BEWARE: They are crooks! I have eaten there 2-3X, and two times they added $10to 20 in tips which were fraudulent by adding numbers to the tip; seems to be a pattern so keep your receipts so we can bust them and get them some jail time, may be shut them down! Today I checked on the internet and their lunch prices were 625. When I got there the same dishes were 850. I went to the restroom and came back, the waiter had brought my water with a lemon left laying on the table like a pig, a couple of weeks ago I ate there as one person and left $2 tip which was changed to $20 when I checked my bank account. If they are doing this, no telling what else they are doing such as recycling uneaten food. Our community does not need this, and it can spread in their circles.

The food was average, nothing exceptional. The service was poor, looks like they didnt expect Latinos in the restaurant. The atmosphere was not comfortable. I did not enjoy this experience. Server was nice, food was beyond bland and wasnt appetizing besides the appetizer chips and salsa. 8 dollar guacamole was outrageous given how bland that was for 2-3 dollops. I wouldnt recommend this place lest youre geriatric.

El pueblito is a hidden gem in Plano. This is an amazing family owned Mexican spot with great drinks. They ve been in Plano for a long time and rightfully so. Familiar faces for all the servers and the dishes always taste so fresh and good. My favorite is the Tampico enchiladas. My wife loves the chilli relleno. Nacho appetizer, queso, shrimp cocktail and chips/salsa are all so good. Never had a bad dish here. Do yourself a favor and wait until a table is ready you won t be disappointed. Owners are always so nice. Food is amazing. You should go! Parking: Easy to find a spot.

This is a favorite for several people from our church including myself. Prices have gone up a little as the cost of all food has, but the food is still great and the portions are still generous. They have maintained the family-owned atmosphere. Whether Im grabbing something to go or sitting down with friends/family, I love the beef street tacos or beef fajitas, personally. My native Mexican friends enjoy it too, so its not just me. They can get pretty busy, so you may end up waiting a short time if you show up during a rush, but I havent had to wait a significant amount of time for a long time.

I brought my picky family and my picky partner and I heard nothing but good things about the food. Its great. Prices are great. There was about a 10 minute wait to be seated. Im not surprised for a Friday evening considering how busy this establishment always is. The staff is always friendly and once our order was placed the food came quickly. Their margaritas are delicious, powerful and good size. Their street tacos are seasoned well, rice and beans are delicious. Their chicken nachos are loaded, a piece or 2 of chicken on every chip. Their complementary chips and salsa are also delicious.

The service in this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is excellent. Friendly, quick, and polite. The restaurant is a bit cozy, with not a lot of room. Luckily we didnt have to wait on a Tuesday night, but you might have issues during more busy times. I would not come back here again, though. The food was only okay. I ordered fajitas and the beef was good, but all the onions were barely cooked on top, and burnt black on the bottom. The side of beans was not flavorful at all. My wife and I did not finish them, and we love beans at Mexican restaurants. The rice was good, soft and tasty. The queso was very runny. I honestly dont understand how a Mexican restaurant in DFW has 4.6 stars with this kind of food.

Im worried that writing a good review for this amazing hole-in-the-wall gem of a Mexican restaurant will make it more crowded than it is now. So here goes... If you cant make it down to Baja and you dont want the canned Taco Bell stuff thats passed for Mexican food...then you must try El Pueblito (The Little Town). Practice your Duo-Lingo Spanish while enjoying warm hospitality and delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. Pull up a chair (hecho en Mexico) and be greeted by a warm basket of the most mouth watering chips and salsa ever.... Try not to get to full on them to make room for their enchiladas with chili con carne sauce. The place is small in size, but big on flavor!

I must say that this was such a warm and delightful experience. They seated us very fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you want authentic Mexican cuisine they have it as well as Tex-Mex. Food was good basic tex- mex fare. Simple but filling. Sunday afternoon is quite busy, but they got our group of 7 seated with little fuss. The drinks were out quickly and the food was as well. I had a bowl of tortilla soup, but it was flavorless and lacked more chicken flavor and spices. The pieces of tortilla that were in the soup were already soggy and falling apart and not crunchy. Took the family out for dinner. People were super nice, food was great. The only downside was the place being kinda small. Because the food was so good (and the space tiny) it was fairly crowded. Dont let this stop you from going. I recommend fajitas. The server said theyre always super busy so be prepared for a wait. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu was simple but it worked. Chips and salsa was good! Food was mid. I could have made better or the same thing at home. I ordered the Supreme Burrito, which was $14. There was little to no meat or rice and lots of lettuce. My friend ordered the full order of grilled chicken nachos which was also $14. He said they were good, but for a full order, very small. The waiter did a good job, but could have come to ask if we needed more chips and salsa or drink more frequently. In all it was a great experience because I love to try new restaurants but I could have made the same thing or better at home. I sadly won t be back.

This is my go-to hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. When I feel like I want a taco I dont bother with the fast food places, I go to El Pueblito and have a couple of crispy beef tacos. When Im really hungry Ill add some enchiladas or nachos. Everything Ive had here is great, the service is fantastic and quick.

Reg & I have been enjoying El Pueblito food for years. We have taken all of our family many times. No one has ever been disappointed. The food is delicious & the wait staff cant be beat anywhere. GOD bless you El Pueblito family.
