This is by far the best mountain bike trail in dfw in my experience. One of the only ones that has actual fixtures and challenging downhill components. EKG and funtown make it #1. Probably the only trail in the area that lets you actually put to use a good dual suspension bike.

It sure would be a lot nicer on the River Legacy Trails, if people turned down their volume or turned off all audible music. Some people come here for natural sounds, like birds, and simply wind in the trees, etc. Some stereos that people play loudly while riding their bikes is dangerous, how do they hear if someone is passing them? These trails are not a velodrome, some people just go too fast on bicycles and some pass walkers or runners just inches next to them when there is a whole lane next to them. ? There have been horrible accidents because of people not following simple rules.

It was our first visit here. It was really nice, my grandkids had a wonderful time. The company picnic was great. Playground: We had an incident at the dinosaur playground in which my grand daughter went sliding down one of the slides and landed on some dog poo that had not been cleaned up. Luckily, I brought them a change of clothes Toilets: They were very clean, but unless.you parked close, I thought they were too far away from the play grounds. Dog-friendliness: Lots of pets, but not everyone cleaned up after their pet. Picnic area: Nice large tables and lots of places for large families.

There is a lot of land in this well-designed park. There is a huge pavilion on one end of the park for large gatherings. Endless bike and nature trails all around and within the park. Theres a nice playground for kids. Its usually busy on weekends as this is a very popular place. Theres a learning center not far from the main entrance. Definitely the best park in Arlington. From the East entrance from Industrial/N. Collins, you have access to trails that go under the N. Collins bridge into the Viridian side.

Very clean and seems to be kind of managed. There was a few areas the trails were closed off. Not sure how long its been like that. Seems to be a Popular park as well for hikers and bikers. This is more of a casual hike with paved path that are mostly flat. Some part a very shady, but there are some very sunny parts. Overall the views are normal, appealing but not beautiful. Mostly get some tree views or the road and an open field. You also have to share the path with the bikers and watch out for them. The nature center is quite pretty and well built. Toilets: Port a potty. Real toilets in the nature center Dog-friendliness: Saw lots of dogs Picnic area: Many tables near the playground and there is a pavillion

Great walking, running, or biking trails paved and concrete trails are abundant, as well as some off shoots of dirt paths into wooded ares for those more adventurous. Water fountains and plenty of shade is also available. There is a canoe/ kayak launch available. Access is under the bridge that spans the Trinity River for those looking for water adventure. Maybe an opportunity to fish Note: ( water here is usually moving fairly swiftly). Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space for the mans best friend to get out, exercise, and get fresh air too. * All dog rules apply- pick up your dogs messes, and keep them on a leash *

Love coming here. There are 16 miles of trails - anything from roads to dirt - you can choose to walk/bike/hike/run with great scenery. Lots of families come and bring their strollers or little carts to get some exercise. Trinity River runs through part of it and there is a small designated area for fishing. There is wildlife in the area, but I personally have never seen anything too dangerous (my friend saw a wildcat but said it was on the other side of the river). There are multiple pavilions, lots of wide open grass areas for soccer or just having fun, a cool playground for kids, and a nature center where kids can learn about the animals around us. Most of the trail is surrounded by trees to give an extra outdoorsy semi-forest-feel which is well-welcomed. You d never guess it was that big until you ve seen it yourself. Playground: There is a big playground area that has two set ups. One is for toddlers and the other is for bigger kids (5-12). They ve got slides, swings, bridges, tables, and a log for crawl space. It s all animal and forest themed, and good for families with multiple kids. An ice cream truck usually comes if the weather is good on the weekends. Toilets: There is a restroom (rest-area style) near the playground but they also have portapotties about 2.5 miles deep in case you need a pit stop on your run/walk. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on the trails but must always be on a leash.

One of the best parks in DFW for everyone. Kids to adult, family outings to distance runs to mountain biking best option for all in close to I-30 and 360 in Arlington. Paved trail loop for walkers and runners - accessible and stroller friendly. Nice bathroom and cool playground area. And around 10 miles of dirt trail for mountain biking and more serious hiking. One of the best places to go to get a break from the noise and intensity of the city with enough parking available. Kids play zone with 6 different types of swings for toddlers to young kids. Also available is a picnic table with a BBQ station. Playground: There is a big playground for adults and kids can enjoy playing slides, swings etc. Toilets: Restrooms are clean. Dog-friendliness: There is a big open green grass ground and long trails. These things certainly help to enjoy pets. Picnic area: Picnic table available with BBQ machine.

The Nature Center has a lot of interactive activities and the bird watching was so fun. We will definitely be back again. Playground: The have a big kid portion and little kid portion. A lot of variety in the activities available - slides, climbing structures, and swings (which can accommodate large children/disabled individuals can use). Toilets: Restrooms in the nature center were large and they had a family restroom. I didn t see a changing table but they had a larger countertop where you can change a baby/toddler.

You can pack a picnic and spend the entire day here biking, hiking, skating, playing, and relaxing. Lots of open areas of grass to play ball and fly kites in, OR to catch Pokémon and fly drones. Which ever generation youre trying to cater too, everyone will have a blast here. Gurantee it.
