I recently dined at Manny s Tex-Mex in Sachse, and while the food was solid, the service left much to be desired. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service didn t quite match up. When I asked our waiter for more salsa, he seemed to forget, so I had to ask another server several minutes later. The same issue occurred when I requested more chips. The chips we initially received were not hot or warm, which was a bit disappointing. After waiting, I had to get another gentleman to bring us the extra chips we needed. Despite the hiccups with service, the food itself was good. The flavors were on point and the portions were generous. However, when you re dealing with slow and forgetful service, it can take away from the overall dining experience. Here are things that are important to me when I go to a restaurant: - Cleanliness of the restrooms - 5 star for this location - Cleanliness of the store itself - 5 star for this location - Customer Service - 3 star for this location - Working Tap at the register - 0 star for this location (The same waiter that forgot to bring our salsa emphatically said, we dont do tap. I tried to explain but he cut me off that they just dont do tap . I wanted to tell him its 2024! ) Manny s Tex-Mex has potential, and I m hopeful that my experience was an anomaly. If the service improves, this place could be a great spot for Tex-Mex lovers. For now, I ll consider giving it another shot, but with a cautious approach.

Both are great but the chef special is probably my favorite as its also a bit unique from other Tex Mex places. Its a perfectly grilled, tender and juicy chicken breast with a delectable sour cream sauce and melted cheese. The Blanco queso is my favorite starter. Oh and the atmosphere is really cool with a nice bar too.

Just tried this spot, and it was pretty good! The tableside guacamole and salsa were delicious, and we both really enjoyed our frozen margaritas. We came here for take out food this last Monday. My brother, I and my toddler got food poisoning. We ordered the quesadilla with chicken and the beef fajitas. It s now Wednesday, and we re starting to recover. If they prepared and stored the food properly this could ve been avoided.

Absolutely awesome lunch! Sat at the bar, which was beautiful and comfortable. Was greeted with a smile and a very friendly waitress. Got a cold draft beer in my hand and struggled to make a decision with the menu that was stuffed with so many options that all made my mouth water to even consider. Buckled down and decided to give the three enchiladas plate a try. Not going to lie, it looked a bit glitzy, maybe too pretty to be good Tex-mex...I was happily surprised at just how good each enchilada was! Each with its own ingredients were easily some of the best enchiladas I have had, and Ive had a lot of enchiladas from one coast of the United States to the other. This place is absolutely top notch! The chips and salsa perfectly tides you over while waiting for your entrée. The environment is clean and comfortable, and I didnt have to wait for service once. The staff were attentive and cheerful and made this a great experience. To top it all off....the price of it all made me happy enough to make sure I wrote a fabulous review. I highly recommend this place to anyone hungry for good food and a comfortable clean environment. I will be back soon to try other options as this place has found a solid place in my heart!
