I love Aqua Tots everyone is so nice and helpful. After every class the instructor takes the time to give each parent a verbal progress report. I also love he app that allows me to pay, cancel or reschedule a class or even track progress at my convince. My child is 3 now but she has been going since she was 2. My baby loves her classes and her teachers. They also heat the pool and the pool area which keeps my baby loves. I highly recommend Aqua Tots to any one who asks.

All the staff here are amazing but namely the front desk staff as well as coach Faith! My daughter absolutely loved her ! We did , the fast track, which just ended today coach Faith was consistently there and extremely knowledgeable and encouraging . My daughter is a child who needs to be comfortable with her instructor in order to perform and she gained that by day 2. She did so well that she advanced a level in just two weeks . Needless to say, we are making the switch we were at Goldfish swim before and literally for 3 to 4 months Every week there was a different instructor at goldfish swim which was a disappointment for us. We are so happy with aqua tots and looking forward to continued growth here with our daughter!

While my granddaughter is doing well and loves the lessons, I wish someone would pick up the phone, been calling all day and either says double button not pushed is an incorrect response or the phone just rings when you think you are being transferred to someone. It is beyond irritating.

Do not entrust Aqua Tots Missouri City with your young toddlers. My 2 year old son is now traumatized from having his head submerged repeatedly by the swimming instructors. He made it clear that he was uncomfortable with submersion. They did it anyway, not once but over and over despite the fact that he was crying, and then they did nothing to comfort him. Rest assured, my son does not want to return to Aqua Tots ever again. He had been really enjoying swimming up to this point but now is afraid to return to the water. When I called to cancel my Aqua Tots membership, the employee on the phone did not seem interested when I told her my son left traumatized from his last class. I then sent an email to Aqua Tots to which they have not responded, which shows me how little they care about how they can improve their services.

There s a swimming program for the kids, with the corresponding skills to develop. One teacher takes care of 3 kids, so they receive a lot of attention and it s also possible to get individual lessons. Swim gears to buy available. The parents can watch the lessons. There is a changing room with lockers. No shower.

My daughter started about 4 months ago and so far so good! The coaches are very patient with her! My child is becoming more confident in the water and looks forward to her swim lessons weekly! She was showing me or trying to show me what she learned! Lol! Special shout out to coach Petro, Coach Skylar, Coach Kayla and Coach Faith, we only had one class with her, but she was so encouraging to my little! All the coaches are great, but these are the ones we have interacted with the most!

We started at AquaTots in mid April. Initially, I thought it was small and a little outdated in comparison to other swim schools, but after doing a trial and interacting with staff, we signed up immediately. Im liking everything about the school so far but I especially love the fact that the coaches come out after each class to let us know how our kids did in class that day. The coaches are so patient with the kids and my 3 year has already made a lot of progress in just over a month. We were at another swim school from Aug 2021 to Aug 2022 but constant staff changes made it hard for her to get comfortable and advance in her skills. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly and after doing trials at other swim schools, we know we made the right choice. Coach Alysse at the front desk is so knowledgeable and helpful and my daughter absolutely loves her Coach Destiny.

My daughter is five and we originally were at Pengu swim school but things were only pretty but the staff kept changing and there wasnt anything for the kids to play with bc they were put away all the toys due to covid and never came back out. They eliminated the family swim nights on Fridays and open swim during the lunch hour. She started there at 18 months and isnt where she should be. Here shes happy to come and eager come daily if the pocket book would allow it. The place is the opposite. My initial thought was that the dressing rooms looked like a community center. Pool too small but when you meet the staff they make up for those things and theyre what matters most. I love it here and after trials at other swims schools between myself and my friend... we both choose yall. Lastly Id like to add that the pool deck manager is very involved. Always helping other instructors be their best and Ive even seen her sweeping. Most in higher positions are not as humble. She stands out!

My two boys attended AT for approximately 9 months before we made the switch to Pengu. Three stars given because there was undeniable learning and improvement from start to finish and the staff was always nice. We took advantage of the BOGO deal (which seems to be running at all times) and my two boys did semi-private lessons together. Compared to Pengu, there is a greater value at AT than Pengu with this deal: we are getting 1/2 the lesson time for almost the same price at Pengu as a comparison. I didn t think it was a five start experience for 2 main reasons: primarily because the turnover at this location is unreal. Over the period of time when we attended, we had approximately 6 different regular instructors and several more fill ins. It is made clear when signing up that coach changes occur, but I think the frequency of which it s happening is unreasonable. When we first began, they had several young adult instructors there who were PHENOMENAL with kids and they have all left. The coaching staff that existed upon our departure were all nice, but definitely not as skilled as working with young kids as when we first began. Additionally, AT doesn t have the same commitment to safety as Pengu as demonstrated by there being no deck supervisor or additional lifeguard present during lessons, potentially because of the inability to hire enough people. As a comparison, at Pengu, there is an instructor in each lane conducting a lesson and always at least 1 non-coaching individual on the pool deck (life guard). At AT, I felt like I had to vigilantly watch my kids because there are no other safety individuals present. The second reason for the lesser star rating is purely aesthetic. We attended Wolfies Swim School in Houston prior to AT and now having Pengu as a comparison, there is no question that AT is more of the Plain Jane option. For some kids, this may not matter. For my kids, they walk into Pengu, which is large, bright, colorful, thematic, joyous, welcoming and clean and they are excited to be there! AT just does not have the same aesthetic value that elicits excitement and joy (especially for young kids).

Clean facility. Greeting by reception was barely a greeting. The instructor did nothing to warm into meeting my child or any other child in this intro class. When I chatted with the manager about how I could prep my son for the classes (either group or one on one) and even said that the instructor didn t do anything wrong, my son just needs to warm up a little with my help, I was just trying to ask what a good plan of action was, she just said, Ok. And then said nothing. I asked if there were any instructors that were good for warming kids into swimming or working with kids that were a little more fearful at first and she said, bluntly, we don t offer specific instructors. So, they clearly are only interested in farming kids through their program, not the relationship with the kids or the customer. She wasn t warm, almost antigonistic, waiting for a complaint from me (that never came), and then when I said, I think maybe I should look into a school that s more specialized and personal maybe? Really not saying anything negative, just waiting for the we have someone! Or something! We can make it work :) instead she said, OK. Never. Again. Gave a 2 because the facilities were deceivingly welcoming. Oh well.

My son has been going to this location for 5 months now and he loves it! The staff is very welcoming and greets my son by name! The instructors work well with the kids and are very patient. We have been a part of aqua tots family for nearly 5 years now. My son learnt swimming as a toddler there first, now he is in a swim team. Then, we enrolled our daughter and she is enjoying swimming too. The staff are always helpful. For the first few classes, even of the child is jittery, I have always seen a coach working with that child. The place is clean as well.

We have had a great experience with Aqua Tots over the past few years. My 2 older children have learned to swim there and my 3 year old is currently taking classes once a week. His instructor, Ryan, is great with the little ones. Ryan quickly got my son acclimated to the water and putting his face/ears underwater. After 4 short months, my son is getting rings off the bottom of the pool, is floating on his back with little assistance and is swimming short distances on his own. He loves going to class! The facilities have always been clean and tidy in my experience; we attend at low volume times, usually on weekday mornings. Class times are convenient and their teaching method seems to work. I like that make-up classes are available at no cost for classes that you cancel at least 30-minutes ahead of time. I personally have had no issues with reschedules. The one con that comes to mind is that their instructors could use more clear training in how to effectively manage recurring discipline and distraction problems that may occur from other students (or your own child) in the class. Having parents stick there head in to correct their child is not value-added either, is an added distraction, and rarely works. In my opinion, the instructors and the facility should take more authority in managing issues in their swim class not only for safety but to protect the interest of others in the class. Having kids temporarily sit out and/or be removed from class, in extreme circumstances, may at times be appropriate...I have rarely ever seen that done here. Most of the time I see instructors spending too much time trying to convince or repeatedly ask certain kids to behave, with little results. Frankly, I have just learned to avoid certain class times where I know a continually disruptive child is enrolled, so for me this issue has been minimized. Houston Swim Club, which I have also used and liked well in the past, is stronger in this area comparatively. Overall, I would recommend this facility as a good option for having your child learn to swim. 4 stars.

I had enrolled both my sons for the swim classes at this facility and even after 9 months, I was not satisfied with the teaching.It was an absolute waste of money and worst of all, they were supposed to have 3 make up classes, 2 for the christmas break and one for a pool malfunctioning.I stopped their classes and technically they were to assign 3 of the make up classes but gave only 2 and said that their system does not show it as three, while it was only a month back that they got their new software in place.What made me the most disappointed was that the Manager was so unprofessional and was least interested in even listening to me.I would never recommend anyone to this place.Have had a very bitter experience.

Their make up policy is not functional or geared towards the population they serve....kids! And it seems to change depending on who answers the phone. Things come up with kids, they get sick, take naps, etc. If the service is paid in full you should be able to schedule make ups when/if needed. Additionally their customer service and administrative skills needs a complete overhaul! I just wasted 20 min of my life going back and forth with the manager explaining my son was not there last week. Apparently he must have a twin though cause he was not marked absent from the class and and she claimed dad brought him in! How infuriating! I was with both of them at the time of the class and KNOW my son missed the class do we really need to go back and forth on that! So because your method of marking kids absent or present is clearly flawed I cant schedule a makeup???!! That is RIDICULOUS! Lastly, the level of cleanliness in the facility is abhorrent! The floors, seats, glass, bathroom are all Filthy! Im glad ties have been severed and will not enroll anymore kids to this program. Beware of this place! Seems like a rip off!

All I can say is same curriculum for 6 months but different teachers. After reading the review here and not many option in our area I decided to enroll my 1 year old son here. Its been 6 months we has been doing the same thing he was 6 months ago. We asked to move to level 2 and the the front desk said sure if you would like to so they have no proper direction or idea when a student moves up. Not going here any more. Oh and the hidden annual fees which the manager said she will not return even if I cancel in January.

I love this Aqua Tots location. My daughter has been going here since March at 18 months old and she has progressed into a little swimmer. I love the front desk staff because they all know my daughter by name which is very impressive. The instructors are very nice but AJ is my favorite! He is the MASTER instructor! First of all, the make up policy is pretty ridiculous. My child is in level 1. I called in to cancel the class 20 minutes before the beginning of the class and they said I cannot reschedule. I asked to come just an hour later as my child was taking a nap ( and at this age their nap schedule is sometimes unpredictable). I am not going to take my fussy child in to the pool as noone is going to enjoy the experience. They said I called too late. I DID NOT KNOW my child would be fussy and need a nap 24 hours in advance. Sorry. Also, my other child in level 3. Sometimes there is no discipline in the class among 4 toddlers. The instructor was not trying to be strict with the kids and did not remind them about the safety. Instead the kids were just playing and it was becoming dangerous. So, the instructor was doing some exercises with my child and my child start swallowing the water. The instructor was distracted by other kids and not paying attention to my child. In the end, I ran to my child to get her out of the water as she was going under. After that she was terrified of water for more than two months. Bad experience. The instructors turn over ratio is so high that we had 5-7 different instructors in just 5 months.

My son loves aqua-tots! The instructors are great. Classes are fun. The BIG negative is that management doesnt in force policy not to leave your belongs in the fitting rooms while youre not changing. So when your kid come out of the pool freezing you have to wait for a room although nobody is occupying it - so stupid!

My son has been attending swim class at Aqua-Tots for some time now and we have definitely seen improvement. The instructors are really great at what they do, and patient when dealing with rowdy toddlers! The administrative staff are friendly and understanding when you need to change dates or schedule make up classes. My son loves swim class. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking at options for swimming instruction in the area. It is money well spent.

My child, who is 5 years of age, did not do well in this school. He spent quite some time, 6 months, at this school and showed little improvement. The instructors were really nice, but they did not focus on areas that needed to be improved. Since he was in a group class, the lessons were tailored for the group. So, individual attention was not specifically focused on him. I would have seen more progress had I opted for the individual classes. When I complained about my childs progress, the manager did try to resolve the issue, which was very honorable. I would recommend this school for an older more focused child. For younger children, I would recommend individual lessons. I still believe that the lessons were not worth the price and the extra fees. I wish this school all the best but am very happy with my decision to leave. I hope my review was helpful and am sure every childs experience will ultimately be different no matter where they attend. My child did not benefit from the lessons at Aqua-Tots but that doesnt mean your child wont have success.

Aqua-Tots is great! My 5 yr. old loves it and looks forward to his lesson every week! He had been receiving occupational therapy and this has been a fantastic addition to that! Coaches are patient and caring. Thanks Aqua-Tots!

Patrick started his swimming lessons Aqua-Tots just before he turned 1. My main purpose in enrolling him was water safety. We had just moved to Missouri City in August and purchased a house with a pool. I was so worried that, being the mischevious little boy that he is, he would have no fear if he came face to face (and alone) with the pool.... I always lock the door and lock the top latch but I have heard so many stories that did not end well. The transition that he has already made is remarkable. In only five months - he can now blow bubbles, put his face in the water, kick independantly and crawl along the ledge of the pool. He is getting strong enough now that soon he will be able to pull himself out unasisted. Patricks coach, Bethanny, is a fantastic teacher and his little face lights up everytime we come in for our lesson. That means a lot to me because it reassures me that we are there to do something that he really enjoys! I look forward to many, many more swim lessons at Aqua-Tots! Corissa

My three year old son was afraid of the water and after sveral attempts to get him to swim in our swimming pool, he did not make any progress. Last Month I was shopping at Kroeger in Missouri City and saw the Aqua Tots signs which looked brand new. I went in and spoke to the staff and they were amazing and gave me great information and I enrolled him in the toddler program. In just two weeks I saw a remarkable change in his confidence level and he begs me to take him to our pool to go swimming. He has started to Dog paddle without fear and I can see the improvement daily. The staff at this location is exceptionally friendly and patient and my kid loves it there. I would highly recommend the Aqua Tots for anyone who wants his Kid to be the next Michael Phelps :-) Or at least we can try right !
