Great food and great service. My husband got the fajita enchiladas dinner with verde sauce and I got the faijita combo nachos and shared with my MIL. They were accommodating to my 5 month old and even gave my avocado and a plastic spoon so I could feed him some. Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly including booster seats and high chairs and car seat straps

Ive been a patron of this place for a long time. The food is always great and consistent. Steak fajita torta is my go too. Kid-friendliness: Kids have never been an issue here, not much for activity but they are always welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Isles are wide with lots of room to accommodate most wheelchairs, crutches, walkers or whatever else, Ive never been in the bathroom so Im not sure what the situation is there.

My wife and I would come once every 2 weeks but for the past 2 times we ve come in, they changed how the fajita nachos are made, before the plate would be full of cheese and plenty of meat, now they literally give you 12-13 chips with some cheese and meat. You are basically charging me $1 a chip. Smh. Go back to the way it used to be.

I had the best experience! The food was amazing! And Im a hard-core food critic. I come from a family of chefs and West Coast Mexican food. And I havent had this good Mexican food since I moved to Texas. This tops the cake for me. We will definitely be back. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of the food. The horchata is pretty amazing too! & It was affordable!!! Loved this place!

The food was as good as it normally is. The staff seemed stressed and maybe short-handed. It seemed like we had inconvenienced them by being there. There is now a limit of 2 tortillas per entree order. I guess that they cost too much to make. I probably wont be returning anytime soon. We used to go there quite often. Maybe new ownership???

We have been coming here forever and have always had a positive experience and the food is fantastic.. their queso is a family favorite! Our son always gets the chicken fried chicken and will never order anything else and Im going to be honest... Im coming really close to trying it out myself because it does look delicious!! We love Martinez and I think you will as well so give them a try.

Its quite amazing that you can go into a business and experience what is now becoming very rare, and that is the superior customer service. Our waitress was amazing! It was like we had our own personal waitress taking care of only us in the whole restaurant. She is fantastic! The charro beans are the best Ive ever had next to my old co-worker and her Charro beans. Unbelievable! This is definitely a five-star review Wheelchair accessibility: Im currently going through some major medical things and am currently having to use a walker. It is the simplicity of managing my handicap going in and out of the restaurant as well as being in the restaurant was absolutely simple! Top that off with a cherry coming into the restaurant. One of the patrons opened the door, so kindly just the same as I was leaving again. A kind patron opens the door for me! People there still are wonderful souls in this world

Ive lived here in Mesquite for 25yrs. The first time I went to Martinez everything went really well. We went as a group from work for lunch and service was on point. This 2nd time around it was just me and my man. Again since they were quick the last time during lunch I thought well lets go to Martinez which he has never been and it made my second time. We got our drinks chips and salsa. The waitress took our order. We waited 45 minutes and still no food. We watched other servers service their customers while we waited. To make a long story short we ended up waiting for 45 minutes and no food. I will not be going back and Im definitely not recommending. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!..

Martinez catered my Daughters wedding, and it was as Amazing as it ALWAYS is at the restaurant!! Authentic and fresh!!! Price was very comparable and affordable, with the exception of $8 per gallon of Tea. Service was great!! They were a little late, but it worked out just fine!! Overall great experience and will hire them again in the future!!

Party of 8. 1 waitress for half of a very busy place. It was not her fault and we still tipped very well. Took forever to get our drinks after receiving our chips. Took approximately 40 minutes before our order was taken. Once order arrived, several did not receive what they had ordered and we sat with empty drinks, no refills on chips and salsa with impatient children to boot. The food used to be so good here years ago. But it lacked quality and flavor. It was very bland and the service was awful. Not sure if we will be back.

I drive for Uber so Im always looking for a local place to eat. I stumbled across Martinez Resturant with its neon red sign glowing in the distance. I decided to try them out and Im glad that I did. The decor was vintage like it was from the late 80s or 90s. I liked the retro look it took me back to my childhood. I ordered the Carne Asada which came with rice, beans and guac.. The skirt steak was VERY tender and flavorful. I was highly impressed. The food quality is amazing. My only let down was I ordered a Coke as opposed to the horchata which I later discovered on the menu. The prices were very reasonable considering how many resturants have raised prices exorbitantly. I took the time to read the story of the owner and found out they are closed on Sundays like chic fila. Thats pretty cool. I highly recommend this place and will be back again when Im on Mesquite.

Good for TexMex food. Great price for the current economy. We got the sour cream chicken enchilada lunch platter. The sour cream sauce was really sour creamy, which I do like that way. We told her we didnt want any more chips and salsa, which the menu stated was an extra charge but she brought it out anyway free of charge. I think we would go back again.

If you come to Martinez be sure you have the pleasure of having Jesus or Elsa as your waiter. Both are the absolute best. You will be lucky if your drink even has a chance to get half empty. They keep your salsa full. Everyone there is great but Elsa and Jesus are that next level you for!

Had street tacos: they came with very tender(don t even need your teeth to eat) beef fajitas cooked with vegetables. Had a good flavor but not mouth watering for my taste; the same with the charros beans. The ambient is mellow with Spanish Christian music playing at a low decibel. Ive been dining at this restaurant since its early beginning as a very small one-room restaurant which was located further down Kearney. Food has always been great considering other Tex-Mex fare in the area. Service has always been friendly and attentive. The cleanliness of the dining area and the restrooms are top-notch.
