I binged this law groups podcast, twice!! So much useful information. Im going thru some custody issues with a non parent and if I could get Holly I would but I live in a different county. She did offer a referral of someone I never heard of but seems to be exactly what I need. Fingers crossed. Go listen to the podcast , for real!

I went with Holly Draper because she was highly rated on a FB page I follow. I never once met her or spoke to her, but I was billed weekly for her, her associate, and the paralegal. I wouldnt say my divorce was complicated, it was pretty straightforward, but it took forever. It ended up costing way more than anyone else I know and who had much more complicated cases. I was months into the process when I got the feeling things are being drug out on purpose just to get more money. The last couple of months, I wouldnt even ask questions or speak up about changes I wanted because it would cost me so much more money. I am giving 3 stars because I did end up divorced, Im the custodial parent, and I kept my house. Im certain things would have ended the same with a lot of other attorneys that maybe work faster and for a lot less money.

This firm will drain you of thousands and I mean thousands of dollars and when they drain you of every dime you have, they will drop you. Do NOT trust this firm, literally paid 30,000.00 and never once met anyone representing me and I requested to meet them more than once. Each week you get billed thousands and it never ever stops. Once they see you are not selling your home, or you have no assets or money they are out. Please do not trust these people. Not to mention going through a divorce is one of the most stressful and painful chapters in your life, they have zero compassion/empathy the only thing they are concerned with is getting as much money as they can before you realize it. Then boom you are dropped by them.

Was charged a lot more than anyone i know. And they seemed to want to help out the other party more than me. My new lawyer actually has my back. Brandi charged me a lot of money and she assisted the other party instead. They mustve forgot that i am the one who paid them. I noticed other people say they are quick to bill and they are. Felt like i was getting a bill about every weekend of 1000 dollars. Dont waste your money or time

I see family law attorneys from a little different perspective. Their performance shows up in things like how well the final settlement accommodated (or, in some cases, sabotaged) a clients ability to obtain financing. I can tell you that Holly Draper and her associates are SUPER attentive to all of these issues. Some would even call them ancillary issues. But, the lawyers at The Draper Firm consider nothing ancillary. To them, it is all very important. I am very impressed with how well they take care of their client. Hollys legal expertise is a given. In that, she is unsurpassed. In fact, she has become a recognized authority in the Texas Family Law arena.

I have been in a high conflict custody case for 14 years now. I have had to hire multiple lawyers throughout the years and Holly Draper far exceeds any attorney I have ever hired or experienced. Hiring the wrong attorney can be extremely costly. I don t care what the hourly rate is. If your money is mismanaged it can cost you significantly more than hiring a more expensive attorney who knows how to do their job quickly and effectively. I quickly received bills of what had been used in my retainer with very clear explanations of how my retainer was used. I received email updates on what she was working on with my case so I didn t have to sit at home and stress that it was being worked on. With family law due to court room time restraints it s important to find the most appropriate facts to present in a case. When you are concerned about your children s well-being it can be very emotional. During my phone interviews Holly never interrupted me while I gave her details that I felt were important regarding my case. I felt heard. She then gave a clear and honest expectation of what she felt needed to be used and what I should expect as possible outcomes. During the hearing Holly showed to be fully prepared for my case. She thoroughly read all of my case documents and was prepared with appropriate case law to back up arguments. I am so beyond impressed with Holly and recommend her without hesitation. Thank you Holly for helping to keep my children safe. I will forever appreciate your attention to detail, hard work and efforts on our case.

Had a consultation with Brandi. She was uninterested and acted as if she could not be bothered. She was only interested in explaining the fee structure. She gave the impression even after we paid a retainer that we wouldn t be dealing with her, only her assistant. I would not recommend this firm. We called another firm and had a way better experience.

Holly helped me in a case to educate the judge on the current state of the law resulting from a case Holly argued, and won, in the Texas Supreme Court. That particular point of law is very complex and extremely confusing, even to the most experienced and knowledgeable lawyers and judges, and she was successful in this case as she usually is. Holly is an excellent attorney and a good person. She literally dropped what she was doing so to speak to help me on my case. I cant speak highly enough of her, and her legal abilities and knowledge. Anyone would be fortunate to have Holly represent them.

Very poor value. I paid $50 for a consultation for 30 minutes. Basically took her less than 3 minutes to tell me that she would not help me at all unless I paid her $350 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours to look at a document that would take less than 30 minutes and 5 pages. I felt scammed and taken advantage of. I would not recommend as they are not upfront with their pricing. The legal assistant who called me the day before could have told me all this in advance.

I was brought into a legal issue in the middle of last year, between COVID, social injustice, heated politics and the resulting survival state of my mind I missed the hearing and my case went into default, which I regret. I used Holly Draper 4 years ago to modify my custody and as life would have it, we had to go thru the battle again this year. In a year of the unknown with Covid, court dates changing, etc - I knew that the only person I could count on to take care of my family and I would be Holly and her team. Holly connected me with an amazing attorney on her team, Sarah Marrone. Sarah was beyond attentive and would respond to me right away. She was kind, patient and even helped me with a separate question that I had with the Attorney General office. She didnt mind my babbling or my continuous emails - she actually welcomed it. How many family law attorneys can say they argued at the Texas Supreme Court and won? Holly Draper can say that and she took down a fancy high priced firm from the city. Holly was my attorney for about 3 years. We both wish it was a shorter term. However, Holly and her team fought for me successfully all the way to the Texas Supreme Court. In these 3 years she was a voice of reason, clarity, and set proper expectations of the road ahead. At no point did she ever over promise and under deliver. With Holly you get a seasoned attorney and someone who has been there done that. She s honest about your options and isn t going to sugar coat anything. When we appeared in court, Holly was very well prepared, organized, laser focused, and knew the details of the case extremely well; she didn t hold back in court. Holly is also an amazing writer. I was very impressed with her ability to write lengthy briefs that were on point and clear. Holly was also able to coordinate multiple outside organizations to support our position and bring light to our case. Her connections were critical. This is no easy task and navigating these waters can be a struggle. Holly and her team are also different from other attorneys. They care, they fight the good fight, and they don t have huge egos. I would highly recommend Holly Draper. Two of my exes got together and tried to take my kids away. I hired a lawyer prior to Holly and she stated I had to wait to get my daughter back until the hearing 12 days later. Thankfully I got a second opinion from Holly. I contacted Draper Firm on a referral from a friend. I was in a hurry to get some custody paperwork done because my Mom had just passed and I needed to get my granddaughter added to my insurance ASAP. After my consultation, there was no question that I would use them. I gave Holly all of the information and she ran with it. She was very personable and professional and kept me updated every step of the way. The Draper Law Firm is 100% the absolute BEST law firm that I have ever retained! I will never be able to express how thankful I am for Attorney Holly Draper and her diligent, extremely timely and very knowledgeable help with my high conflict, 4 year long child custody battle. Ms. Draper immediately began working my case with very limited knowledge of the full spectrum of my case, since it included almost 4 years of detail that she had not represented me during. In less than a business week, Ms. Draper not only examined my case in depth to familiarize herself with the details, she also drafted (unbelievably well) the motion we decided to present to the court.
