It was my first time here this past Friday night. My family and I arrived at 6:30 for a reservation. The place was absolutely packed and crawling with people. If they had a restaurant double the size, they have people waiting. I was very glad I made a reservation. Service was surprisingly quick, food was a good quality, and the meal was quite affordable. The only hesitation I will have returning is the crowd.

Food was dry and portion size was pretty small , first ever google review and signing in just to leave this review hoping the yakisoba would be better but it wasn t. More cabbage than chicken but maybe my expectations were set too high reading the other reviews. $15 for noodles and more than half is veggies that i didn t already eat.

First time here, I ve worked in the restaurant industry for years so I give lot of grace. First we found hair in my sister food,told the server and she brushed it off. The service was horrible , she had two other tables that she went and checked up constantly but not us. Then when she dropped off the bill it took her 10 minutes to come back to pick it up. Obviously we didn t leave 20% but I accidentally didn t write the total so as I left and walked to my car the server proceeded to run to me and give such an attitude and yelled at me to write the total, never has this happened to me, will never return.

I have given this place a chance a few times. When it s done right, the food is good. On two different occasions, there has been a problem with my food. First time, I found hair in my food. I said ok, things happen. I then decided to go back again another day only to be served shrimp fried rice with a side of dead bug. The employee tells me it s on the house and offers to remake my food. Now why would I want to eat anything else from there?! Never again will I go back!

Its always clean, the service is on point and food comes quickly. Their pad thai is eeeeh. It doesnt have a lot of true flavor. Their sushi is usually my go-to. Its fresh and they have a variety of specialty rolls. Pictured is the atomic roll (spicy salmon, jalapeno crab, avocado, shrimp tempura) - $12.95.

This was my kids favorite sushi restaurant many years ago and we went back for the first time in ten years. It was good but not great. We all enjoyed our food and you won t be disappointed if you go. Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian options and they are pretty tasty Parking: Parking is available but it is part of a strip mall so there is competition from patrons of other shops. There are enough spots but not all will be close to the restaurant.

I was excited to try this place as my friend had been many times and raved about it. The Sushi was excellent as well as the spring rolls and the drinks were strong, however the entree was sub-par. After the first bite of the pineapple shrimp fried rice it tasted odd. I took one additional bite to see if it perhaps it was that portion. It still tasted funny and I did not eat anymore. When the waitress did come back to check I told her that the rice tasted strange and if she could take it off. There was a language barrier so she got the manager. The manager came and said she could not take it off because they were a small business and if they did that it could put them out of business. She said if you had only taken one bite and told us right away I could have. When I pointed to the plate and asked her if it looked like I took more than 2 bites she said well I can take yours off but not my friends because she said it looked as if she had taken more than 2 bites but she had only mixed hers together because she had shrimp and chicken and offered her 50% off. She asked if the bills were together and we said separate. The waitress brought the bill back as one and when we told her it was separate she went and split them but then said she could no longer take my fried rice off but couod give is each 50%. I told the waitress the manager told me she was taking mine off and the waitress argued with me that the manager didnt say that. So she originally said since I only took 2 bites she would take it off but because the bill was split it could now be 50% off each. I asked so I am paying for something I didnt eat and I dont like. I asked them to remake it, which she said they did but I believe they just doctored up the original one and brought it back. Because it doesnt make sense to not take it off my bill but remake the whole dish which was 12.00. To make it, it cost about 4.50 so if you truly remade it you spent what you charged me at 50% off. I have never been somewhere that if you dont eat more than 2 bites and you dont like it that they wont take it off or offer something different in place of. Customers arent always right but if 2 people says something taste off maybe it is your cook. I will not be back.

To preface, I have been to Michelin starred and upscale sushi places, and this is one of my guilty pleasure places. With that being said however, a lot of things could be done better here. My favorite roll is the baked salmon roll and I will always come back for it, regardless of the presentation. The spider roll was good but the pieces are huge, (not a bad thing necessarily, but every bite had a different taste and it would get quite messy), and presentation not very clean and sloppy . The tempura sauce that came with the Veggie Tempura was tasteless and I had to pour in soy sauce to get the sodium and acidity to par. The Sashimi dinner was not my favorite. Pieces that were thickly cut, very fishy tasting, and tasted like it was full of water content. Over use of daikon tsuma to fill up the empty white space on a huge plate. Overall a very mediocre sushi spot but at this price point Im just nitpicking. It is a wonderful spot for families to unwind and enjoy some sushi, but it could be a bit cleaner. The wine/drink menu at the tables were unbelievably sticky and the whole restaurant just had a whole sticky feel. My wife who usually went to old Suzushii in 17 said that the quality had declined over the past few years. The service was kind and attentive, however, when we were sat at the table we were left with a ordering menu from a previous guest that was marked with their orders. Overall a mediocre experience, however the one thing that will always bring me back is that baked salmon roll.

I went here with my boyfriend. We were seated and within 30 seconds the waitress asked if we were ready to order...we hadnt even looked at the menu. Then about 10 minutes goes by, we had been ready for a little while at that point. They brought out my boyfriends food and never brought mine out or said anything about mine. I finally asked if they were bringing it soon, the waitress said it wasnt ready yet..obviously.. my boyfriend had almost finished his plate completely and mine still wasnt there. Finally they brought it out. I ordered the Anns Roll and it was so disappointing, not worth the 20+ wait time at all. The waitress was very rude, not apologetic or nice at all, shes there almost anytime Ive been there. Needless to say I wont be back and wont recommend it to anyone. I dined in with my boyfriend and siblings to eat for my brothers birthday. My little 9 year old sister is diabetic and is allowed to eat certain things in her diet as well as she is a picky eater she just wanted to get a kids meal chicken tenders . If it were on the sushi alone, there would be no issue. Generally the wait staff is great. The hot comes from a few poorly handled situations on their end that just put a damper on the experience. One for example where they never called us on the waitlist and insisted they did but never checked to assure they had the right number and flipped the blame on us. Very odd and frustrating.

I absolutely love it here and trying new rolls, the waitresses are great. We arrived maybe 3 mins before dinner time, mind you they re closed 3-5pm but they were letting customers wait inside since it s a bit hot out. Well as we were walking up, so was one of the hostesses (Jessica) we were not even 3 steps behind her she opens the door and locks it shut. I was so surprised after seeing multiple customers go inside, I can t believe we were locked out. Our waitress kindly apologized for her rude behavior; which was very appreciated. We love the food here. Its kind of crowded on weekends but where is it not? The food is great. The wait staff can be very pulled because of the lack of waitstaff but they seem to work very hard to keep up with their tables. Only downfall is they need to offer iced tea. Were in Texas. Let me tell you this was the ABSOLUTE WORST service I ve received anywhere I ve been. My family came in there with (six of us with a baby) and I get a call saying our table was ready. After we get seated the Hispanic woman (our waitress) says she ll be taking our orders. She takes our drink orders and appetizers first. 10 minutes passes we still don t have our drinks. Our appetizers come (before our drinks) out and I have to get up and walk over to her as she s talking to co-workers and doing other stuff to say Can we get our drinks please? When she brings our drinks after 20 minutes of waiting she takes our orders and writes them down. 45 minutes goes by with no food we ordered. Nobody came to check on us and the group of five Caucasian women that came in 30 minutes after us had already be served their food and drinks. When the waitress finally brings sushi to the table she brings sushi NOBODY in my party ordered. We asked for a squid salad and she brings out a seaweed salad. In fact she brought twice in a row. I m over here thinking you wrote the orders down how do you not know what we ordered? . She looks at us like she s irritated with us because she kept bringing the wrong orders to the table. Keep in mind the 90 minutes we were in there waiting to eat nobody checked on our table other than the initial order. At 9:30 I got up and told them we were leaving because we were not pleased with the service and it s been 90 minutes with no food after we ordered over an hour ago. They didn t even offer to comp the drinks and appetizers, nobody inside apologized. None of the employees offered any type of accommodations for their actions. BEWARE before you go here and waste time/money because I m telling you people that got there 30 minutes after us were eating and leaving while we were still waiting for our food. This was egregious behavior and terrible customer service on their part. If they can t properly train their staff then they shouldn t be operating as an open business. Absolutely disgusting display of customer service on their part!

The good part: affordable. But the sashimi is waaaay too soft. The fish has been thawed for too long and the texture is no longer right. Fresh sushi/sashimi should be firm but flexible. I wonder if they have left the food out too long or the storage area is too hot. Proper texture and freshness should be the very basic, fundamental quality of any sushi restaurant. It is worrying when you eat not so fresh raw fish. On another note, if you order soft shell crab be aware. It is actually a salad dish with a side of one soft shell crab. Although the item name did not include salad in it. It was misleading. The crab was a little fishy but not too bad. Cooked food (dinner platters) are okay. Service is good, which is why I gave 3 star overall. But I will not be back for the sushi.

Got there at 9:10p and they close at 10p but I received the worst service from Thinh. As soon as we sat down, he asked what we wanted without even 30 seconds to look at the menu and we placed an order within a minute. I told him I needed another minute to choose a second sushi and he promptly told me that the kitchen stops taking orders ..in 33 minutes(9:45p)! The kid was definitely rushing me out so I was ready with the second order very quickly. He brought the sushi out way after our hot appetizers which arrived very cold because he was too busy doing side work to check on the smaller plates. He did not check in on us at any point and did not check for refills. Thinh was very quick to drop off a check at 9:38pm and asked if we wanted any to-go boxes and I asked for one along with a to-go drink. Thinh came back and apologized and said the soda machine was turned off for the night but still charged me for the drink. This place has been my go to sushi place for the past few years. Service is always fast and the staff is always pleasant to interact with. They have a HUGE menu of all different kinds of rolls for whatever flavors you re in the mood for. I personally love the soft shell crab fried rice. I could literally eat that everyday if I could. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for good sushi.

Service was terrible, the server didn t bring our drinks or asked for our order till 20 minutes after being there. I had to tell her to serve me. And if that s not bad after all that she charged me for the wrong ticket. I asked for a manager and turns out she was the manager I was so mad.

They put too much sauce on Sushi. Why did the restaurant put Unagi (eel) sauce on Shrimp tempura rolls? Other rolls have way too much sauce too. Nigiris fish is not fresh either; Tuna tasted terrible. If you like authentic Sushi, please look for somewhere else.

Decent food but service was a bit slow. Dont sit by the front door when its cold. They forgot the soup/salad that came with my meal as they seemed a bit flustered or short staffed. Edited and upgraded as service drastically improved this visit. Spicy Thai noodles are really good.

Local here! This is one of my go-to lunch places, highly recommend. Service is good, we never had an issues with staff, they are always polite & stay on top of things. Wait time for good to come out is pretty good too. Ive been when its slow and Ive been when its busy, youre never waiting too long and the food always comes out hot. Im going to be that person, I like everything here, never been disappointed. Id say my typical lunch order is the beef teriyaki bento box, even the sides are good I like their salad dressing and their miso soup. Upgrade your white rice to fried rice, you wont regret it. For dinner, its usually sushi... the salmon crunch roll is my favorite & they have a good incredible role. Sweet potato tempura, yes! And cleanliness is an A+! Definitely check this place out!

Suzushii Sushi has a great lunch menu. The prices are very good on the lunch menu. Bento box sushi was excellent. Includes miso soup, salad, steamed rice bowl, California roll and five large nigri sushi. The type varies mine was tuna, white tuna, shrimp, yellowtail and salmon. Also included was a half orange which ended the meal and was very refreshing. I always enjoy their sushi. This is the first time I have had their lunch menu.

There was literally 6 of the tiniest pieces of stake in my stake fried rice . I order my food they bring it to me in a to go container then tell me I m not allowed to eat my food in there if it s in a to go container because it makes our restaurant look bad . Their yum yum sauce is disgusting, and they charge 50 cents for any extra sauce. I say extra because your meal does not include ANY sauces, except 1 tiny soy sauce. Don t like soy sauce and wanna replace it? Too bad! That s all you get or you pay! This place is trash! Do not recommend!

This used to be my go to place for sushi. Last two times have not been good. Not sure what happened but received my order and the tuna was luke warm, not cold or chilled as usual and the avocado inside and on top of two different rolls was black. Ordered the Gyoza and upon opening the food smelled odd. Thought maybe it was the lettuce in the box that was warm. Took one bite into a gyoza and bit into something hard. Didn t eat our meal.
