Went on a slow weekday and the service was immediate and super friendly. The sushi was very fresh and flavorful, and the fried gyoza (dumplings) were some of the best we ve had! I m excited to go back and have recommended this spot to a few friends since last visiting.

Good vibes at this quiet place tucked away in a generally busy neighborhood. BYOB. I saw a table with 6 guests having a good time. Unfortunately, my takeout experience was poor. The order wasnt ready by the estimated time plus another 15 minutes. The server handed me the wrong persons order, didnt apologize for the mixup, threw down me a tattered leather jacket with a bill for me to sign and left to serve the other table. Hmm. Ok. When the food was packed and ready to go, it was just left on a back counter until I grew fed up and picked it up and left. Disappointingly, the food was very mediocre. Serving tiny potions of fish inside giant balls of non flavored rice is not sushi. Will not be returning. Tons of other sushi places nearby.

Ive been coming here for over five years and now live 30min away. I think driving 30min+ for sushi in DFW says enough. The fish quality gets top marks, its BYOB and the dinner ambiance with low lights are perfect for any occasion. Recommend rolls, Salmon California, Craig Ranch, Fantasy, Lobster (special celebration worthy), Baked Salmon, Texan. Ive tried nearly the entire menu. Rather, its a casual lunch, work meetup, birthday, anniversary...Tai Sushi House is the spot. Protip: the gas station on the corner has decent BYOB option in a pinch

Firstly, this place is BYOB! So come prepared, unlike our first time. It is a bit quiet, so be prepared for that. We got the tempura platter, South Beach rolls, and the Spicy Yellowtail handroll. The tempura platter was a fantastic deal and absolutely delicious. The dipping sauce was standard for tempura, but better than the majority of tempura dipping sauce Ive ever had. The South Beach roll was solid. A bit too cucumbery, but the filling was fantastic. The hand roll was the star of the show. One of the best dishes Ive ever had at a sushi restaurant. The yellowtail was fantastic and the sauce/marinade/whatever you want to call it was out of this world good. And the price is hard to beat. We will be coming back!!

Tai Sushi House truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The moment I stepped in, the serene ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor and lighting created a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with a staff that was not only attentive but also well-versed in guiding us through the menu. They seamlessly combined professionalism with warmth, enhancing the overall dining pleasure. Now, lets talk about the star of the show the sushi. Each piece was a work of art, meticulously crafted with precision and creativity. The freshness of the ingredients was unmistakable, highlighting the restaurants dedication to quality. From traditional nigiri to avant-garde rolls, every bite was a burst of flavors that danced on my palate. The menu, expansive and diverse, offered a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine. It wasnt just a meal; it was a culinary adventure. The chefs special recommendations showcased a keen understanding of flavor combinations, leaving me eager to return and explore more. Presentation at Tai Sushi House was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish arrived like a masterpiece, appealing not only to the taste buds but also to the eyes. The aesthetic consideration in every detail truly elevated the dining experience. In conclusion, Tai Sushi House has set a new standard for sushi dining. Its not merely a restaurant; its a destination for those seeking an immersive and delightful culinary journey. Five stars dont seem enough to express the excellence this establishment delivers, making it a must-visit for anyone passionate about exceptional sushi and Japanese cuisine.

Short version: food was pretty good and the service matched the food (I arrived when they were not busy) Long version: I showed up at 1:50ish and the restaurant was empty. I ordered the Craig ranch roll and the tempura cheesecake. Let s get into it the roll first, it was delicious slightly chewy and crunchy. The taste was amazing but in my opinion they put a little too much cream cheese on the top. Now on to the cheese cake. It was not the best cheese cake I ve had I d say 6/10. The first bite was very hot and the next few were perfect but the last few tasted crunchy and warm on the outside and mostly cold cheesecake in the middle. It was also covered in Chocolate syrup that overwhelmed the flavor at first. The sweetness was great but I don t think this cheesecake was home made. That s all thanks for reading and enjoy your visit if you decide to:)

I ordered the crispy bagel roll, and crispy was right. It was like they cooked it in old oil. The roll tasted burnt and the pieces (8) were so small (thin) . For $13.50 for this roll I was very disappointed. On top of it, I ordered fried rice for my daughter and it was burnt tasting too! We will not be coming back unfortunately. I d prefer to spend $50 dinner on better sushi somewhere else!

My wife and I have been coming here for the past nearly two years, and every single time has been consistently wonderful. Michelle is incredibly kind, warm, and courteous, and she genuinely cares about providing great food and experiences to her customers. This has become our favorite date night spot, due to the food, BYOB (very fun - would recommend bringing Sake), and overall great experience. Everything we have tried, sushi and hot, has been fantastic. We will continue to come back time and time again, and highly recommend Tai Sushi House!

Nice and cozy atmosphere. It s a small shop, so come with a good attitude and empathy! Michelle does literally everything and works so hard! We love this place so much. Plus BYOB is so fun :) bring sake for an extra level of tailored experience.

This is a BYOB establishment. Upon seeing how hot and tired we were, the waitress (I do not know her name unfortunately) offered us a table and some water. To her knowledge, we were not paying customers, and she still gave us a table and water. Due to her generosity, we decided to order some food. Thank you for the great service! When the food finally came, my order was wrong so I had to wait even longer for them to fix it. When it came out the second time, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the lobster roll and there were barely any lobster in it. All I tasted was thick fried batter. Another negative is the price. The price here for this dish compared to other places is more expensive. Such a waste of money. I am rating this place a 2 star since my son seemed to like his fried rice.

My hubby ordered salmon sushi, the size of the sushi is like pinky-size thin. My hubby took the food back and complained to the owner, he argued that s the normal size... I also ordered two other separate entrees, but they squeezed both into one to-go container. The food size of the both entrees is being compromised while I paid the full price for both. Don t understand why they assumed we are sharing the food? The owner should save their cost else where, but definitely not on their quality and quantity. We will never return to this place...

Honestly, just okay. We got a takeout order with two sushi rolls, chicken katsu, and tempura cheesecake. The sushi was pretty good, kind of like the sushi you can get at Kroger or Market Street though. Decent, but not mind-blowing. The chicken katsu, however, was inedible. If they had put it in a styrofoam container or something breathable it may have survived, but it was packed down so tightly on top of rice in a plastic container that once we got home (five minute drive) it had become so soggy that the breading had all fallen off and there was no amount of crisp left whatsoever. It was rubbery and gross. The tempura cheesecake however was fabulous and we wished we had ordered two pieces, so that boosts my review. I dont want to give up on this place because the sushi wasnt bad and the value is good, but we will probably skip the takeout since it isnt packed great and try visiting again once Covid-19 has deemed it safe.

Been here a few times now and I do recommend the Lava and CR rolls which are the deep fried ones. The raw sushi stuff here is also really fresh and nicely sized too. The rice is well seasoned and doesnt fall apart like some other sushi places. I definitely like Tai Sushi House.

We have been coming here for many years. Service is friendly & good. Food is great. They have many Vegan options & I m so grateful. Small restaurant, they get super busy especially on weekends, so I suggest making a reservation for special occasions & weekends. They are open on Mondays when most places are closed. Closed on Tuesdays though. BYOB.

Love this little sushi joint. Might give it 5 stars but I have only visited twice and experienced a small amount of the menu. However, what I did get tasted very good and fresh.

Just had lunch special today, we ordered one Sushi Lunch Box and one Sashimi Lunch box, each $14 so we spent $30 + tip. For Sushi box, there are only 3pcs Sushi. For Sashimi box, there are only 3pcs Sahsimi. How can you guys call it as Sushi/Sashimi menu? Even the size of each sashimi is same with my sons thumb. Even we had all things in the box, so still hungry. We had to go Mc Donald again! Comparing with other sushi house, those lunch boxes should be $9 or less. $14 is way much higher, if you want to keep the price, need to add more Sushi/Sashimi, salad at least. Totally wasted my money and time!

Unfortunately the pictures they have on the menu is deceiving of using actual seafood when truly they stuff each roll with cream cheese, and mayo. The volcano roll does not look like menu nor does it taste like what it should. The entire roll was just a California roll with globs of mayo and mushroom, few scallops that was on there had an odor! They didn t put sriracha mix w the sauce to make it look like the picture on the menu. We had one bite abc so unacceptable.I tried this restaurant a few times to determine other foods on the menu is worthwhile but majority of rolls is drenched with sauce. The appetizer is a little better like salmon crown if u like sashimi w generous crab and lemon. The Asian lady who Serves has the waitress must be the owner because she kept on justifying why the food of being poorly cooked and why it didn t look like the pictures.

I live about 30 minutes away from TaiSushi House and it is worth the drive every single time. Fresh, great variety of rolls, as well as a variety of other meals for non-sushi lovers. The stuffed mushrooms are a must. We had the dream, autumn, and 5 star rolls that were fantastic. You have to try it.

Ive never had better sushi anywhere. Sushi House has a large dine in menu full of fantastic choices and they still accommodated my request for what was essentially a custom lobster roll. The food is pricey but its not a debate as to if its worth it or not. Ingredients were just about as fresh as fresh gets. A tight little shop with great lighting, reasonably comfortable seating, and music for the ambiance. My only issue was with seeing a younger employee, during lunch hours, kick his shoes off and lay down in the corner of the restaurant. All in all still a highly recommended place.

Recently, I have ordered catering menu for party of 8 with sushis and rolls and so forth. Then found out the quality of food is very disappointing. Rice was tough, rolls were not tightened enough, sushi was not fresh and flavorful. So I talked to one of the servers later on and found that the ownership has been changed and now this restaurant is under the different owner and chef. Beware of this restaurant as this is different restaurant from the previous owner and food quality is very low.
