I visited the Hole Grail for a friends birthday party a few weeks ago. We had our service dog along with us. The bartender warned use that the manager would have a problem with use having our dog. I presented the service dog license to the bar tender. We ordered drinks and I was talking to our friends and I over heard the manager Rachel scolding my wife about one of the customers that pet the dog. my wife is from Thailand and is not used to being bullied ask Rachel to speak to me. Rachel pushing her face and staring us both down said I am speaking to both of you!!! Wow, I have witnessed this type of behavior in any restaurant in my life. I explained that he is a service dog. She said if he is we should know that he cant be touched. I told her, he is a service dog again. Again she repeated if he is a service dog. At this point she was calling us liars. While staring us down. What Rachel should know that she was harassing us in a public place with many witnesses! This is called Prohibited Discrimination (Texas Human Resources Code, Section 121.003-121.006) A person my not assault, harass, interfere with, kill, or injure in any way, or attempt to assault, harass, interfere with, kill., or injure in any way, an assistance animal. If you respect the law Rachel, then abide by it yourself. I say stay away from this pub like the plague! We didnt get a chance to try the food, we lost our appetite after be reprimanded in front our our friends. We finished our drinks said happy birthday and got the hell out of there as soon as we could.

My third time in. I have left happy every time. This last time I came and hung out with my dog on the dog friendly patio. Had some wings and beer while I did homework on their wifi. It was great! I look forward to going back.

Dark, lively, late night pub. Traditional bar/pub fare prepared to order and served quickly. Really wanted to try Ghost Chili, but decided against since we were there at 1 am. Fried pickles are some of the best weve had. Very light breading and super crispy. Fries w/gravy is their version of poutine. Gravy and cheese were tasty but fries could have been crispier and cooked just a tad longer. Service was great. Highly recommend for late night cravings. Vegetarian options: Fries, fried pickles, hummus.

The Holy Grail Pub has a fun vibe, but it does feel a bit tired. This time around, the food was not up to par. I had the Fish & Chips, and my wife had the Chicken & Waffles, and they were both way overcooked. The fries (chips) were ok but oddly seemed a bit undercooked. The pretzel twists were very good. Another friend had the Ghost Pepper Chili, and that was pretty darn good, if not a little scary. Aside from all of that, the selection of beers, which are ice cold, by the way, is fantastic as always, along with the character of the place, is enough to go back for.

Just an amazing pub feeling in a sea of samesy copy-paste bar and grills. Feels at home just walking in, and the staff is phenomenal. I almost want to give it a lower score simply to keep it more to myself and my friend group, but its too good not to promote. 100% wonderful place to spend and evening having good food and drinking with friends.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Not especially noisy. It felt a lot like a genuine English PUB. The food portion size was perfect; and I m a big eater, who likes to feel stuffed after eating. My only complaint would be the price. We had two fish and chips, two glasses of beer, and one bread pudding. The final price, after tax and a 22% tip, was $81. Despite the price, I m giving them 5 stars. Inflation seems to be affecting everything. We will definitely go back again.

Awesome pub with delicious food and beer! The place is reminiscent of European pubs, very comfortable place to hang out. Excellent variety of craft and seasonal beers to choose from. The Holy Grail Burger, macaroni and cheese, and Brisket Sandwich are absolutely perfect. My husband enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich. They have a great selection of board games to play while drinking with friends, and TVs at the bar to watch the game. They also offer trivia on weeknights. Great service, very comfortable atmosphere, great deals during happy hour on food and alcohol. The owners are super friendly and staff are nice and professional. This bar has pretty good collection of beers , so if you are there for just beer tasting , this might be a good option. The service is also good. However, their food option is limited and tasted very bland to us. Moreover, the cocktails were the ones that we could not even finish and this is the first time in many years that we were not able to finish a cocktail that we ordered. Probably, would avoid this place as there are better options in Plano and Frisco.

Excellent, dog-friendly location. We had the fish and chips, wings, and pretzels. The pretzel dough was different from the usual pretzel, but delicious. The fish and chips included good planks of fish, not the mealy variety some places have. The wings had good wings and coating, not so high on sodium as some places. I enjoyed some Chimay. Our dog approved of the tiny morsels that she shared. All in, a great, covered location to enjoy your lunch with your dog.

10/10 service and food! Usually when I go to a sports bar, I always expect a quality trade off; you either have good food or good drinks, hardly ever both. This place is the exception. I would have uploaded a photo of the food, but we devoured it. Cleanliness is phenomenal. Saw a gentleman cleaning the bottom of the bar chairs which is often overlooked, so it was really nice to see. Morgan was our server and he was such a solid person. Again, 10/10 service. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back!

So normally I go to Holy Grail late night for wings because they re not very friendly to people of color however the wings can be awesome. Order some wings late Saturday night to go ended up falling asleep and going to them the next morning fries were COMPLETELY RAW which was absolutely disgusting took them back to the restaurant the guy said you bought them yesterday I don t know what to tell you!!! How about I apologize would you like your money back the fries were freaking RAW . I hope the owner of this establishment is aware of the treatment people of color get here . To spend money and be treated bad is an understatement they re just F ing rude . No worries I m one less black woman they have to deal with !! Despicable. . READ THIS REVIEW .. Lots of fun and really good bar selections of top tier bourbon and scotch. The burgers are supposed to be awesome, however I had the Steak Frites (which the Yelp menu showed to be beef tenderloin for $22 / reasonable) - however I was served a small portion of flank steak instead. (Pissed - bait and switch!?!?) Good thing the staff apologized and gave me 50% off for the error. Very professional and the right thing to do. Very impressive, I never asked. Awesome empowerment to the staff from the owner. RARE TO SEE!! They explained there was a menu change and evidently the Yelp website was not updated. They are to have a meeting tomorrow and the Mgr was going to have it fixed! I could not be more proud of the staff and the way they handled this. PERFECT! While I would normally give a 2-3 star, I m giving 4 because of the excellent service I got and the way they handled everything. And several people around me said the burgers were crazy good. THIS IS A PLACE WHICH CARES ABOUT MAKING SURE YOU ARE HAPPY!! This is too rare of an attitude to score low. In several years, I ve never said this. I will definitely be back for a burger and more pours. The atmosphere is totally European with dark woods and decor. Awesome!! One of my new favorites - and 45 min drive for me. But worth it. We visited Sunday night and it has gone downhill. We tried to order a beer five times and they were out of almost every option. My friend ended up getting a can of Lonestar... I used to love their steak frites, but that was also a tragedy. The steak was half the size it used to be and tasted off... It was, and it wrecked my stomach. The waiter was also a bit absent. He had to take an item off the check so went away to return, but never came back. We sat for 15min and then had to track him down to pay. We were about to walk out the door. Im not sure if this is a Sunday night problem or an every night problem. Im sad to say I wont be back anytime soon.

I was really excited to try this place, because I saw they had Sheppards pie & bread pudding. The place seems neat and has a nice vibe. I hope the owners/mgr will consider having someone in charge of keeping an eye on the tables, because we were basically ignored/invisible. We sat in a booth close to the darts as thats what was avail & waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Occasionally we would look around hoping for some acknowledgement or clarity on how to order, maybe we are suppose to go to the bar, made using the qr code at the table. We even googled how to order at Holy Grail Pub Plano hoping a review would clue us in. Finally at one point we saw someone take an order for a couple playing darts. We assumed they saw us and would be back soon. After a few more minutes of waiting I went to the bar & politely asked how to order. The person I spoke with was very friendly , asked where we were sitting and then they would send someone over. However, No one ever came. We waited another 7 minutes & decided it wasnt our night. Even as we left there was no one headed to the table, no recognition when I walked by the person I spoke to earlier, or even as we left. From what I saw was no one was really proactive in keeping track/engaging with the tables and I am curious if it was because we were past the main bar they sort of forget that area even exists because even the couple playing Darts seemed like they had been there a while before being served.

My favorite go-to spot that I ve been a patron of for years now since moving to the area. It s been so cool to experience all different phases of my life (being single, getting married, having a baby, etc) at this pub - almost like a real life episode of Cheers! The food is pretty good, but there are definitely some misses here and there, however I love that they keep it interesting by adding weekend and monthly specials. You want to follow them on IG to know what/when those are. The staff is amazing. Whether it s the same employees that have been there for years or newer seasonal hires, I ve never had a bad experience with anyone personally. Once an employee even walked me home (I live close) when I felt unsafe after a strange interaction with another patron (this was years ago and they ultimately made him leave). I will say that if you come in when it isn t busy and sit on the far side of the bar (furthest from the entrance) that you probably won t get served because the staff seems to all congregate near the other side and don t often walk around to check if anyone has sat. I ve been missed and had to move and/or get up to request service several times (mainly when seated at the bar) so just be aware of that, but otherwise everyone is very friendly, professional, and prompt. The drinks are great, love the wide variety! No complaints there. Lastly, for most holidays they do these super cool, special dinners that are reservation only and usually about $55-65 or so per person. The menus are always very unique and served with a perfect drink pairing. It s seriously my favorite experience! When I was pregnant, they even went out of their way to make specialty mocktails for me to have since I couldn t drink alcohol which I really appreciated. Thank you guys for being such a staple in mine and my family s life!

This might not be a popular review here. This was my first visit in 4 years. Part of it is I m comparing 2019 pre-Covid to today. The gravy fries are still delicious but not game changing like they used to be. Shrinkflation is real and I was pretty shocked at the small portion. Also the fries used to have more crisp and tonight they were pretty soft. Still very tasty but not what it used to be. We got fish and chips. The breading and crisp was good. Fish seemed fresh. Again fries did not seem hand cut and were not crisp enough.. not quite soggy but not crisp either. For the atmosphere I love that it s dark and it feels like what I would imagine an English pub to be like. The music playing might as well have been my iTunes playlist. But the music inside is pretty loud and if that s not your music it might be a negative. There is a nice outdoor sitting. And they have added some blockers from the outside elements when it s cold. Service was great. My waiter was quick, attentive, and friendly. Overall, this is a great place to get happy hour with friends or work colleagues. Nice outdoor area, nice beer and drink selection and good, but no longer great imo, food. As far as a date experience I d say there are better places. But I still love this place.

Had reservations for Thanksgiving lunch. Arrived to find our reservations were missing. After a few walk offs and talking to other employees we were taken to a table. Service, food and ambiance were great after our first scare. Beer pairings were on point with our food.

It s a solid neighborhood bar! The staff is attentive though spread thin. I like to talk to my bartenders as I m here for the experience. Unfortunately the bartenders are swamped! The food is good too. I wish they had some kind of entertainment though. Maybe a dj?

The menu is a bit on the small side but thats probably a good thing because whats on there is excellent. They also have brunch I think but I havent tried that. We came hungry! And this place has a amazing menu of the most yummy comfort foods! Fish/chips. Great sandwiches and burgers, mac and cheese and chilli! We had fish and chips and honey chicken sandwich both were great!
