I did a phone consultation with Dr. George, which made it more convenient for me because I am handicapped and it s sometimes difficult for me to get in the car and travel to an office. She reviewed my test results and I was able to ask questions that she was Able to answer and give me some insight as to the challenges that I m having. I would definitely recommend Dr. George as a family physician. She s very knowledgeable. She takes her time with The patient and make sure that the one is completely completely satisfied with the answers given.

Dr. never discussed any health issues/concerns and only changed amount of Bp med after a told her it had my pressure too low. I learned of these when reading the writeup of our appointment. After googling several terms therein for definitions, it was apparent that diagnoses were based on old lab tests. Minimal interaction between us; all time consumed by computer.

The doctors are great, especially if youre 45 or older. Dont wait until youre too old before seeing doctors that specialize in aging so you can prevent some things. Having said that, the reason theyre getting 4 out of 5 is because it takes too long to get an appointment with anyone.

The entire experience was very good. The front desk staff was helpful and welcoming. Dr George was thorough and not in a rush and I felt like she asked all the right questions. Dr.George and the NP were lacking in patient care in terms of understanding the mental anguish that seniors experience as they age. Their approach to care was insensitive and jolting. Writing on a note to my mom: Hospice recommended. I understand that there is no cure for failing bodies but I do think being sensitive to need and mental state could have been handled differently. Having private conversations with family members instead of telling the patient their life is over.

I waited 6 months to get a new patient appointment and loved Dr. Eklund on my initial visit. She was knowledgeable, she listened to my concerns and I was very impressed with her. Then when I got sick on two different occasions, she was booked out for a week and unable to see me both times, as were the PAS in her office. They suggested both times that I go to urgent care to see someone-- Really? Whats the point of having a doctor if they cannot see you when you are sick. Dont waste your tine. Must be accepting way to many new patients, and then cannot take care of them..so disappointed as I heard so many goid things about her.

Dr S. George is very thorough and a good listener. I think she is a competent PCP for older patients. However, her Nurse Practitioners should not be overseeing total patient care of patients over age 65. One Nurse Practitioner in this office failed to investigate fully symptoms I reported for 3 months, resulting in acute severe pain and a costly visit to the ER. When an NP can t diagnose a patient s symptoms they are legally bound to consult with the physician whose license they practice under. This NP did not and missed a serious diagnosis.

The conduct of front desk employees plays a crucial role in shaping the overall experience of customers and significantly impacts the reputation of a business. Unfortunately, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the front desk employees when I urgently needed medical data to advocate for my parent. Despite corresponding with Dr. Gomez and his nurse for a week and having an MPOA, Donna at the front desk denied me access to the records I needed, claiming that my MPOA needed to be notarized. I was taken aback by her response since the MPOA had two witness signatures, which had worked fine at multiple hospitals and a cardiologists office. Still, she refused to give me the records. Even after returning with my durable power of attorney, Donnas lack of empathy and professionalism was disappointing. Despite what I told her, that the records were ready and in the drawer, she examined my papers like she was a judge, sought a second opinion, and said it would take weeks for them to be delivered. As she handed me papers with a hateful smile said Merry Christmas words were exchanged. The other employees joined in with vindictive anger, and one of them condescendingly said mam to me. The atmosphere was hostile, making a simple request feel like a battle. Moreover, when I returned to retrieve my keys, which I had forgotten on the counter, four women stood in a huddle and did not ask if I needed anything else. My keys were found in the office but not until 45 minutes of searching in my car, two additional trips to find them, and asking if any keys had been returned but only one of them said no. One of them came outside waved the keys and remarked, If not for your attitude towards Donna, you would have gotten help As a customer, I was not given the necessary assistance, and instead, was blamed for the employees shortcomings. Businesses must train their employees to provide excellent customer service, especially in sensitive situations like this. This type of behavior is intolerable. I urge the management to take this matter seriously and ensure that such incidents do not occur again. Customers should feel valued and respected, and their requests should be handled with empathy and professionalism. It will be my duty to convince my parent to change PP. I never want to deal with the same staff again!

I d leave no stars if I could. My mother, who is battling dementia, was unable to see Dr George for some serious issues, either because Dr George was too busy or because Dr George canceled the appointments. My mother is in the hospital now, receiving care she needs, but it may very well be too late. Do not trust your loved ones to Dr George.

Dr. George has been my primary care physician for a couple of years now, and she is great. Her and her nurse David have always been professional, informative, and kind. The whole staff listens to my medical complaints and make good recommendations about my care that I understand.The administrative personnel at the front desk are wonderful they always answer the phones and relay messages to the medical staff. They are also very organized and helpful. Georgetown Adult Clinic is a nice place for adults 55 and older to receive medical care.

Because I didnt have an appointment and I had a health issue that needed quick attention, I went to a nearby Urgent Care clinic. They said that I needed to go to my PC for my issue and that they couldnt handle it. So I went to my PCs office, assuming I wouldnt be seen then, but they worked me in and took care of me within 30 min. It was a huge relief that I was seen, and the next steps were in motion. My previous primary care doctor retired and I found Dr. Eklund to be a good repacement. In my first visit with her she asked all the right questions, listened to my concerns, and showed respect in answering my questions. I would recommend her to others.

The staff was very friendly; however, after I had labs done, no one from the office, including the doctor, ever called to discuss the results with me (and 3 levels were out of normal). I dont think Ill return. Update: the doctor did finally call and offer some advice after the above review was posted. She was friendly and informative.

While I like and respect Dr. Gomez, it is increasingly difficult to obtain an appointment when you have an actual illness. In my opinion, a doctor is needed when you are sick, not just when you are well. The usual answer given here is Go to Urgent Care.

Dr. Eklund was a great listener and addressed all of my concerns and asked questions to determine appropriate health tests and vaccines I would need. Very thorough and friendly. This was my first visit and I will definitely stay with this doctor as she was knowledgeable and proactive.

You always get treated well at the Georgetown Center For Adult Medicine. The staff is always cordial, efficient and professional. Once you are checked in, the wait is very short and you get called and head back to a room and vitals are taken and next thing you know, here comes the Doctor. You are never rushed by the Doctor, they answer any and all questions and go over you problem, prescribe medication or treatment and you are on your way. You can get your lab work done there, as well. I definitely recommend them for your family physician.

The easy of scheduling a new patient appointment and helpfulness of the staff along with Dr. Gomez who had reviewed my medical records, listened carefully and an assessment where I could clearly understand what happening to my body.
