Do not sleep on this place! Great food and atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. They walk you through the menu with pictures and more information about how dishes are prepped. It was a great time and the prices are comparable to olive garden, with MUCH BETTER QUALITY FOOD. Will definitely go again!

Second time at Tuscan Pig. Had the Ragu over linguini w the parm it option. So good. The service is excellent. The Sinatra era music is uniquely awesome. But, the TIRAMISU is close to a religious experience. Tears ran down my face. I heard angels sing.

We always receive the best service, and food here. Today we arrived 20 minutes before they opened, not realizing we were so early, and they opened the door, waved us in, and opened the kitchen early. My husband and I have never had a bad dining experience here, and absolutely recommend it to all!

Im a huge proponent of local and small business, but this one has me baffled. The good: - service was excellent - cheesy bread was delicious The ok: - pesto (their specialty) was bland. Not sure if the dollop of sour cream was too overpowering, but i couldnt taste any basil or pinenut flavor - meatballs were oddly mealy and seemed processed. Im sure they are homemade, but they tasted like store bought frozen ones. They were very tender though The bad: - there is a sign that says they no longer take cash and only accept credit. Then, they charge a 3.5% credit card fee. I mean.....Im all for transparency, but this was too much a punch in the face I left underwhelmed and felt like I paid too much for the quality of the food and experience (the building smelled musty like a really old home and paper napkins instead of cloth) I will not be a repeat customer.

We went to this Italian restaurant for the 1st time to celebrate an anniversary. We were absolutely not disappointed. Excellent food coupled with truly outstanding service all in a quaint nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the lasagna and chicken parm. Both dishes were delicious and the servers were very attentive without being intrusive. Our new go-to Italian restaurant!

Their menu is simple with a focus on their sauces which are all made in house and are absolutely wonderful, from their pesto to their red sauce. The pork is very rich and flavorful and their meatballs are a great compliment to any dish. Staff are always friendly and inviting. If you love tiramisu you have to try theirs!

Passing through Longview and stopped for the night. I was craving gnocchi so decided to doordash in from Tuscan Pig. If the delivery is this good, I can only imagine if Id had it plated straight from the kitchen. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. And dont even get me started on this Lemoncello Cake. DIVINE. Next time, Im dining in!

I love me some pasta! Had been eyeballing this spot for some time . Finally tried it and was very disappointed! It was sooooo dry! I like cheese on my pasta but I also like more sauce than cheese! The meat was big and dry! Adding the extra cheese on top made it worse cause the sauce is little to none. The bread they give you with the order is good tho..

My wife and I spent the weekend in Longview. We found the Tuscan Pig on the web, and decided to visit. What a great decision. I had the lasagna, and my wife had the pesto and pork gnocchi. The brought these out family style so we both could share these. Both we amazing choices. The lasagna also had their signature pork and was one of the best I ve had anywhere! The gnocchi was great as well. Come and give this place a try!

Food was very tasty. I missed having some sort of fresh bread provided. 4 pcs of garlic bread are available for purchase. A toasted bun came with the lasagna but it was tasteless . No garlic, no butter. The Caesar salad was nice, even with grape tomatoes. Fresh Parmesan would have been a good addition. Green can dried Parmesan was all that was available.

Rudy took care of us tonight. Ordered the Alfredo dipping sauce, and the meditation tamales for an appetizer. (Dont sleep on these!!) They were tasty, with a small kick of heat. Our food was delicious, brought out quickly with HUGE portions. The ragu sauce is a must try, its subtle, and doesnt have the acidic bite most red sauces do. Staff was friendly and suggested a few items for our more unsure company. You can taste the love and quality ingredients in the dishes. Which is a hard find these days! I got the eggplant parm with spaghetti but I had to let my 7 year old granddaughter have my spaghetti because she didnt like her mac and cheese. Other than that, it was decent food. Small little Italian restaurant. Cozy, with plenty of seating. Nice selection of wines. Staff members were on point. Very friendly, professional, and attentive. You can view your menu items on a big screen television if you like. We had a large group and we came in at 8 30 pm. Surely they werent happy to see us. But we felt comfortable and not rushed. Melanie suggested the gnocchi with semered pork. We had the chicken lasagna as well. Both great dishes. Appetizers had bread with cheese and green pesto. All great recommendations. The food was delicious and filling while having a nice texture and flavor to it. I recommend the Tuscan pork they have on several of their dishes. Some friends and I had eaten here a couple of years ago, and it impacted us on such a deep level that we continued to discuss it for years to come the four cheese bread the bruschetta sampler the chicken lasagna unfortunately it is quite the trek for us to make it all the way out to Longview, and we weren t able to come back for some time. However, on one fateful Friday evening, the stars aligned. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but I settled on the pesto gnocchi with pork, and what followed, I believe has genuinely altered my life. Friends. Enemies. Esteemed Colleagues. You may believe I am being overly dramatic when I say this, but I have eyewitness accounts that will confirm what I am about to say. This dish quite literally moved me to tears. I genuinely cried over how delicious this meal was. I have sworn off gnocchi that has been made by other hands. I will only eat it here forevermore. To the owners: you are doing amazing work and I would probably sell a kidney for this food. Thank you.

Hello! I never leave reviews and I have ate in 33 different states and 3 different countries, I worked on the road my entire life and never had lasagna like this, it had to be a off night it had like a burnt taste to the sauce, our garlic bread was very lightly I mean very lightly toasted on top and cold on bottom, our 2 side salads that came with the meal were a handful of spring mix, 2 cherry tomatoes and onions on my wifes and 1 tomato and no onions on mine, the homemade dressing had a great taste to my surprise, my wife s chicken Parmesan had a very weird taste also and had no flavor whatsoever she ate 2 bites. Instead of bringing this up with other customers setting right beside us I went to the front and told the server very quietly, well I guess the manager does not like that he came out and asked what was the deal so I quietly told him that was a mistake he grabbed my bowl and took a bite out of my lasagna with my spoon and said oh there s nothing wrong with it, it s just a acquired taste, all he kept saying was how they were featured in a magazine and how they have served over 1 million servings! I was very surprised by that never seen that before ever. Needless to say it was the worst dining experience of my life I would not recommend this place to anyone ever!! I really enjoy good food and I ve tried things most people would never eat such as goat,calf fries,stomach,rabbit, turtle it s all been good but this was terrible! Sorry for the long review just want to share my honest opinion!!!

**DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH** This Italian restaurant is by far the best in Longview and the surrounding area. My wife and I have been a few times now and we cant say enough about how amazing it is! I usually have the chicken Parm and she orders the Tortellini with the pink sauce. Both dishes are amazingly delicious. Oh and make sure you get the caprese sliders as an appetizer. These may actually be the best item on the menu. There is so much flavor packed into these little amazing sliders. The owner and staff are amazing as well which really makes this restaurant 5 stars. Everyone was very attentive and the owner even stopped and spoke with us about a little history. If you pass on this place you will surely regret it because its hands down the best!

I felt so horrible heading into our night but Rodolfo was fantastic! I called him at 1 pm to see if he could accommodate 25 people last minute. He said no problem without hesitation. He laid out menu options on the spot and we were done. Well, by 4:15 (when they open at 5) I received word it would only be 12. When i called he said no problem. I showed up...and there 6! We ate as much as we could and needless to say ALL had to-go boxes. We paid a extra for the server he had to call in for help. Well that was the best Italian meal I ve had in a long time. Easily, easily my favorite restaurant in the area. If you want to go to an actual good restaurant, not just an okay one, come here. 1st time here but Rudy & his staff 1 named staff Nessa were so pleasant helpful and engaging with me made me feel welcomed from the time I opened the door. I had a To Go order of the country Lasagna cheese bread & side salad with ranch. Portion size was very hefty but you get what you pay for very pleased. I dont usually write reviews, but I had an absolutely fantastic experience here tonight. I have visited before and had great experiences every time, but this one takes the cake lol. My sister and I dined in tonight, and we had fantastic cheese bread, fried gnocchi, and alfredo with fried chicken cutlet. The food and service was absolutely fantastic! My sister and I always joke about how much we love their large twirling spoons, and tonight I gained the courage to ask our waiter if it was possible for us to purchase one of their spoons, and the owner was kind enough to fulfill our super weird request lol!! He was extremely kind, and even gave my sister a shirt after we explained our obsession with their spoons. Our first time here. Certainly wont be our last. Rudy helped us order, and did a wonderful job. His wife, Miriam is the fabulous chef in the kitchen. We had several dishes to share from appetizer to dessert. Great service, spectacular food. Parking: Lots of space.

A fun place to experiment and try new things. Lots of staff to cover your table but sometimes they lose track of little things that you ask for. We tried several dishes family style. It was a nice suggestion by the staff. We did have the desserts and those were excellent.

We. are in Longview for the first time. The Tuscan Pig was recommended, so we ate there tonight. The menu items are the creations of the owners. The difficulty is what to order. Fortunately, we took their recommendations. This was the best Italian food we can ever remember, and we have been to a lot of Italian restaurants even in Italy. It is not fancy, do don t dress up.The owners put their money in the food, which is amazing.

By far my favorite restaurant in East Texas.. The food is exquisite, the portions are very generous , and authentic to boot. The experience goes far beyond the food though. Rudy the owner and host absolutely make the experience what it is. True Italian hospitality from what is most likely the nicest guy in Longview . The whole staff is there to make it the best meal ever. If you enjoy Italian you should definitely treat yourself.

We are traveling to visit family out of state and wanted to stop and get something to eat on the way. We came across this establishment and decided to give it a try due to the large amount of highly positive reviews. I am happy to say that the highly positive reviews for this establishment are absolutely 100% correct and it was an absolute privilege to dine here tonight. Everything about our experience was perfect. The service was very attentive and friendly and they were very informative and knowledgeable about the menu items. We tried several menu items and all of the items we sampled were absolutely delicious and had their own creative twist from the chef and were of very high quality. The lasagna and Tiramisu were the best I ve had and had homemade flavor. I also recommend trying the appetizer cheese bread with their specialty Italian pulled pork. This is not your run of the mill Italian restaurant. This establishment was a great find and a treat on our trip. Thank you Tuscan Pig for an awesome experience! We will be back again. You can also tell a lot about the quality of a restaurant due to the cleanliness of its restrooms. Again perfect as the restrooms were very clean and well decorated. Just an overall fantastic experience here folks

This place has great reviews but several of us went for lunch and we were so disappointed. It s just too expensive to me and I swear my meatballs were not homemade. They r the spongy type meatballs. I would like to know if they were homemade. Lunch cost us $89. I bout died. That was before the tip. They are so nice and the place is clean. Maybe we just aren t used to this type of Italian food but not one of us liked it. Ordered kids pasta with grilled chicken which we paid extra for. It was very small pieces of boiled chicken and it was $12 for a kids lunch/no sides/small portion. I don t want to deter people from coming. You may love it but it s definitely different. The pork is amazing tho.

A little hidden gem! I was visiting Longview and delighted to try a new place with my best friend, who loves this place! The waitress was so personable and obviously was proud of working here, showing us works of art and creative touches! Every morsel I put in my mouth was heaven! Really! The pork appetizer, the TOMATO SOUP (BIG YUM), the excellent cheesy lasagna, salad, tiramisu (sp?) And the owner was super nice! If I lived in Longview, I would definitely frequent the Tuscan Pig!

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch here while in Longview today. The authentic Italian food and the service were both beyond our expectations. Wonderful menu makes it hard to decide. I wanted every dessert! Try the Tuscan Pig Country Lasagna. It s fabulous! Check on hours before you go. They even have a party room for your larger celebrations!

We went to the restaurant not knowing it was by reservation only on Valentines Day but Rodolfo sat us anyway instead of turning us away. We had excellent service from start to finish and the food was wonderful. This was my husbands first time there and my second, he usually does not say too much good about food but he really enjoyed his meal and states he thinks he has a new favorite place to go.

Ill start by saying that the food tasted wonderful. The portion size was very small. No sides. No bread. 2 dinners and 2 teas were forty-three dollars before the tip. The meatballs in my dish you could tell was a frozen type meatballs. You know the spongy type with the small grill lines on the meatball. The sauce was great. I will be stopping somewhere on my way home to get something to eat because Im still starving. The tea tasted like it was made with mop water. They brought an entire carafe of tea to the table but I couldnt get the orginal glass down due to the horrible taste. Service was good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the bruschetta appetizer and we each had the country lasagna. The meal came with bread and salad. Food was wonderful and tasty. For dessert we shared the cannolis (3 small with added cherry) the cherry was a nice touch. We are traveling through the area but would definitely stop by again for lunch or dinner. The Tuscan Pig is my favorite restaurant in general for a couple reasons. The customer service model Rudy has implemented is outstanding, consistent, and reliable. As a family we eat here at least once a month and every time you walk in the door wait staff is always in good spirits and seem motivated to provide us service. The quality of the food is outstanding and I doubt there are many restaurants in the area that provides such consistently delicious food on a daily basis long term. The personal touch you get by Rudy just caps off your dining experience. He is very attentive to the needs of his clients and he always comes up with the best suggestions on his menu pairings. This place was a gem to find! The menu has classics with a homestyle twist. It reminds me of going to an Italian mamas kitchen and letting her feed you until you burst with great food. The service was absolutely top notch! They were attentive and personable without being overbearing. You immediately feel like youve made friends from the owner to the busser. Everybody was wonderful! My wife and I took our granddaughter out to dinner and brought her to Tuscan Pig. This is truly a hidden gem in Longview. Service is excellent ( and that s a troublemaker area for Longview). The servers are well informed of all the items on the menu. There very polite. They take the dishes, when your done, cleared when your done. But best of all, Mr. Rudy the owner was at the door to greet and seat us when we came in. The food is true authentic Italian and you will not be disappointed. Aaron Bakers review is spot-on for Tuscon Pig Italian Kitchen... he tried all the speciality dishes. And they are very good. However, this evening I was dining with my wife who was taking me out to dinner on my 70th birthday. But she has a lot of food allergies and I have none. She prefers bland foods to avoid those allergic reactions. The food here is not bland. It is wonderful. In fact the speciality dishes reflect a very specific region of Italy. And I am not going to attempt telling you about the family history of the owner. He will come to your table and tell you. This evening was special because when we moved here 3 years ago during the Pandemic...my wife made a list of 12 restaurants in Longview she wanted to try... the Tuscan Pig was number one on that list. She sat there and told me again a wonderful story about a small Italian restaurant in New York City on a rainy evening with her friends...with the same character. And at night it was a trip back to New York City. This is a small family owned restaurant. Rudy will gladly tell you about his family speciality dishes. Each is unique. So I hope to come back and try the others. I photo the dishes and had an Italian beer that was good. If you were planning to take the whole family out with lots of kids to the national chain of Italian style restaurants on the loop. This might not be a good choice. This restaurant is classic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. I felt like my wife had driven me to New York City...or in my case to a small Italian restaurant in Dallas Texas which I miss very much. The food is very good. The service is very good. The vibe or feel is very good. My wife had no difficulty getting in with her rollator and the server paid close attention to her food allergies . She liked the place and wants to come back. Me too. Thanks for making my 70th a memorable night out.

I cant believe it took me so long to visit Tuscan Pig, but after our first time there will be many more to follow. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive and prompt. Went to eat dinner tonight at Tuscan Pig Italian Kitchen for a friends bday. Ive only had food from there once before and it was to go. Tonight was my first dine in experience. #overthetop our waitress was PHENOMENAL, the food is TO. DIE. FOR. everything was just so good. The owner made you feel so welcome and comfortable. In a time when customer service is a thing of the past and most places just want your money, its so nice to still find a place that makes you feel like they want you there. I know Ive been under a rock and most have known this for a while, but if youve never been I HIGHLY recommend for your next night out, date night, special occasion. This place is second to none! Not only is the food fantastic but the service and small touches absolutely set it over the top. We came in on Saturday night and were immediately greeted and seated by the owner. It was my parents first time and they were blown away! Immediately when seated at a tall table I was a bit worried as we have a toddler in a high chair and he immediately brought a tall high chair they had custom made for the tables! That level of care and genuine concern for the customers from the first two minutes let s you know you re in for a wonderful meal! He made a note on my daughters order to bring it out first since she was a tired 2 year old and even had it put in another dish so it wasn t too hot for her. You absolutely have to have the dipping sauce breads! It is nothing like the normal run of the mill garlic bread. Our table ended up with gnocchi, Alfredo with the Tuscan pork, chicken lasagna, kids Tuscan Mac and cheese and a meatball sandwich and it was all fantastic and plenty big of portion sizes! Already planning our next time there! 20/10!
