The person taking orders today 8/11/24 at 8:50pm in the drive through was very rude he said his machine to take cards is not working and we asked kindly if we could order there and pick up inside and pay inside since we were stuck there were cars in the front and back he rudely said I am not taking your order we had to ask the other cars to step out

I wanted a taco bowl to compare with another restaurant and was in the area. Several locations have closed in DFW area near where I live. Include interior photos. First time at this location. The menu seems different from what I remember but I havent been to TC in years. If you want salsa for your meal be sure to ask as it is NOT out in dining area to get on your own. Worth another visit and try something different on the menu. One nice feature was shaded parking spot on east side facing frontage road on hot summer day. And the bathrooms are only for customers and locked with key pad. Ask staff for code.

The absolute worst experience at any taco cabana I ve ever had staff is beyond rude and refused to give me what I paid for. I ordered a kickin grande nacho and these mf refused to give me any meat or other toppings when I asked the worker about it her reply was that s all you re going to get and I really had to fight the urge to throw it in her face.

Just went through the drive thru and order fajita tacos and requested pico de gallo. yall when I say this pico de gallo was rancid it was RANCID. Are yall trying to get people sick. With the news report recently of many big businesses closing due to the economy yall sure dont make it easy on yourselves to stay open. Your employees must not value their jobs at all considering the lack of jobs out there. My pico de gallo container was bulging meaning the contents inside was spoiled, it was really nasty. Not to mention now I have no salsa or anything to go with my dry tacos for lunch. Thanks a lot! Wasted money

We give this one in Lewisville, Texas a big fat 0.. it was horrible. Not only did we have to wait a ridiculous mouth of time , and there were only two couples and a single female. A total of five. No one in the drive through. So when I went up to ask I was horrified to see three ladys back there laughing using the same spoon on many different food items but scooping meet from out of a bag. It was gross and looked very unsanitary. When we finally got our food our rice was cold and rubbery beans were hot but my taco was sitting in grease but smelled and tasted like bacon. It was so gross. I almost got sick. My husband took about three bites and said lets get the hell out of here and hope we dont get sick. Heres to hoping. I guess you cant give it a zero so I give it a one but take it back.

This location does not pay enough attention to customer orders. This has caused me to waste additional time returning my order. I have visited this particular location twice in the last month for breakfast. On both occasions I have ordered the same simple thing (Chorizo taco-no eggs). My first visit, I received eggs and went back inside to have it corrected and then left, however the portion size was insultingly small, roughly the size of a table spoon. I returned and asked for a larger portion and was refused- stating that was the regulated portion. (Ive received larger portions at other locations) End result, my order was incorrect, I wasted additional time correcting the problem and I was not satisfied with the portion size compared to what I paid. Poor Customer Service The second visit, as one-offs do occur, I ordered the same thing. A #10 combo, no eggs, w/lemonade from the drive through at 7am. My order was incorrect again. Egss were added. I returned to correct the problem. This time I did receive a correct taco with a generous portion of Chorizo! However, I did not receive my lemonade. I did not have the time to return again as I was pressed for time. The end result, my order was incorrect, an item was missing and I wasted additional time correcting the problem. I was however satisfied with the compensatory portion size, so I applaud the improvement there. Because my time is valuable and this has happened consecutively, I struggle with the decision to give this location a 3rd try. It negatively impacted my time enough that I wanted to share my experience. Please use more care in receiving and executing your orders.

This location in Lewisville is a nightmare. They focus more on drive thru orders. If ur eating in or picking up, and you opt to go in the lobby, they dont even make eye contact and makes it look like they dont even see you. I ordered food from somewhere else, I just didn t order any drinks from there so I decided to stop at taco cabana for a Pepsi, I saw that they had margaritas to go, so I was like sure I ll try 1 of those too, was quickly told I had to buy food with the margarita which was fine, so I just told them to make it 2 Pepsi s instead, no margarita then, and was still refused service, was told I had to buy food to get my drinks. I have never been to any restaurant and was told I could not buy just drinks. They literally refused to sell me 2 soda s. I have never been treated so rudely at an establishment. The food was hit and miss, but it was overall good. In particular, their steak and chicken fajita tacos were excellent, and I would recommend them to any and all taco enjoyers. Unfortunately, the beef quality is par for the course, and the cheese is fairly lacking. The order experience is fast and clear, but nothing outstanding nor inviting. Lastly, the insides look barren and unpleasant. I almost thought the location was closed when I first walked in.

Update: 12/8/22 Nothing has changed service still trash this location will end up shut down! Tried again Saturday since idk how long an once again middle of the afternoon the dinning area was locked! Idk who owns this location but the staff of killing your business! This location would stay packed with cars an people eating on the patio a few years back! Worst TC location ever. I like TC in general, but I will never return to this place. The air conditioning doesnt work, the salsa bar was empty, and there was no ice in the soda machine. There was also clutter around the cash register, and BTW the payment/card reader machine was out of order as well. This is not the first time I have found this place in such a condition, but it used to be good, and I keep thinking they will bounce back after the pandemic troubles. Nope. The problem here is the management. When I asked whether I could taste the hatch chile margarita before ordering it, I was told, No. Silly me, I ordered it anyway because TC used to have a margarita with jalapeno that was delicious. Well, the hatch chile margarita was awful. It tasted like drinking frozen salsa. Yuck. When I asked to exchange it for another flavor, I was told, No. Hmmm... Other places will give you a taste of something before you have to commit to buying it, and I suggest TC do the same. Regardless, a group of friends was supposed to meet me there, but we moved the party elsewhere. This place

After stopping by 2 days ago, my husband and I found that all of this has changed. I usually go through the drive thru, but after seeing the inside, I wont even be doing that anymore. This is a huge disappointment because we love their food! First of all, after the guy took our order, he darted away so quickly, no thank you, and no smile, so I put his tip back in my wallet. Next, the beverage area was beyond dirty, it was plain nasty. Next, we stuck to the floor as we walked, and other customers were commenting on its stickyness as well. But, the last straw was when I watched one of the staff use the same damp cloth to wipe off several tables. No disinfectant spray or anything! Are my Taco Cabana days over? I hope not. Please, TC, train your staff on customer service and on the proper way to clean and disinfect a restaurant. Im hoping to be able to update this review more positively.

Ordered the new special carne asada street tacos. They are served on only one small corn tortilla which was raw, and the ingredients were cold. It was unappealing, unappetizing, and I threw them away after 1 bites. No one was available for me regarding my feedback, when I called guest services. I reached a recording that said my call was important, and they are available 24 hours a day, even on weekends and holidays, but then it just played hold music for the next 10 minutes until I got tired of waiting and hung up.

This location is trash. The manager is rude. Made my food wrong and when I requested it remade she was rude. Then left items out of my bag. When i went back to get the items she acted like i was trying to rob her for tacos. Save your money and time.

I had thee most delicious chicken tacos, they DONT skimp on the chicken either its so plentiful you can pile it high on each HOMEMADE taco, when you get the combination plate & with it comes your refried beans..... Give them a try you WONT be disappointed!

The food is always going to be great, but the friendliness may or may not be there. When we first moved here we went at 10:30PM not knowing it was closed, and the young people in the parking lot (workers who just got off thought it was funny we were sitting there). Lol, maybe it was. However, most of the time, like today, the drive through people will do the bare minimal in customer service. (The young man just handed me my card and did not say anything else.) They may greet you, they may not. They may say have a good day, they may not. Maybe they are short handed and stressed out like a lot of places right now, but there are other fast food places here in Lewisville that Taco Cabana can learn from in customer service. I realize good help is hard to come by, but I hope there can be more training opportunities for the staff.
