absolutely delicious, in theory; so one extra star for that. Unfortunately, nothing that was supposed to come with the soup the cheese and the croutons/bread was included. I ordered the group size, and none of us have anything except the soup base. Thats not even French-onion soup any more; thats just onion-water! (These arent even sides, either: theyre always supposed to be included with this soup.) Speaking of sides: I wonder if ordering the group-size entree still means you only get one side because thats all we got. Last time, we EACH received a side with the group-order size. I dont know if this was just another error or a new policy or what, but its almost as disappointing as cheeseless French-onion soup. So... I made a twenty-minute drive to get, essentially, one-third of the order. Should have checked it at the store, I guess, but for the price I sort of assumed the service would be a bit better than McDonalds.

Went through drive through to get strawberry salad did not give me the bread that goes with had to go back then when I get home 15 miles out there is no dressing. They were not busy. First and last time going to this overpriced bland mental asylum that pose as a restaurant. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodles soup and a frozen strawberry lemonade. I got charged over $13 for what appears to be a can of Progresso chicken noodle soup. The strawberry lemonade was awful, it wasnt sweet at all and I threw it in the trash. I took one bite of the baguette and threw it in the trash, it tasted like youre chewing tire rubber. Definite waste of money going here.

I got my salad it was missing ingredients. 6 months ago they didnt have everything either. if every other restraint can run to Sams club to make sure they have the ingredients Panera should too especially for the price they want to charge. If I could do zero stars, I would. Ive had two bad experiences in the last week with them. I ordered curbside last week for my family, got there, checked in, waited for awhile, no one came out, so I went inside, 3 staff were standing there just talking, I got my order and everything was cold. Today, we ordered online for my workplace, 9 meals, we waited an hour to go pick up, get there and all the doors are locked. Lights are on but no one answers the phone. Went through the drive through, apparently they are making food but claim not to have our order. I have the email confirmation. Customer service canceled the order bc they said this location was closed. Odd if theyre making some peoples orders (there were other people in the drive thru). Will definitely not be back!

I walked in and there was nobody at the counter. One person in the back was filling a mayonnaise squeeze bottle. When I got her attention she rudely said I see you. All I wanted was a cup of hazelnut coffee because I am in their coffee subscription plan. When someone finally bothered to help me, I went to full my cup and there was no hazelnut coffee out. I asked if they had any in the back and was told no. I walked out. This was the worst experience I ever had at a Panera restaurant.

Tip #1: if you go on drive-thru, REFUSE to move to spot #1,2,3 or in front of the trash for them to take your order because they will forget about you and make you wait even more. I had obliged and 7 times out of 10 they had me wait 25 min for a simple sandwich. Now what I do is refuse to move and they have no more choice to hurry up and do it. They only ask you to move to not mess their timer for company purposes but it is up to us the customers to let corporate know how bad they are doing by affecting their numbers. Corporate needs to do something about this branch... it s terrible...

Sad day when you go to Panera BREAD and they are out of bread that comes with your meal. French onion soup came out warm at best and was literally broth and onions. No cheese or bread. Terrible mistake coming here and spending $40 for my family to eat dinner. Now we understand why it was dead in here. Tables were dirty. As we were leaving a group of 3 ladies (senior citizens) had to ask if the cleaning supplies on top of where you put your dinnerware back works to clean the table and then cleaned the table themselves. 2 stars because my sons Mac n cheese was good along with the cookies.

We were interested in the new chowder menu item. When we asked, no one had a clue about what was even in it or any information about it whatsoever. We then reverted back to a menu item we usually get which, wouldn t you know, they were out of that. We finally ordered a basic sandwich, and was asked to pull around and wait in a parking area where we spent 25 minutes wondering if they forgot about us.. not sure what the deal is, but turned a good day into a frustrating one.

There was no parking up front as it was all reserved for curbside which isn t a huge deal but I m 8 months pregnant and there is ice on the ground. Since there was no one picking up food it bothered me some. I waited up front until I was acknowledged and a manager had to come let the girls in the back know that they had a customer after about 5/6 minutes. I have gestational diabetes and was asking what was in one of the smoothies and the cashier had no idea. Someone ordered after me that was allergic to dairy and no one was aware of the menu items nor did they have a menu with allergens on it. There was 1 other couple here and 2 of the tables I tried to sit at were gross and not cleaned. The food was good but the service was not. The ingredients and nutritional information is not posted on the menu making it difficult to know what to order when you don t come here frequently.

I took a part-time job here recently and it has to be the most disorganized mess I have ever seen. First off I get hired on a Wednesday, the GM told me she will call me the next day with my schedule. No call on Thursday. So I call Friday and am told to come in that night. I work that night and my goodness, no one hardly knew what the sauces for the salads were. They werent even labeled. We ran out of a lot of different items also. They thought they were out of pepperoni and for most of the night they told customers that, then later in the night someone found more. Extremely disorganized. I then ask for my schedule again, Im told to come in tomorrow (Saturday). At this point i still have not been given a physical copy or a way to access the full schedule. Saturday comes and no one has done much prep so we run out of various item again. Also, we ran out of soup bowls and lids. There was also a time where the front was left unattended and customers had to come and yell for someone to come to the front. At the end of my shift Saturday I request a schedule again. I was told I work the coming Friday and that following Tuesday. I said ok. I was added to the group me chat and someone added the schedule finally and I see the manager told me wrong I actually work 2 additional days to the days she said. One of them being Thursday. So I come in Thursday and try to clock in and it said I had been terminated. So I get with the 2 night shift managers and they said the GM must have mistaken you for someone else and fired you by accident. This also wasnt the first time this had happened. So they try to get me back in and it didnt work. So I come back Friday and the GM is there and she cant even get me back in the system. She also tried accusing me of the no call no shows. She also tried to leave my social out on a sticky note on her desk. When I confronted her about it she said, Oh I have everyones out, its no big deal. Clearly Nora the GM has never taken any formal training on business practices. Thats a big problem. Needless to say I wont be working in that mess anymore. And after reading a lot of the comments on here, this should bring to light why this Panera bread is so terrible.

Given that I came here to do homework since my home internet isnt working at all, Ill need to find a different study location. When we arrived there was one employee running around trying to get things done. A female employee was sitting at a table and was on her phone. We waited it seem like forever just to order. Then we sat at our table for a long period of time waiting to get our food. They did not bring my coffee. I was almost done with my food and went to the front where there was other people ready to order and called into the kitchen for someone to help me. No one came so I went back to my table. Finally we were just ready to leave in my coffee came. I do not believe we will ever go back.

I ordered the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich a couple weeks ago and it was fantastic. I ordered it again today and wow...did you even try? First of all, there was no hummus on it. The onions and tomatoes were FROZEN and there was literally a chunk of ice in the sandwich. The cucumbers were mealy and the bread was soggy. I ordered an apple with my sandwich, instead of the baguette...got chips. I went through the drive-through so I didnt notice these issues until I got back to work. The order was so bad, I almost drove back with it, but it would have taken me 20 minutes to get back there and my lunch hour was up. Do you even care about your quality and customers, Panera? If its not a management issue at this location, then you need to hire new staff because obviously they dont care. Im also not one to write bad reviews, but this took the cake. Congratulations, youre now down 1 customer...never going back.

This is the worst Panera bread I ve ever been to. I used to love going to Panera bread even if it meant spending $15 for lunch. My order is ALWAYS wrong. Something is literally always missing. The smoothies are watery, the lettuce doesn t seem fresh, the granola parfait are missing something every time...from the honey, to the actual granola. Forget asking them to make your sandwich a different way....they will mess it up. The soup, Mac are filled 1/2 way. The manager seems nonchalant. To bad because they are probably missing out on a lot of business.

Awful service, and the portions were tiny. My half a steak sandwich was the size of a quarter of a PB and J. My kids ordered the small Mac and cheese and they only filled it half way and told me that they would charge me extra to fill it up. The Midland Panera was pathetic to say the least, and I will not be going back. The San Antonio Panera breads give you your moneys worth while the Midland one rod you off. All this after looking forward to going there for six months. You bet Ill be calling corporate tomorrow

Good food from the chain, just wish this store had it ready for consumers. The chain has a great name. However, Midlands branch is par none in customer service. My first visit here I walked in and ordered a blueberry peach smoothie. It took over 20 minutes for it to be served. They forgot I was in the lobby, pacing up and down in front of the counter. I requested a refund at this time, in which the manager was horribly rude issuing my refund. We all have bad days, I get it, and none of us want to deal with a customer that is dissatisfied; however I wasnt rude and explained that I wasnt going to pay for the service received. She rolls her eyes doesnt say another word and slaps my cash on the counter... here you go have a nice day. My next experiences are all drive through where I continuously get told they are out of most their pastries, with the added pleasure of some disgruntled employees yuck attitude.

Horrible experience @ Panera bread..the manager Nora was utterly rude..no respect to customers...after waiting for quite sometime she does not even acknowledge the customers but was busy managing the girls...I mean yeah you need to show that you are a boss but there are other times..not when customers are waiting for someone to atleast take orders. I walked in to get my son breakfast. I was wearing a mask as I should. My son, under two years of age wasn t because he won t keep it on even though I ve tried many times. So the girl behind the counter said that he needed one too, I explained to her he won t keep it on, he s under two. So she basically couldn t give me service. At the same time there were 3-4 people sitting down not wearing a mask and I pointed it out to her as well. Educate yourselves, governor said children under 10 aren t required to wear a mask. Terrible!! Two separate times we got home with bagels and NO cream cheese. Double checked the ticket to make sure we ordered cream cheese and sure enough we did they just didn t want to give it to us. Ordered a Caesar Salad for my daughter today and the dasher brought it to us after a 60 minute wait....he said it was a delay at the store.....and guess what? No freaking dressing with the salad!!
