Just had an amazing dining experience at Taco Modern Fusion! We kicked off with a complimentary shrimp broth and tostadas, setting the perfect tone for the evening. For tacos, we indulged in grilled fresh shrimp and dorado fish alongside tacos de pulpos that were bursting with flavor. The drinks? Absolutely incredible! My favorite was the Mijenta Paloma, a refreshing mix of tequila, fresh lime juice, and grapefruit. My husband loved the Sacrificio de Amor, featuring hibiscus, lime juice, rosemary, and smoky mezcal. A special shoutout to our server Grace, who exemplified excellent customer service throughout our meal! And lets not forget dessert the coffee espresso and vanilla ice cream was simply divine! Dont miss their weekly daily specials and happy hour from 3-6 PM. If youre looking for a unique dining experience, this place is a must-visit!

Tacocean is definitely a spot I ll be returning to. The rib eye tacos are absolutely amazing tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They are definitely a standout item on the menu. The drink selection is also impressive, offering a variety of options that complement the food well. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, Tacocean delivers on both food and ambiance, making it a great place for a casual meal. I m already looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I ordered the clasico tacos plate, arroz con leche cake and ceviche tostada to go. The tacos were really big, had good flavor but the tortilla made the taco taste a little dry. The arroz con leche cake was not good at all. Its about the size of a cupcake. The rice was undercooked, there were so many little pieces of uncooked rice we didnt finish it. It was like eating a scoop of arroz con leche on top of a cookie. The ceviche tostada was really good. For $7 you get one tostada but they give you a good amount of ceviche that you can split it and get two tostadas out of it. It tasted really fresh and had big chunks of fish, and it wasnt really salty like other places. Overall we would visit again and look forward to trying other things on the menu.

I rarely post reviews, but the new breakfast box is an option that I would recommend for the office, friends and/or family. It s diverse enough for everyone, and even the pickiest eaters can eat something. The food tasted pretty well, my favorite was the French toast.

First time trying the food from here. I tried the new brunch boxes. If you re looking for a breakfast combo, then I would recommend. The breakfast colchones are not super greasy and they taste pretty good. The pancakes are just right and their french toast tastes amazing. Plus, they were able to deliver to the office in the morning. Definitely an office favorite now.

Been here a couple of times. Enjoy the fact that you can order different kinds of tacos. Everything is fresh and hot. They provide their version of complimentary chips and salsas and shrimp broth which has alot of flavor. We had the Mar y tierra, San Manuel, and Primo tacos. Other plate is 2 primo tacos and a patron taco. Everything is delicious but we tend to like the Primo tacos more. We didnt get it this time around but also recommend the Oysters a las Brasas?? So good!! Beautiful restaurant and service is always great.

The 5-Star service provided by Valerie was impeccable from start to finish. Valerie was gracious, knowledgable and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. Surprised by my request for her opinion regarding what she would order, she recommended the ribeye tacos, otherwise known on the menu as the gaucho tacos. After Valorie provided a selection of beverages with another eager smile, I chose a flask of the aqua de limon, which came accompanied with a variety of three superb salsas, baked tortillas and saltines. Unless a 5-Star Restaurant owner insists upon hiring her and Anna as a team I will most definitely return for the service with a date. Oh yeah, the Gaucho Tacos were moist, tender and tasty!

Absolutely loved my late dinner date here. The Ambiance here was great, service and friendliness was outstanding. My highlights were the complimentary shrimp broth, shrimp and octopus tacos and after I tasted my wifes Mariscada Tropical, I regretted not ordering that! A new fresh seafood favorite for us.

Overall experience was great. We took a chance having a birthday dinner celebration at a new restaurant we hadnt tried before, but it was worth the risk. First and foremost, service and ambience, A+. Friendly service, attentive, welcoming, joking, it felt like you were right at home in a dining room next to kitchen, loved it. Owner stopped by, asked how we were, really made you feel at home. Food was great, lots to choose from. I went with classic fish tacos and a paloma drink. Tacos could have used a little more sauce, but they brought me some extra sauce and all was good. Ana was just first class service all the way. My dad enjoyed his 66th Bday celebration, laughing and enjoying a good meal. Thank you!

We picked this place just to try something new, and were so glad we did. The service was wonderful. She really took the time to explain all the dishes and recommended a drink that was not on the menu but was so good. Unfortunately Ive forgotten what it was called, but Im sure it will be on there soon. We went with shareables so we could both try things. The Octopus tacos were great, but I just LOVED the mahi mahi al pastor. The salsas are definitely spicy so be prepared. The owner came out and spoke with us for a bit and made a fish take on a Cubano that was amazing! Love this place and we now have another place to add to our date night rotation.

We went last night as part of a party and never again. First and last time. NEVER and I mean NEVER again. I would rate it 0 if I could. We sat down (2 adults & 2 children) and they took us around an hour to bring us water. And when they did, we figured we better order our food. Well we ordered our food and waited and waited and nothing. We never got our food unfortunately. We waited almost 2 hours and left home with the food we were supposed to eat there in to go containers. 2 other family members also left without eating, they canceled their food because they never brought it and everyone else had already eaten. Service was horrible. The food wasn t worth the $80 we paid. I really wanted to like it but no. Never again.

Amazing food, amazing service, cool environment. 100% have to come back to continue trying all the different tacos they offer. Super creative, great presentation but above all amazing taste. You have to try it! The Rafafar, the Mariscada tostadas were a great start, then had the Cajun taco, and La Diabla x2 had to have another one (which in my eyes was spicy enough to enjoy w/o your mouth being on fire or your head pounding). Wife had the Ribeye with Shrimp which super well served, and the side of Esquite which were both Amazing. Staff super knowledgeable. Known the family for decades and I attribute my seafood addiction to them LOL The owner has decades of quality experience of some of the best seafood around!

Looking for something different, come try Tacoocean. The same owners from La Jaiba, have expanded into new territory. This is a must try place. Started off with a couple of drinks(El Diablito and Xoloitzcuintli), excellent flavor and not overly sweet. Complimentary sopa de camaron and as an appetizer the ostiones a la brasas(yum), followed by our entrees(lonches de ribeye and lonches de langosta). Lonches were served on a lightly toasted brioche bun, which was toasty on the outside and soft in the middle topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and overall great experience. Open until 11pm Fri and Sat. Traffic was really light here, so go on over and give it a try.

Great food set to the beautiful aesthetically pleasing modern minimalist nautical aesthetic. From the moment you arrive youre instantly greeted by well informed staff who are super helpful and knowledgeable offering a wealth of options and constant contact ensuring the quality of your experience throughout your dining. If the owner is in the building I recommend asking him what secret experiments hes been concocting they may not be on the menu yet, but theyll definitely make your meal all the more tasty. Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly options, and a staff willing to accommodate any needs. Wheelchair accessibility: The building and the ambiance itself make ease-of-access no issue not to mention the very welcoming service which will happily accommodate any needs.

RGV, We are so lucky to have a new place to enjoy DELICIOUS food. The concept is combination of traditional mexican food with delicious seafood. They start you with cold glass bottled water and a shrimp broth beautifully presented. I tried the special for Thursday, the tacos San Manuel ( San Manuel chorizo on a hand made corn tortilla with melted Oaxaca cheese, a bed of guacamole and three Texas gulf shrimp) with black beans. They brought us three salsas- a green salsa that was deliciously hot, a molcajete salsa that was mild and (my favorite) a mixed salsa of pico de gallo with habanero and hint of lime. From the time you walk into the restaurant, you feel relaxed, the decor is on point , the service is amazing and the food is worth your time!! You will want to come back soon.

My first time coming here! Our waitress was so incredibly sweet. She held the door for me while my hands were full with my baby and his car seat. The food was very good as well, definitely recommend the Friday special! Towards the beginning and end of our time at Tacocean we were approached by a young man who I believe was the owner, he made sure our experience was up to par! We will be visiting again!

Beautiful open modern place with delicious food and good service. This is a family business that specializes in top notch ingredients and great taste. If youre looking for lots of food for a low price, this aint it. But if youre looking for tastes you wont find elsewhere, you wont be disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the Gaucho ribeye taco and the Primo taco with poblano pepper. The ceviche is also very tasty, as are the oysters. Its a special occasion kind of place. Wheelchair accessibility: Both parking lot and the restaurant itself are easily wheelchair accessible.
