He came up with a game plan right away. He was able to change the protection order within a very short time frame, so I can be home with my kids. The bottom-line with Attorney David Breston is he actually cares! He s proactive, diligent and most importantly to me, RESPONSIVE! I never felt like I was ignored or my concerns being dismissed. Kept telling me my case will be thrown out and got me doing papers for a year plus 7k in court fees . He kept sending someone else saying I can t make it there s another case I have to be at I trusted him to help me from his word, recommended by someone else and the person he kept sending to fight my case kept saying the complete opposite in front of the judge instead of defending my case. Had a family member detained by immigration when flying in through IAH. He had a permanent resident card but due to his criminal record he had been detained and served with a deportation. I reached out to many attorneys on a Sunday the day of his detention. David answered me the same day and started helping me immediately. I spoke with 3 other attorneys and picked David due to his knowledge and professionalism. He pushed things very fast and we were able to have the merit court in a little over a month. This was honestly one of the best lawyers we have encountered. From the start David Breston was able to make calls letting us know the difficulty of the case and how long the process could take. In no time he was able to help us get my father back into court and reduce his felony charge to a misdemeanor. We had talked to other lawyers but they all made excuses because my father was taken into immigration custody and said his case could not be resolved. This is an overdue review. But I feel I must post it just in case it helps some one else that may be in a urgent situation and needs help, as I was. I had a difficult and complicated immigration case. It involved a previous differed adjudication case from several years ago. I consulted an attorney who started the process of green card renewal. After a a couple of months he called me into his office and was honest with me, he told me he could not take the case, it was too complicated and he believed it would be very unlikely we would get a good outcome. He returned all my money back and wished me well. I thought this is it; maybe there isnt anything that can be done. Several months later I decided to try again and this time started looking for a different attorney. I came across attorney David Breston. I read some of his reviews and how his knowledge of criminal and immigration law work together. I schedule a meeting and hoped he could help me or lead me in the right direction. I had all the previous documents that I had gathered and given to the first attorney with me so he was able to read the court transcripts and asked me a few questions. He said he would take my case and stated he didnt believe it would be a problem because my court case was before they changed a new law. He also encouraged me to apply for citizenship. Which I never thought was a possibility. I was expecting him to charge a large sum for his services, but to my surprise he was very reasonable. That was in October 2021. By December I was going to the local office for fingerprints. Hes office called about every 2 months to keep me updated. July 2022 I had my citizenship interview, Mr. Breston was not able to attend that interview with me because he had a criminal case in court, but another attorney from the office did attend. He was there in a timely manner and was knowledgeable about my case. He was also encouraging me and telling me to relax and he would be right there in case there was an issue. The interview went well and the immigration officer said he was recommending approval of my application. The interviewing immigration officer as well as the attorney said congratulations, but I was still not convinced since it still needing to be reviewed. I waited anxiously for a response, trying to stay positive. Finally his office called me and gave me the good news. January 11th 2023 I went for my swearing in ceremony. Attorney Breston and all of the staff were so helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I cannot thank them enough. All I was hoping for was to be able to renew my green card and instead I was able to achieve citizenship. If you need immigration assistance please reach out to them. They are fantastic!! I highly recommend Mr. Breston to anyone seeking a criminal defense attorney. I was impressed from the initial consultation, and he went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I retained Mr. Breston for a motion for early release from deferred adjudication, in an out of county case. He was attentive and consistently assisted with navigating between probation offices in two counties. His office presented our motion flawlessly, and received praise from the judge and prosecutor during the hearing. My sentence was reduced by 18 months, and several conditions were amended as well. He sure was quick to take my money but did nothing at all for my husbands case. First his associate when to the wrong facility n visited the wrong inmate then had the nerve to ask about my husbands mental heath. Then didnt even remember meeting me when I seen him at the court hearin. After that he just didnt show up for the next hearing and told me to get my payments caught up after I paid over half of 4000$ he has absolutely done nothing for this simple uumv charge. Very dissatisfied.

Sadly I was told my case could be brought down to a different charge and it wasn t , I was upfront with him about what I was facing and what my case was about even if it was difficult ,still felt short on the promise he sold me. David Breston gave me the quickest expungement(called expunction in Texas). I was at a young age(early 20s) and told him about how my mom passed away and left money for me to clean my record and hire a lawyer. No one was hiring me. He charged me a cheaper price and helped me as soon as possible. Changed my life, and now, I work at a laboratory(where I would not be approved to work if I did not have this), and my life is great! I needed a copy of my expunction after years of needed it for an immigration process. I filed for a consultation at night, and he called me through his phone personally minutes later. I hired Mr. Breston not knowing if he would be able to help. My husband had been detained in another county. And not a county a couple a miles away. This was about 6 hours away for an outstanding warrant from Houston . Since our first conversation he assured me that this felony charge was trash and would be dismissed and he sure did. He brought me into the office and he explained everything in detail. His staff would always respond to any questions I had. In about 3 weeks this night mare was over he was able to dismiss the case. Since we first came with Mr. Breston he took action right away. From lowering the bail bond (250k) to just having to pay 2,500. Representing and defending my grandfather in court, then filling a motion to quash and set aside the charges/case. Which got granted by the judge. David Breston is where you want to put your money, and who you would want to entrust your freedom to. My loved one first encountered Mr. Breston when arrested in Fort Bend County for a Harris County felony warrant. Mr. Breston facilitated an out of county bond by giving me a phone number to a Fort Bend Bondsman to call and give HIS name to, and within 48 hours Harris County had the bond to begin the process of getting my loved one home. Once home, David then represented my loved one (who is a very, very, very difficult person to work with) on the felony robbery that he was presently on deferred adjudication for / warrant, in addition to a new felony charge for assault. He threatened to sign-off on the cases due to my loved ones uncooperativeness and behavior, but he expressed to me that he really wanted to help my, so he instead worked with me through the end of his two felony cases. His fees were lower than any other attorney Id consulted within Harris County, and he allowed me to pay through a monthly payment plan that was affordable for my budget. The agony he endured trying to represent my loved one would certainly justify a significant price increase, but the price he initially quoted never changed. He fought with the same tenacity from beginning to end as though he was one of the overpriced and less competent attorneys you ve likely consulted with. Just a lil insight-my loved ones criminal history include 2 PRIOR felony convictions out of Harris County with numerous misdemeanor convictions. David Breston got the felony robbery that he was on deferred for DISMISSED...and... got the new felony assault charge DISMISSED! Every call I placed to his office was returned within 4 hours with every question and concern addressed, and he provided unsolicited updates along the way. In addition to all of this, I contacted Mr. Breston to represent my loved one on yet another out-of-county felony charge, and while he was unable to represent him, he did refer us to a phenomenal Travis County Criminal Defense Attorney whom he regarded as his mentor, who has obviously coached Mr. Breston very well according to his own personal practices and experiences. So, youll also gain access to a network of attorneys with the same professional ethics as David Breston. I hope this helps someone because I know that searching the internet for a good attorney is pretty much a gamble. From five-star reviews with only two sentences to say why they gave five-stars, or countless advertisements from attorneys with edited and filtered reviews on their sites, that are looking to get rich quick off every client the encounter, I m sure you ve wasted enough time searching. They were able to get a charge dropped and allowed me to keep my freedom without David and his firm I would probably be in jail right now, Very grateful for all him and his firm have done for me nothing but respect and gratitude. Let my just say I never leave a review for anything, good or bad. This situation has been some what a miracle, so I have to share and give a shout out to THE MAN W/ THE PLAN!! David Breston is FREAKING AWESOME!!!! A family member of mine HAD 8 pending Charges. Very serious charges!! He was able to avoid trail and reduce the 8 pending charges to 1 charge. Mr. Breston exceeded all of our expectations. The family member I am speaking of will be home within 7 months. If David didnt step in when he did, he would have been facing at least 15 yrs. Before finding Mr.Breston, we were struggling to find good help. Im am so so so happy we came across David. GOD knows!! We will forever be grateful for his services.

A friend of mine was facing felony charges and I was exhausting all avenues talking to lawyers who seemed to only worry about the amount of money it would cost to hire their services...not here. A friend of mine got into some very serious trouble including ignoring her probation. When she was pulled over for a traffic violation the officers immediately took her into custody. There was no bail and she mentally climbed into a big black pit. Mr. Breston was able to reach down and help her out of that dark pit and she has regained her footing. I hired Mr. Breston to be present in a meeting that took less than 1 hr. I paid him $1,500. He said he would return most of my money as it took so little effort and time. I have made several requests in email and over the phone requesting the credit as he said to. All requests over the last year have been unanswered.

Honestly it was a great experience. David Breston was able to get my theft ticket off my record. His team were very helpful and nice with everything and I would honestly recommend him to anyone. And if anyone wants to know my ticket in case they have something similar Im a young kid with a theft ticket and they were easily able dismissed my case and fully wipe it out of my records
