Super friendly, great customer service. Went In just to look an ended up leaving with a E-Revo VXL. Than a week later went an bought a stampede. Over all he has about anything you will need for RC. Big Mikes is an awesome place. I travel for work building water towers. I took on the hobby for something to do on my off time in the afternoons. Its a great hobby to get into. Big mike has a great selection of rc parts. A very friendly staff and willing to help out with anything they can. Got my first 1/10th scale rig from him. Great place go check it out!!

Nice little shop. They didn t have what I needed, but they have a good selection. Only complaint is that it s very crowded, the shelves don t have a lot of space in between them so the walkway feels awkward and tiny.

Visiting Marshall from CA and needed some parts and shock oil ....stepped in and initial got a very good vibe at Big Mike and got excellent help from Erick..Erick is the reason I improved my rustler 4x4 vxl handling and was invited to 318 rc raceway to see some rc races had a blast and Erick treated me like family....I told my in law abt BMHT place and that same day he purchase slash 4x4 ultimate and was treated good at this shop....Thanks alot to Big M and Erick for helping and inviting us to the rc scene in this area.....keep it up

Recently moved to Tyler and had been wanting to drive over to Longview and check this place out. First off Mike is super nice and very helpful. There is a very nice selection here of RC Vehicles and parts. Mike has the best crawler/trail truck vehicle and parts selection Ive seen in Texas. Prices were all good and inline with what you see online. Honestly some of his parts and accessory prices were better than online. My son as looking for model paint for his Gundam and found everything he needed. I wanted to pick up some more lipo packs and again there was a nice selection. Mike even opened the lipo boxes so I could see the sizes. We will be back for sure. Definitely worth the drive and I would highly recommend. Ive been in RC for over 20 years and can say this all from experience.

I ve been here multiple times, and as someone who is new to the hobby I expected the store owner to be courteous, and informative. I ve left many times having to find very basic information online. Also, of the 3 times I ve left with parts I couldn t return because of his policy, all because of incorrect assumptions made by mike. 78$ Very unhelpful staff. Shop online, save the hassle and definitely save money! I left today with a 30$ receiver he incorrectly suggested. Last time....

Nice store have used big mikes in past with nothing but good results but bought this b17 for grand son after they recommended it battery would not charge for Christmas morning took back and they checked it battery bad guy said he had same problem nice to know after fact then pretty much told me it was to much trouble for them to get the new battery so I would have to call manufacturer or could just buy one while I was there long story short if u use them plan on as is no warranty I came home ordered grandson me rc off line if u buy there stay away from b17 Betty scx24 figure if gonna have to deal with all myself I ll just have the luxury of having it delivered to my door

Visited today with my 9 year old son. Of course we were very attracted to the nice selection of large rc trucks. He had a good inventory of parts for them too. We were there to look for model cars and trucks but the selection was a little small. We got 2 and some paint and glue. When checking out we were informed of the local model model builders club. Super low prices and great customer service. I was sure what I would run into walking into this place but this place is a step above most hobby stores that Ive been to. The prices seem more toward getting people into a hobby and less towards making it rich. I walked out with a brand new rc truck and charger adapter for under 400 dollars when in most places Ive been to your walking out paying more then 500.00 . The gentleman behind the counter was helpful and knowledgeable. The world needs more places like big Mikes around.

5 stars? Big mikes is worth 10 as far as Im concerned. Mike is an awesome guy who is very knowledgeable throughout the hobby whether it drives floats or flys, He either has it on shelf with parts or can order either one pretty quick . if your new to the hobby I especially recommend Big Mikes on account of his experience and knowledge to help and lead you the right direction. Another good thing about Big Mikes is the club like atmosphere,if Mike is busy with a customer and cant get to you ,there is always someone who can assist with any questions. the bar cant be raised any higher when it comes to reliable, friendly, honest customer service.

I live in Tyler & Work in Longview, so I am fortunate to have two nice hobby shops at my convenience; Big Mikes being one of them. As others have said, the employees are VERY knowledgeable about their products. Also, with an inventory that far exceeds what you might expect before walking through the front door; the prices @ Big Mikes are reasonable (if not a little lower) when compared to their competition. Inventory: Nitro & Electric R/C for ground, air, & water applications, trains, rockets, models, and all the things that you would expect from a quality hobby shop.

Big Mikes is surprisingly well stocked with prices that may be a tad higher than what you may find on the internet, but if you take into account S & H, no waiting, and the assurance of quality you get buying from a local store then he is most definitely competitive. Also I liked that he is knowledgeable about his products, but doesnt try to blow smoke and jargon up ur a$$ to convince you to buy something or to exaggerate his knowledge of something. (Think best buy home entertainment dept. No he isnt that Guy.) Low pressure buying environment with surprisimgly good selection, competitive prices, and great service!
