Wunsche Bros is a great place to stop for a home cooked style meal and a strong drink. You can feel the history in this building, saloon, brothel, hotel. The upstairs is open on the weekend with live music. I had the chicken fried chicken and squash casserole, both were delicious. Jackie, our bartender, was attentive and helpful with our questions about the menu. Great stop if youre in Old Spring!

Dinner here at Wunsche s is always a great time! Food is excellent, environment and ambience is always great, especially the historicity of the building itself, and always great service and tonight was no exception and our waitress Alexis was great! Came here for a Family friends birthday dinner. The host of the night was extremely attentive, making sure we were okay and keeping our table tidy. Kara and Jazzy had a great attitude and made sure my table had full drinks each time they passed by. Overall they had an amazing attitude even with the amount of people they had to take care of. Such a cute place to have a dinner with friends or family. I wish to visit again on my own time and would highly recommend !!

We love coming to Old Town Spring and eating at Wunsche Bros! It s been a favorite of mine since I was little. Our server Khalil also known as the jazz guy was an excellent server and great with my kids! The food was outstanding as always! The servers and bartenders that helped us had such a positive attitude and seamed to really enjoy their job. The GM Mark Holmes stopped by out and shared some really cool stories and then took us on a tour of the restaurant. Highly recommended if you want excellent food, with some of the best hospitality in the area.

Great atmosphere indoors, outdoors, & overall location on the corner of Old Town Spring! Ample seating & hefty servings of delicious food with a range of options (definitely leave room for the whiskey bourbon cake). Took a friend here from out of town for her first experience of Spring & was delighted by all the staff who interacted with us. You can tell they enjoy working here through their teamwork, interactions with customers, & seeing little things like them singing along to the music (which is the perfect listening volume). As a musician & someone also working in the service industry, its these indicators of a good work environment that make me want to return as a customer. Special shout-out to Kahlil; he was warm, knowledgeable, & took our complicated service to the next level. Highly recommend as a spot for the area!

Im in love with this place! Love the historic feel yet the modern farmhouse feel. The corn elote is amazing and service with Morgan was awesome! She was so great with my young boys at made us feel so welcomed. My only critique would be that the main dish was overly salted, but otherwise delicious. We had the chicken fried steak. I love this place. Very welcoming. From greeters to servers to management. We went for our DIL birthday. Our group was fairly large, 16 of us. Our servers, Kaleb and Angelo were outstanding. The rating I have given this establishment is for the food and service we received. What was a SHOCK to me was their restrooms. One entrance, both ladies and gentlemen, entry and use the same restroom. They have the stalls named ladies and gentlemen, but we all were in the same restroom. I give that a 1 Star. I will probably never return to this establishment. I have informed a number of my friends and family that choose not to spend their money in this type of establishment. Too bad all eles was good. Parking: Street parking is always the worst. Can always park across the street very close to the railroad tracks. No designated parking area.

My best friend and I came down to Old Town Spring to do a little shopping and once we were finished looking around we decided to try the Wunsche Bros on a whim and let me tell you we were not disappointed! All the staff we met were super friendly and our server JASON WAS INCREDIBLE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!! Jason had an amazing personality and was full of knowledge about the history of the building! We loved interacting with him and learning about the history of Old Town Spring, I had no idea it had a paranormal history. The food was absolutely mouth watering, I haven t had a great meal like that in a long time. We ordered the Chicken Friend Chicken, mashed potatoes and a side order of macaroni and cheese. The chicken fried chicken was tender and crispy, the mashed potatoes were absolutely delectable and the Mac and cheese was so creamy! I will recommend this to anyone looking for a new spot to eat out! I have never written a review this long about a restaurant so that should say everything you need to know! GO TRY IT!!

the BEST food, great atmosphere, and 10/10 service! Jason was incredible, letting us know the history of the building and the saloon, as well as advising us on the menu. three words. sauerkraut. sausage. balls. INCREDIBLE! the beer bread was like eating cake and the burger was big and delicious. a cannot miss place in Spring!

We absolutely loved Wunsche Bros Cafe & Saloon!! Not only was the atmosphere and the history something to behold, but the food was out of this world and the service was on point perfection!! Ari was our server and she went above and beyond her call of duty. Not only did she do a superb job as a waitress, she also did a superb job as a tour guide after our meal! Bravo! Very well done!! I had a buddy of mine at work recommend Wunsche s and went that same night. It was good but i didn t think it was great for the price. I got the fried green tomatoes to start which were excellent, they do them a little different than other places and the tomato based sauce they include with it pairs really well. For the entree I chose the salmon and was a little disappointed, the parts of it that had the sauce were pretty good but the other parts were a little dry for me. The portion size was also a little lacking for me, I may not have been full if I hadn t had the tomatoes. For dessert I got the chocolate cake and it was good but not amazing. It has a cool story attached to it about how it started during the prohibition. Great waitress, cool location with some history. But it is on the pricey side $70 all in with the tip. I d recommend checking it out if you re in the area but I wouldn t drive too far for it personally.

Went for lunch with a retired co-worker that drove up from the downtown area. Server Alec greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Food and service was excellent and we will be back! Vegetarian options: Salads are terrific - large and filled with veggies, avocado, black beans, corn, etc. My daughter is vegan and we are always looking for area options. There is no need to add meat.

The restaurant still smelled of smoke from when it caught on fire years before. The floors were very uneven and I had to be very careful when walking. The bathroom is a wide open space, shared by both men and women. I found that to be a little weird and pretty scary sending my teenage daughter in there alone.
