I loved the name first of all and thats what brought me here. I see why the reviews are so high. They make you feel right at home and the names are very unique. The food looked great also. The drinx will definitely hit the right spot. I will be a repeat customer and continue to support. The lady in the front was very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable and made the experience that much better. Highly recommend

Ordered the jerk chicken tacos it was great but if youre coming from anywhere other than mesquite p, then it s like playing Russian roulette you may travel far only to get there and be told the hours are wrong on the door .but it s not just the the hours(bc they were/are inconsistent on the website too) the phone number doesn t work also so therefore you get no customer service in case you don t know the open hours. I also ordered 5 tacos through doordash only to have three in the box but there was no way to make sure because once again the phone number that doesn t work, and I then placed a schedule order to arrive by 6:00pm mind you they are closed mon-wed so you would think all the ingredients would be purchased for roll out for Thursday, so basically I waited nearly all day for them to open at 5pm on Thursday only to be told they don t have the ingredients for the jerk tacos .this to me takes out all the experience of the food itself if the establishment can t fix simple scheduled hours and open a phone line for communication so the food itself gets 5 stars but as for as communication and customer service goes 2 stars

Came here the other day looking for a drink and a snack lol. The vibes was a 10. The girl at the counter (braids/locs, glasses, from Arkansas I think) she was a 10. Cool af. The creative names of the daiquiris was cool. We got a small nachos and it was sooo good ! I m still thinking about it! Only critique I have is I wish the inside seating was a little bit better. If you have never had Jerk Chicken Quesadillas this is a must have! The flavor is crazy good in every bite. These are definitely the best quesadillas I have ever had. They have a sign inside that says this is not fast food. My food was made to order and well worth the wait. The service is good and friendly. There was nothing special about the atmosphere. In my opinion, people should be lined up waiting to get some of this food.

Visited for the first time on a Saturday evening. It wasnt busy when we arrived. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked inside, with the most amazing upbeat and positive attitudes. The atmosphere was just so welcoming. My husband and I only came for drinks and let me say they did not disappoint. They also allowed us to sample before purchasing and choose drinks according to your tolerance, which I love. Maybe the next visit we will get a chance to try the food, which also looks amazing! First visit, but it was definitely not the last. I am big on great service, and these ladies delivered just that!

My friend and I was looking for a small place we had never been to before and I found this place and we hit the jackpot! We both got the BLT and tried the bacon ranch fries. Literally just left. And throwing $51 in the trash. The first young lady who took our order was nothin but amazing. Told us 20 minutes before the order would be ready. We came back in 30 and the order was only half complete. Our Philly cheese steaks were ready and looked amazing and we couldn t wait to get home to enjoy. But they told us 5 minutes before the jerk tacos would be ready. 15 minutes later, I checked again, and still not ready. So of course, I asked how much longer because now our sandwiches are getting cold. I take a look in the kitchen because the swinging door has a window. I could see the cook is in the back, licking her fingers and preparing our tacos. I was upset, disgusted and appalled because I couldn t believe it. Only reason I didn t ask for a refund, is because I know the owner is a small black business and every cent matters. So I decided to take my food and throw it right in the garbage. No way I m eating that after seeing that. Hope the owners review the cameras and take action. Wish them nothing but success and hope they take this review as a constructive criticism and not as bashing. Kaye

Ordered out food with our drinks. I got a chicken Parm sandwich, my uncle got philly cheese, and my cousin got nachos. Theres a little wait because the food is fresh, but its so worth it! Most places are hit or miss but once you find a good one you have to share it! I was greeted immediately actually before I even walked in by the owner if I m not mistaken. They asked what type of drink I was looking for & gave a run down of their food menu. I only had one sample but that was all I needed, she hit it on the head. Cobb Salad: I ordered it minus black olives & croutons (not braces friendly lol) but with avocado added. Yum yum! It served its purpose for dinner & lunch the next day. A small just wouldn t have done me justice. Oowee Daiquiri: Oowee is right! It was sweet with just the right amount of liquor granted the size I ordered included an extra shot. I intended on just drinking half of it & saving the rest for the next day. Guess what? I drank it all that evening - couldn t put it down. I ve tried majority of the daq spots around DFW & I can say Daqs 2 Geaux is in the top 5 of my list. Thankfully it s not far from home so I will definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. Their customer service was amazing & they made sure to keep in mind me being allergic to pineapple when a sample was given & a free shot was selected for being a new customer. They even have reward punch cards, which is quite rare. Overall, I would definitely recommend Daqs 2 Geaux if your in the area !

Today is the familiarity of Daqs 2 Geaux. This was our 1st time, on arrival we were greeted by a kind and helpful lady. The place has good weather and good customer service. There are many types and sizes of drinks to choose from, attached to the walls with pictures of drinks. They allow you to have a tasting experience before you buy. They have jello shots, no alcohol and no food. The staff have lots of helpful drink tips and we can easily get them to the right place. We have Cajun Ranch Fries, Jerk Chicken Wings, and Steak Quesadillas. Daquiris and the food are fantastic! ! We will be back!

Idk were to START or end.. We went in looking at the menu for about 2 secs then the young lady told us to tell her what level we were on you know what was our TASTE, i swear she was so wonderful GREAT service. She even let us test them 2 see if we approve first in which i thought that was so helpful and caring.. Shes not just there to get paid, shes dedicated for real and we felt good after our purchases.. So, the food was great and I really want to reccomend this place. That being said, I had to wait over an hour for a sandwich and I ended up running over on my lunch period. I should have just walked out. It was never communicated to me that there would be a delay that long. If they could iron out the wait issue this place would be pretty great to go to during my lunch. Edit: To the owner, I appreciate that there may be issues with the capacity of your kitchen, though it was never indicated that the wait could be 75+ minutes. I was not told that it would be so long when I ordered. I was told after 45 minutes of being in your shop and asking when my food would be done that it would be another 10-15 minutes. That turned into 30 minutes. You are going to need to accept that this is an insane wait time for any restaurant, much less for some sliders. Dismissing that and saying that I knew that it would take that long has made it now impossible to reccomend your business. Good Luck.

We ordered steak sliders, loaded fries, jerk chicken, 2 daiquiris, and 2 jello shots. The sliders was salty and dry the fries where wedges and they were baked and undercooked I dont know what type of cheese they used taste like dollar store cheese in a can the bacon taste like it was bits you get in a container the daiquiris melted into drinks before we could get home and we literally stay down the street the only thing good was the jello shots if I could give this place no stars I would we will not be returning I will NEVER recommend!!

Amazing, you walk in and are immediately greeted with such high energy and a welcome feeling. Can t make up your mind about a drink? Don t even worry ! They will ask you what you usually like and can match it perfectly. Don t even get me started on the food, I made sure to come in on a Friday to try their chicken parm sliders and omg I couldn t put them down! Dangerously delicious, I m just saying. I asked for a strong drink she let me try the bottom middle and top.Then I asked for the most spicy wings she had available and wasnt disappointed ,but unfortunately not overwhelmed by the heat . I visited on mother s day and First off let me say I was greeted with the most eager inviting customer service I ve experienced this year . Menu suggestion, sampling and even freebies. I got the lighter sweeter drinks which were affordable and they still had a kick to them. The drink names are very fun but she explains the flavors very well. The jerk chicken was great just the right melody of savory a pinch of sweet and spicy. She gave Jell-O shots for a purchase incentive. She even gave cupcakes in celebration of Mother s Day. On top of that They have a punch card loyalty system for guess what, a freebie... I stumbled across this gem while doing a Google search for food and a daiquiri. I went a little after noon and they were open and ready to serve! The daiquiri I was made was called W.A.P. & it was just right. A little sweet and subtle but lets you know it was there! I also got the beef macho nachos and they were good and a lot!! I had enough leftover to share with my hubby. The service is fast and friendly and the free jello shot was perfect! I say go see this place and test out what they have for yourself. One thing...no seafood is served here! I understand but I love seafood! The woman that served me was very pleasant to talk to as to why no seafood is served here and didnt have any problem with recommending another Black Owned establishment that does...that alone is worth 5 stars to me! This place is fantastic! Theres a variety of menu items so there is something for everyone, but everything looks so good its hard to choose. The Cajun ranch potato wedges were amazing and my picky son loved his lemon pepper wings. This is real food - not like what you get at chain restaurants. It was made fresh and packaged to go with care - everything was still warm when we got home. The daiquiris are so good and are high quality. The customer service was exceptional and we enjoyed looking at all of the different daiquiris on the menu and planning for our next visit while we waited. We loved the playful creativity of the daquiri names. Im going to be back real soon to try the nachos and salads!
