I go to boomerjack all the time the one star service is not for the bartender that we had outside she was amazing the monster service is for the front desk girl we told her we have a party and she said go look around and I said well we have a reservation so can you point us to and shes like oh I dont know how to work the iPad if you could go look around and I said well we got stuff to carry I dont want to look around can you let me know shes like oh I dont know I dont know how to work this literally open up the iPad and see.... I was like how hard is it to open up your iPad and just look just guide yourself through its not easy everybody knows technology but youre on your phone literally were all just like are you kidding me.... nothing towards the name itself or the bartender she was outstanding. a very good girl very fast knew what she was doing, but the hostess of fronts who loaded extra training means

Insanely loud. They had the volume of the games turned up so loud we couldn t even understand what the hostess was saying. We kept trying to ask her if it was always that loud and had to ask twice as she couldn t hear us. We looked at each other and left. Never seen anything like that. Pass .

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The place was nearly empty, which was surprising. Plant-based options seem to be a big miss on the menu, which was disappointing. Additionally, our waitress seemed uninterested in serving some of us, while she was noticeably more attentive and friendly to others in our group. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and left much to be desired.

The food was decent and well priced. The only downside was that nothing I had was seasoned very well. (However, the shrimp was really good) Everything was just a tad on the bland side. Specifically, the boneless wings. They just left something to be desired. All in all, the place was fun. The atmosphere was what saved the review. They have plenty of TVs and live music to help wash those drinks down.

Tae/Tay(spell check) phone etiquette is EXCEPTIONAL! . Made me confident that my food would be safe with Uber delivery. Unfortunately there was an error with Uber and Kendrick and the other manager gave me 0 hassle. Invited me n my family in to get it to satisfaction and above. Kendrick allowed me to take my time and figure it out. Gave me options because we have vegan food preferences. Just a very great clean CUSTOMER Service Excellence location. Went to Boomer Jacks for Mothers Day Lunch 2024. I and my youngest Daughter ordered the catfish, which wasnt good at all. Granted, fish is supposed to be fishy to a degree, but not that fishy. The tartar sauce wasnt like any tartar sauce Ive ever had and I dont mean that in a good way. My son in law ordered the brisket quesadillas and it was dry. The Mac and Cheese for the littles was dry and didnt appear to have much cheese on it. None of us finished our meals. The best part of the meal was the appetizers. We got the SW Egg Rolls and Loaded Cheese Fries which both were really good. My youngest Daughter and I had coupons for free appetizers for signing up on the app. When the server said she needed the codes, we were looking for them. She disappeared and returned about 20+ minutes later to get our orders and the codes for the appetizers. She was quite inattentive throughout our meal. It truly wasnt a good first impression.

This place is awful. The appetizers were the only okay part of our visit. We went for Mother s Day lunch and everyone who came in our party, disliked their meal. My mother and I ordered catfish and it was the most disgusting thing we ever tasted. The flavor of the fish and the tartar sauce was just horrible. We were convinced we got a bad batch. The fries were soggy. My husband ordered a brisket quesadilla and the brisket was dry and hard. Our kids had Mac&Cheese and the noodles were dry, with hardly any sauce. Our kids didn t even touch their food. Nobody in our party finished their food because it was so bad. Our visit here ruined Mother s Day for us. We were expecting something a lot better, especially for what y all charge. And our server was terrible as well. Barely talked and barely ever came to the table to see if we needed anything. We will never go back and will let others know this place is awful as well. Do better. I see why the parking lot was almost empty on a holiday, nobody likes your food. We should have taken that as a red flag as soon as we pulled in and went somewhere else.

I usually go up there after work its typically my happy hour spot with kayla D . she has a great attitude and delivers great service I have made new friends because of her. My buddy and i started going there just to spend our happy hour with her. When she gets off the clock we dont stay long because we don t get the same service. Personally it seems that the night time bartenders just want the tips and are not concerned with the generally atmosphere i can get that type of service anywhere. I d rather be around someone who sings and dances and trys to deliver the great experience every time. There is a lot of places to go to over there but kayla D makes it worth going.

This place was the worst experience I have ever had!! Me and my sister decided to go here because she had never been to boomerjacks before. Started out ok until they started messing up my food! First they messed up my sisters drink and we let that pass didn t fuss about it! Then the girl came out with our food and didn t even have the loaded fries that I had ordered at all! I asked her where my fry was that they didn t give it at all. She was like I m sorry, I said and just so you know I ordered a large, therefore they would not give her the wrong size and it would stop her from having to make two trips! The girl comes back with my fry about 10 minutes later and puts the fry on the table, looks at me and goes it s a small I hope that s ok!! I look at her and I say it s not ok cause yall are going to want to charge me for a large because that s what you wrote down that I ordered. She let out a big breath of air and I was like you know what don t even worry about it cause at that point the rest of my food was getting cold waiting on a dang order of fries to get done!! So then comes the pay they took me and my sisters card to pay our tabs just to come back and say all of a sudden their machines aren t acting right! They walked around with our cards on the waitress girl for like 20 minutes and my sister was like oh no I don t like that, they need to give us our cards back, so the girl comes back with our cards saying she tried to charge it multiple times but their system just isn t going to work! I then said oh no let me give you a different card cause I don t want my bank account messed up with you trying to charge my card multiple times! So I added the exact dollar amount to my cash app card and gave her that card instead. At this point the manager at least he claimed to be the manager, comes over and ask us to right our name and phone number down on this paper and he took our cards again to go and swipe them for the food! He comes back and tries to tell me that my payment for my order did not go through and I was like yes it did and I showed him the transaction where it posted to my account and then he was like yep I see it I apologize!! He then gave me and my sister some little $10 free meal things or something! So tell me why I check my cash app today and it s been 30 days and these people ran my card again for the same amount and over drew my cash app card!!!! Why 30 days later do you still have my card information and plus that batch should have already been closed!! Now I have to file a claim and it might close out my account and card which makes me have to wait for another card to come in the mail all because they doing stuff with my card that they shouldn t have been!!! Again WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND my worst enemy to this boomerjacks!!!

Nikki was the bartender tonight; NCAA mens basketball finals. Busy. I sat at one of the few available seats at the bar. She made eye contact and made a hand gesture to acknowledge me. Thats all I need to let me know that Im going to get service. Nikki answered my questions about the menu without looking around; her focus was on me for 2 minutes. Perfect. I ate dinner and engaged with strangers on both sides. Shots were bought. A good time was had. I will return, and i hope future experiences are up to the one I just had. Nikki set the bar high. Hit or miss with lady bartenders you happen to encounter. Clair is the best. Certain ones only cater to groups at bar but if youre alone they ignore you. Last time I ask if I could get some extra dressing twice and told yes and never received it. The bar was over half empty at the time. Very disappointing. We were sat in a booth which makes no sense to me in this place. All the booths are facing the opposite way to see the big screen without having to turn your neck. Then it takes our waitress FOREVER to get to our table just to take our drink order. We ordered wagyu burger and cali chicken sandwich. I was really disappointed to see that this is no more than a bubba frozen patty you get at Walmart. Why is that these restaurants think it s okay to charge people for frozen patties and then act like they are proud of them. Their handcut fries came out with no seasoning, cold and soggy. Lewisville BoomerJacks is by far the best in DFW. The servers are amazing and the food is great. During this visit a guest was having a medical emergency just before the Sunday Night Football rush. The staff did an incredible job taking care of the patron and family while making sure the rest was squared away. Game night tonight was awesome and Jordyn was incredible and attentive.

The food arrived to the table cold, despite it not being overly crowded or busy. Nachos were made with liquid cheese, not real shredded cheese. Burger was plain, fell off bun, and had zero flavor. Fries (both regular and sweet potato) arrived unseasoned and cold. Ketchup was dried out as if left under the heat lamp for an extended period. Waitress was minimally visible/present when items were needed. Only redeeming quality is cocktails, which are reasonably priced and decent tasting. Would not eat here again, might return solely for drinks.

Ordered pesto chicken. Was dry. Asked to be remade. Fail. Tried a burger. Med rare. Came out well. Didnt even bother to say anything n be annoying. Service was slow. Waited for drinks a long time. Bartender got the 2 orders on either side of me. Didnt ask if I wanted anything. Honestly not gna go back. It was pretty terrible.

Love the atmosphere and food here. Not the location due to the bartender and the manager James. We ordered a beer, the glass was dirty so we sent it back and watched the bar tender act a fool. She threw her hands up and was throwing things around in clear sight to our table. She then continued to stare and talk about us to other servers. Which resulted in them all staring and making side remarks by our table. We asked to speak with a manager about the situation. It took James 20 minutes to come to us after consulting with the bartender AND the servers making comments. He came over to us with a VERY poor attitude explaining there was only so much he could do. We will NEVER return to this location for personal or business purposes.

The food was good, not great just good. I ordered the Brisket sandwich. When I go to Jasons Deli or other sandwich style eatery I typically get enough meat on my sandwich to say I got meat. Jasons is I think especially good about ensuring you get a sufficient amount of meat. Thats important with a sandwich especially when the final tally on the ticket for 2 people is upwards of $35. Now, this review is not about Jasons Deli but I wanted to use a comparison. Another thing to consider about a few like Jasons Deli is there is no tip, typically. Now, Back to Boomerjacks. When my brisket sandwich got to the table I had to pick up the bread, which it is 2 standard size slices of bread, no boutique style oversizing to the slightest. So on 2 regular size slices of bread I had to lift up one-half of the sandwich and look under the bread slice to even see the brisket on my sandwich. It was very very lame. I was very hungry and I really dislike complaining so I wasnt in the mood to dicker over the quality of my sandwich so I sucked it up and just tried to enjoy what I had. The taste of the BBQd brisket was good but the lack of meat and subsequently lack of sandwich was a significant downer. It looked like something I would feed my 11yo granddaughter, not an adult, and certainly NOT an adult male. My wife got the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which was much more a sandwich portion that it should be so that was a plus. But, not sure how they cook their steak for the sandwich but much of the meat flavor is cooked out of the meat. Good thing is that they do give you a dipping bowl of the broth so you can dip it into the broth and get an injection of flavor. But, that makes your bread very soggy. I mean it improves the taste but kills the consistency of the sandwich. It had close to a sufficient amount of the peppers/fixings but it was still a bit sparing. I see this happened more and more as I sense that stores are cutting back on as much as they think they can get away with in portioning food and charging for things that have traditionally been complimentary in order to compensate for this horrid Biden economy and to some degree I understand, but I cant give them a pass on very little meat on their brisket sandwich which is already small in the first place, nor can I endorse cooking the meat on the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich to the point where you have to soak it in the broth to get the flavor of the meat back into the sandwich. Gordon Ramsey would not be impressed! I really liked the atmosphere, the new modern looking decor. It had a lot of well placed screens throughout but the volume inside the place well contributed by the volume of the one channel that they had the audio sourced from was prohibitively loud. We actually wanted to sit in there for an hour or more because we were trying to kill a bit of time between engagements, and we were enjoying the $3 domestic beer, but it was so loud we decided to just kill that extra hour in the car. I would suggest using a decibel level meter and try and keep the median loudness at a safe and livable level. Hey, we know its a sports oriented restaurant and that it has large capacity seating but the median loudness can still be mitigated with a bit of effort by management! We typically frequent the Boomerjacks in Murphy and the loudness there has never really been a problem as I can remember. It was the first time we (my wife and I) have ordered the Brisket Sandwich and the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich so unfortunately I cant give a comparison. Weve had a few minor issues that I want to say weve been able to clear up at the Murphy location, but these days issues just seem to be a fact of life. People just dont do things as well as they used to especially in the food, service and hospitality industry. My thing is, one, is it inherently instilled in the manner in which something is done, food is prepared and things like that, or two, is it the management, kitchen or wait staff. Either way as long as the store is willing to make good on a complaint were good too!

Wait staff does a great job of attending to many guests at a time. The food is always deliciously crispy, definitely a place to eat food in-person. Lots of screens (and a BIG one) with a few different ballgames on. Kid-friendliness: Its loud and messy, kids will fit right in, if they like bar food.

Well i stopped by here last night to eat, talk about no customer service, i get the concept, but we waited 15 mins just to get silerware, drink order 15 mins, food another 20 mins. Food is ok,i dont know when they opened but the the only thing good was the people in there and the set up with all the tvs and bar, other than that service is horrible, im sure i wont be back be a good while.

Food was really disappointing. I ordered boneless wings and got two different sauces/rubs, Garlic Parm and Lemon Pepper. When the food came out there was literal parm cheese sprinkled all over my wings. Very strange, tried it and confirmed terrible. Sauce itself tasted unlike any other garlic parm I had before and not in a good way. The Lemon Pepper wasn t great either. Others at my table also didn t enjoy their food. One ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and the sauce was so dry and the chicken as though it had been sitting under the heat lamp for several minutes drying it out. Barely anyone touched their food and server never even came to quality check. Once she finally came to clear our food when we asked for the bill she didn t bother to even ask why we didn t want boxes for completely full plates with food barely touched. Food was a disaster and service was lacking. At least the tvs were great for football but that s about it. Won t be returning to this chain restaurant anytime soon.
