The only complaint I have is that some of the games you do not get much tickets for even if you win and you have no idea how much your going to win until you win, the prizes that are for small ticket amounts are like dollar store toys that you could go buy for a 1$ and then the bigger toys that are 1,000 tickets or more are things that you could also just go buy at the store for less than you would spend playing their games. You also can t load anything on the car less than 20$. Other than that the food is really good, it s a bit pricey and kind of hard to afford eating and playing. Be ready to spend.

For birthdays we often go to arcades, see how many tickets we can win, and my daughters can get some toy with their ticket haul. Today we went to Dave and Busters for the first time. Say what you want about prices, carnival games, prizes, etc... The reason for this recommendation is an employee named Jaime in the game area. He helped us on multiple occasions with different things. Fixed some games. He told us how to play some differently in order to win more tickets. He helped us on three or four occasions. The last time, he went into the back to see if he could find a Charmander plushie for one of my daughters. He was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, very patient, and genuinely made our experience top notch.

If youre looking for a place for a decent meal, drinks and some good fun, this is the place. A venue for adults and family alike. Although theres an age requirement, families abound here, where the adults have drinks and conversation and the kids while away the hours with myriad arcade games to play, from the latest driving games, to good old air hockey. I highly recommend you give Dave and Busters a try. You wont regret it!

Always a fun time here! Me and my girlfriend go every Wednesday as we have slowly started becoming regulars! The best part of our experience every week is Raul. He s always got such a great attitude and is a super down to earth guy, we definitely always look forward to saying hi to him! Food is good, we haven t ever had a problem with it. My only complaint is the beer selection, there s not much to choose from other than your standards. If there were more options or local beers I d be coming here a lot more than just Wednesday s! Make this happen D&B Lubbock!

It was my husband and my first time here and we were confused how everything worked. Denim was amazing he helped us get play cards set up so we could start our fun! Then one of the machines was being stingy and kept freezing and Denim was happy to help each time with an amazing spirit the whole time! The other guys in the prize area were very nice and helped too! But Denim great job man you made our first time here an amazing experience!! Kid-friendliness: It s a great adult atmosphere but it was definitely kid friendly I m excited to bring my kids to play next time!

Had an awesome time tonight, came from Amarillo and was not disappointed! Denim was so helpful from the very beginning, he seen how lost we looked and explained everything to us and set us up with our game cards, the place was very busy and we had to call on him in the game area a few times for a game issue, each time he came with a smile, fixed us up and went back to helping others. The dining area, game room and restrooms were all clean and well kept. We will be coming back, thanks again to Denim, such a great guy!

First time we went to Dave and busters in Lubbock and will not be back every game was such a blast my son and my wife went to go drinks from the bar because we were really thirsty my wife told them we need to get a water and a tea and a Dr pepper cost us $14 for the drinks that were all small and though bartender lady I didnt catch her name she didnt have any tag on gave my son a Sprite instead of a water and sat there and got upset with my wife and said that him being ADHD does not cause a problem with his sugar which my wife said that yes it does because he also has other medical reasons now we just left the emergency room after them giving him a Sprite he drinks some he had to have medication and thats not right which they had to give him a pint of blood because his ear nose bleed Im glad hes okay now but they also had to give him his medication to stop bleeding and he shouldnt even have that we are very cautious of what he eats and he drinks and she put my sons life at harm

Wow. All the hype for nothing When I came to Dave and Busters I thought that it would be better than our arcade in this beautiful city, but boy was I wrong. At first glance I saw all the arcade and started searching to pay and it was on other side. To add to our confusion we paid 26 dollars for 150 chips which was a pretty reasonable amount. After 30 minutes of playing game wed cashed in all of our points only to find we only had 54 chips! To add to our frustration most of the stuff we has was in the hundreds and thousands. Candy should not be 100 chips In the end, this experience was one of the most confusing and frustrating I ever encountered. People of lubbock who have never been to dave and busters, dont go you will be disappointed.

Tremendous experience! Our company rented out D&B for an appreciation party over the weekend. I cannot speak highly enough about how kind & courteous all of the staff treated our employees & their families (86 total). From the management to those supervising the arcade floor & food service areas, everything was well-organized & enjoyable! Specifically, Javi accommodated our families with arcade play & jokes, and Harrison ensured that our families were accommodated with food & drinks. Excellent customer service & credit to this staff for making the occasion extra-special... will definitely be returning!

I always enjoy my Dave and Buster s experience when I travel, from the food to the atmosphere but The best part of the Lubbock location is the service. I have received exceptional service every time. I had Mary as a server and she went above and beyond. I had everything I needed so quickly and even a few things I didn t know I needed. She has even made a few suggestions on trying new things that are now some of my favorites. She has even gone as far as to help me get the TV that is closest to me to show the game I want to watch. Now I go in and specifically ask to sit in her section even if there is a wait. 5 stars is not enough for the effort she puts in. Lubbock Dave and Buster s and Mary have earned my business!

Very exciting place with big huge games and flashing lights, loud noises, almost like stepping in to a casino in Las Vegas, so many games to play, all new and all working, have to buy a game card, we bought the unlimited everything game card free games every day for 10 days during spring break, and have option to buy additional cards for $20 and it is so worth it to buy that especially when the kids were home for a week, over spring break, only down sides are no tickets earned, and have to wait 60sec for next game, that is why you get additional cards when you get the unlimited, so other family members can play, another game, also there is a fully functioning bar and restaurant here also, and you get 10 free nachos with queso, when unlimited pass is purchased, food is excellent wait staff is friendly, greated with a smile and very attentive to your needs, big screen tvs everywhere, a great place to go on game day. A bit expensive, but so worth it.

We had a reservation for 5:15 and didn t have our tables fully available until 7. Food orders were missed. Appetizers didn t come out and kids Mac and cheese was refrigerator cold. Horrible experience and these were family from out of town trying to celebrate my grandsons 10th birthday! Our 15 year old son was accused not once but twice of stealing out of the prize store. Had to prove both times with receipt that they were wrong. It was all over a bouncy ball that I saw him use his points card for. Hope it is worth losing customers that spent well over $145 during our visit over an accusation of .02 bouncy ball that he bought fair and square. Wont be back!

Me and my family came in for a birthday lunch celebration and were not greeted by friendly faces or friendly staff at all. If I could give this establishment a 0 stars I would. There was absolutely no kind of passion or friendliness throughout our experience. The food was over cooked and over priced for the quality and serving size offered, when we could get the servers attention it was very passive aggressive and condescending. The manager was also very rude when we spoke to her. Our server was very obviously ignoring our table as she turned her back to us at every given chance when taking care of other tables and hardly ever checked on us and never got us refills. It was 2pm on a Saturday so it wasn t terribly busy for the poor serviced we received.I was given no names from either the server or the manager we spoke to. Was excited to entertain our inner child, play games and eat. First the food was not quite the award winning experience I expected, My husband and Son ordered burgers they were burnt my Philly was cold..ick, my upgrade to truffle fries was kinda sad they were just a small order of fries nothing fancy drizzled with oil I assume the other pics I see in reviews were presented ALOT better than mine were. The games are of course over priced you will blow through 20 in minutes we dropped 100 and literally only played about a hour (3 of us). . The games are really geared towards children, tons of ticket spin type games the classics are on huge screens and hard to maneuver Im sure these are so you dont play long and spend more. Would have loved to see more arcade type geared for the adult kids. Anyway the whole experience was just okay. Safe to sat we probably wont be back.

Ive never been the person to send food back, but not only did my party send back a few items, we were also treated like our complains weren t valid whatsoever. Manager seemed upset and was passive aggressive for the complaints but definitely not a good example for the waiters who shadow her attitude. Flat beer, burnt food with a side of attitude is a terrible experience. Ill make sure to eat before i come back

Came in for my nephew birthday. Had a party of 7. One of our burgers came out incorrectly. They of course apologized and after a 20 minute wait brought out the wrong burger again. Everyone else was done eating by this point and it took another 15 minutes to get the burger out. We had to get it to go because at that point everyone else was ready to go

We had our Christmas party there a few weeks ago and the staff was very attentive and the food was outstanding. We had a party of around 30 and they were very prompt as we all arrived separately to take drink orders before our food came out. Their Guacamole, Queso and the Churros with caramel were all very very good! The chicken strips, sliders and pigs in a blanket were also good. The package came with game cards for everyone to play games. The staff was all very friendly and even as things got hectic as the evening went on they were smiling and attentive. Highly recommend! We came for Trivia Night!! Had a fantastic time at Trivia, Derek was awesome! But DAVE AND BUSTERs staff absolutely the WORST!!! We were told we would have to sit at the bar because the tables around trivia were all full. There were 12 tables EMPTY in that area. We sat at the bar from 730pm to 903pm without being acknowledged or asked if we wanted anything!! We were never even asked if we wanted to get drinks, food, water or anything despite waitstaff and managers walking by but refusing to even make eye contact. FIRST and LAST time I will ever go there!!

1st off if you are sensitive to light and sound do not go to this establishment. If you arent sensitive this place is super fun!! Expensive but fun!! Loaded a card with credits and let the kids run wild they had a blast while me and my lady hung out in the dining area. They played all the games and had credits left, really cool. Ordered Cantina nachos and they were drowned in nacho cheese. Now, I m a person that enjoys a lot of cheese and I was like this is too much cheese. Waitress attentive to a fault. I mean she check on us every single time she passed by, which was like every 3-5 minutes. A bit smothering. The dining room was super cold but my biggest complaint was the sound volume. It s like they had an expensive sound system and they wanted you to know it. Turned all the way up and even after we asked a few times to lower it a little, they never did. We could not have a conversation amongst ourselves at the table due to having to read lips and repeat everything we said. So we just ate quickly and left . Kid-friendliness: While we were there they had a person making free balloon animals for the kids.

The manager on duty, Kristin, was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. Our bartender, Chris, was very efficient and busy and still was able to serve us in a very timely and speedy way. I went to Dave and Busters with a very large group for my granddaughters Birthday. It was 25 of us. I arrived an hour early to get seating arrangements since we didnt have a reservation. This place is fine. The food is aggressively mediocre. None of the flavors are balanced. Its all just very corporate, boring, and not good food. The games are fun, but it is TOO loud. We had to yell just to be heard. My ears are ringing, my throat is hoarse from yelling, and I have a headache. 50th Street Caboose and Main Event are FAR superior options, IMHO. I cannot see myself ever going back.
