Went for food and a drink. The bartender yelled from the bar and said just take a table. We sit there for almost 10 minutes before our drink order and menu. After I got my margarita I might as well had the whole bottle of tequila with no color. After sitting there for another 10 minutes I walked over to the bartender and asked if they could make it not so stout. She laughed and said what s wrong with that and I can not make it any less stout so I said well how about a Jack Daniel Lemonade we ll after she made that it was nothing but Whiskey big time. For our hamburgers it was 30 minutes and there was only 1 other table. The burgers were dry and the bread soggy, the waitress finally came to get some of the dishes and tried literally to take the one that was still eating. Very unorganized and not friendly.

I really like Burger Theory, the staff are amazing and the food has been great. The reason for the 4 star for food is because they no longer put Philly Meat on the PHILLY BURGER . That is rather disappointing as it was my favorite burger on the menu. So instead of being a PHILLY BURGER it is now just burger with vegetables and cheese on it. I hope they bring the original back.

This restaurant was incredible! From our server, Irvin, who was friendly and attentive to the delicious food, our experience was great! Our group enjoyed nachos, a burger, salad, chicken strips and the sliders. Also, having sport.on the televisions was nice. We cant wait to go back! The bartender Angela was literally the only reason I stayed! I was going to move hotels for something closer to where I was going to be, but ANGELA was the reason I stayed! Wife and I stopped by on an impromptu date night. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. Our waitress Hanna was very helpful and attentive. We started with fried pickles which were on special. They were seriously tasty with an awesome house made ranch and perfect crispy breading without being too salty as so many fried pickles tend to be. Burgers were very high quality and delicious, I m not a big fan of the kgb sauce, but otherwise certainly enjoyed the main course. I should say here that my wife and I are both on low carb diets and as such our order is anything but normal and the staff got every single detail right. Really enjoyed this and look forward to coming back to try more a lot of the menu looks really good. Dietary restrictions: Carb-free options!!

Wonderful experience! The two girls working were a breath of fresh air Moriah and Vanessa were exceptional! Perfect service, fun atmosphere, lots of TVs, but the only downfall is that they did not have prime video so we could not watch the major football game that was playing at the time so I ended up having to leave early to go to another bar to watch the game. Apart from management choosing not to have prime video, everything else was an A+!

My mother and I had dinner here and then breakfast the next day. We had a room for the night at Holiday Inn. For dinner we were taken care of by bartender Parker, server Mariah, chef London, and manager Josh. For breakfast, Irvin was our server with Carolina holding down the kitchen as chef. The manager, Josh, was again present. We thoroughly appreciated the food, atmosphere, and staff. We were very well taken care of and had a great time. If we are ever in the Lubbock area again, we will be stopping in to enjoy in the delicious food and wonderful staff.

The chef, London, who prepared our food, did an amazing job cooking our food. The farm fresh is one of the best burgers Ive ever had. The sweet potato fries are excellent. With reasonable prices and great tunes playing, Burger Theory is a hidden gem in the Hub City. 10 out of 10, highly recommend. Macy, the bar tender, also makes great drinks.

Been here 3 times now and they nailed it every time. Great team! Josh remembered us each time and said hello! Today just happened to be a day that we witnessed a unhappy customer come in asking to bring his basketball team in 10 minutes before close (of a gourmet grill restaraunt) they offered to serve his team and asked if it was possible for the team to submit there menu orders while the bus drove to the restaraunt the man stormed off saying how terrible service he received LOL. Not impressed. We stayed at the hotel specifically for their advertised chicken and waffles. They didn t have them the first day and we waited for over an hour for nachos. Went back the next morning - and we re told they didn t have a working waffle maker. So we ordered off the menu. After waiting almost 2hrs our server told us they d be closing shortly at 11am and we might as well go elsewhere. Wow. So we left.

I dont give a lot of 1 star reviews but when I do they deserve em... so where to start... Lets start with the service that was so slow I thought wed still be sitting there for breakfast when we finally got our food. It took nearly 90 minutes for anything to come out of the kitchen. And dont say you were busy, we were one of 4 tables on the entire restaurant (which should have tipped us off on a Friday night). When the food finally arrived my sons crispy chicken was grilled and the fries were cold. He asked for mayo from the beginning, but then when he reminded the waitress, she took literally another 10 minutes to get his mayo... so he could eat his wrong meal, which he didnt tell me until after, be cause it had already been 90 minutes. My wifes burger never arrived. The waitress told us it was made wrong and would be just 2 more minutes. But it never came out as we sat there waiting to the 2 hour mark. My firecracker shrimp tacos still had the trails on them, I get it if I ordered the firecracker shrimp by itself, but honestly, when you put it in a taco, TAKE THE DAMN TAILS OFF. Oh and the fries were cold, no salt, and were definitely NOT the garlic truffle fries I ordered. We called the manager over, who apparently was the chef as well and she took no ownership, she barely acknowledged anything other than my wifes missing burger and THAT was the only item the took off the check. Despite cold food, wrong food, missing food, food that had gotten cold by the time she showed up, we got barely any vindication for their mistakes. Thank God I dont ever have to come to Lubbock again as I was just passing through, but even if I lived here, you couldnt pay me enough to go back. They should shut down, fire everyone, rebrand and try again..I would give this place negative stars if Google allowed for this... except for the bar tender, the drinks were ok... that gets 3 stars.

It was a great experience. Mireya was the only server and she had 1 cook (Pam) due to a heavy storm; they were both great! My sister has a beef allergy and they remade a dish for her, I truly appreciated the fact they took care of us. I will be coming back & I will recommend my company to utilize their business. Food was delivered 2 hours after ordering. Orders were incorrect. Tickets were incorrect. Tickets took 30 minutes to fix. Food was mediocre at best. It appears there are 3 staff members working I would avoid this place at all costs. No staff present during photo.

Ordered the On The Border burger and got an over cooked frozen patty with stale cheese and an even worse bun. Not even a half decent frozen patty at that. If I could give this -5 stars I would. Love this place. They were super short staffed. But our waitress was as bad she could be awesome. I did the build your burger option and it was absolutely delicious. I dont live in Lubbock but the next time I come back to Lubbock I definitely will come back to this place. You get to pick your own meat beef chicken or veggie. And then cheese and toppings. And then they have optional extras for an additional price. Food was terrific. I would highly recommend this place for a casual burger restaurant to just go relax and have fun.

Great atmosphere! I go in at least once a week and the food is always great! The Cobb salad with grilled chicken is a huge portion and tastes amazing! They also have live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays to come out and check out! Great place to bring the whole family!
