Update: I have been here several times since my original post - somehow it wasnt posted. Anyway. Im still very happy - there are so many nails salons near me but I still choose to drive 15 minutes because Im so i.lressed with them. This was my original post..... My fingers and toes are so pretty! They do fantastic work with dip nails and my Pedi was so relaxing. The girls are super sweet, with an overall comfortable vibe there. My dip nails last a long time. I love that they dont overdrill. Also very clean when they werent working with clients they were busy cleaning.

I started coming here several month ago after going to another place and left so many times not happy. Let me tell you I am so happy I did. I have always left so happy. Linh does my nails each time and does an amazing job and is very patient when I am indecisive on what I want, the last 2 time I went there I have picked the color and have let her do a design of her choice and have always loved them! She has gotten down how exactly I like my nails from the length to the shape so I do not have to tell her, she always makes me feel so comfortable. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I do not have a single negative thing to say. Thank you for everything! You have a customer for life!

The staff here has amazing customer service! This day in age good quality customer service is hard to come by and the atmosphere here is refreshing. They are welcoming, accommodating, and just overall very friendly and a pleasure to be around. They do really great work on your feet (even just the basic package.) Definitely will be our new go to.

I got a pedicure a few weeks ago. I wasn t able to write a review until now because I was sick with COVID. However, this is NOT a place I would recommend despite the pretty interior. Phoebe gave me a manicure and pedicure and it ended disastrous. While doing my pedicure, she cut my big toe deeply with a tool. Instead of her applying pressure to stop the bleeding, she continued to paint around my toenail, putting some green drops on for disinfectant. My toe was still bleeding 25 MINUTES later! My toe still hurts to walk on. The biggest issue I have is that these nail techs are trained on how to stop bleeding and disinfectant procedures, which she did not follow. (She even told me how her school kept making her do disinfectant procedures, only for her to do this to me). She continued to paint my toes and literally painting around my toes. I told her about it and she just used more disinfectant. I watched her become more and more irritated and rush through the rest of the process. When she was done, I had dried blood under my entire foot. I had to SCRUB my own foot to clean off the dried blood that she left on there! This is unacceptable!! If I m being honest, this is enough for me to turn her/Lycoris in to the TDLR (Tx Dept of Licensing & Regulations) because she didn t follow procedure and the manager did not uphold any standards. On top of that, she didn t do pink and white nails, she painted on a French manicure and charged me an extra $5 for something I didn t ask for. You can see where my nail is misshapen and also the white had started to come off my nails. This wouldn t have happened with pink & white, which is what I asked for. When I told the manager, he apologized and offered me $5 off. So basically I got $5 off for the French manicure that I didn t ask for in the first place. This was not handled correctly at all. Not following procedure is how people get infections or even worse. I didn t get what I asked for, I didn t get what I paid for, and I am overall just hurt and disappointed with the service and treatment that I received. Again, I do NOT recommend this place. If they can be this careless and callous with me, they will do the same thing to you. Requested style: I requested pink & white nails, but instead got French manicure in which I was up-charged for. Stylist: Phoebe was my nail tech and I do not recommend. She needs to be retrained on how to actually do her job and not leave her client bleeding and open to infections and severe foot pain.

Very friendly staff. There are plenty of colors. It could use better ventilation as sometimes the chemical smell is pretty strong. Dip powder nails are really good and last a good amount of time. However, every time I get a pedicure, it doesnt last long. The paint chips and peels off within a week. I get the same regular polish pedicure at other locations, and it lasts longer than 1 week.

I m a gay man, and I expect to be treated fairly. It s not fair that it s 2024 and there s still discrimination in this community. Upon walking in I was told it would be a 30 min wait. Which was fine, but what wasn t fine is that another lady came in with no appointment and she was able to be seated. I asked the gentleman why am I still waiting and I was here before the lady. He stated I only have 2 nail techs that will do your hands. I said what does that mean, he process to say nothing sir they will be right with you. The level of disrespect and disappointment is beyond me. I immediately left hurt not because I couldn t get service but at the mindset.

Called ahead of time to book an appointment, once I get there, they sat me in a chair to soak my nails. Then tells me I don t have an appointment, when I had the proof and the name of the lady I spoke with. I pacifically had an appointment with Lynn but I guess because I only wanted my nails done she rather had took the lady that wanted both. The point is don t make an appoinment, then once someone gets there you act as if they don t have an appointment when the proof is all there. Never again and I will def be posting about it socially.

My feet looked bad and needed a pedicure desperately. I called ahead to see if an appointment was required because places are busy on the weekend. This nail shop is new in Old Town Lewisville. The reviews were good and I decided to come in. The nail technician did not disappoint. I opted for the Pedicure in a box which come with a hot stone message of the legs. Im 100% satisfied with the work, level of professionalism and courteous service. They also have a kiosk to check in on to get points. I look forward to returning soon!

Totally disappointed.. first time I went the lady with the tattoo of a tree on phone line.. which represents her home country awesome job. She told me to book online next time or call in.. so I did thinking I would get her but I didn t. The tech didn t know how to do ombré and wanted to spray a gel on top of the do nail. Ive done ombré at other nail salons so ik how it should be done. 2nd the tech finished said two minutes and walked away. No lotion, no oil & no instructions on when I can go wash my hands. 3rd walked out and my dip nail is ALREADY messed up $55. Waisted! After they commented I felted like I needed to add more because I can t stand a LIAR! One I booked online and I did not call in. 2nd I ve been to plenty of places that I m able to show a pic and they can deliver. Sorry your shop doesn t have the skills. 3rd I did not waste 45 mins picking colors and other places pick the colors for me and they show me and we all agree. Yes y all did spray paint a sample to show me how it would look and you did ask me to pick a new picture/design. I came in wanting what I wanted. You can t deliver and ask me to pick something else is horrible! I ve added the picture of what I wanted and what they couldn t do! Know everything before you add a comment about your customers!

I called before coming in. I asked if I could make an appointment or come in, he said I can do either, I asked if I can come in within 12 min and he said 2:45 or 3 is better. I said I couldn t so I he agreed to 2:15 for me. Once arrived, it was A bit rushed to sit down as soon as I came in and to pick out my color. They charge $5 extra to take off dip nails even when you are getting a new set that is Gel or Dip. I Paid 55 total/ for Dip plus Crome-$15 extra. Not including manicure but if I got only Gel it would include a manicure. Which sucks. I feel like they should include a manicure on dip either way On all types of services, at any salon it should be included lol. I loved the color at the end even though they did not have my original color in mind. They were out of a lot of chrome colors that were nude/ pink without a green hue. So I picked a dark brown which needed up looking grey brown. But I liked it, but she did a light chrome layer and resulted in splotchy layer where I can see the white underneath and glue and crumbs were left under my nails, which some salons do take off and make sure all the glue is off with a cotton and the drill under your nail, and for me some color from the chrome as left. This is a huge pet peeve when you are super detailed. I feel like we pay so much for nails, they just wanna charge more for every little thing and its ridiculous that they don t even put so much detail in your service, and I feel like if we stand up as women and men and claim what we pay for, things would change in the nail industry here in Texas! The shape for the nails were not exact on length or shape. They were nice but rushed and I really hope they better their service because this is an issue with so many salons. They post the perfect pictures to draw you in but you don t get the same results on your nails. I still can t find a good stop since 2020 yay me.

Mia did a fantastic job on my nails. She was fast and efficient, and still provided excellent service. My nails were the exact length and shape I requested, without having to give any further suggestions. I appreciated the atmosphere. The lights werent too bright, and the music was soft. The location was easy to see from the road. Overall, Im very pleased, which doesnt happen very often for me at a nail salon. I will definitely be back. Update: Ive been coming to this salon regularly for several months now, and they always produce FLAWLESS results! Every tech. Every time. Every nail is uniform. No big bumps at the cuticle. Perfectly smooth nail surface. I love how the techs will correct a flaw rather than try to hide it. I will never go anywhere else.

Would not recommend. Kevin, one of the owners just hung up in my face after trying to schedule an appointment that was convenient for both parties. This is after he abruptly snatched the phone from a worker who was scheduling my appointment for today originally at 4p but all of a sudden, once he got on the phone, that time was no longer available. I m a busy professional that has patronized this establishment a few times before and each time they were rude. It is safe to say, I do not feel comfortable due to the mistreatment being a woman of color who pays top dollar for her nails & toes to be negatively and rudely treated. I hate that the industry has become this whereas this specific ethnicity feel it ok to aggressively mishandle my kind. I m a genuine person but enough is enough. Kevin the owner is rude and Mia, to put me on someone else the last time I specifically booked her is a total disregard and rude while she sat and got her pedicure done as if I m the owner/boss and my workers can do your service, I don t feel like it. Please be aware. The so called friendliness is a fraud. How disrespectful Kevin to just hang up in my face after you messed up my timing and I tried to reschedule accordingly to my schedule.

Just relocated back to Dallas from New Orleans and was looking for a nail shop to get my birthday nails done. The reviews did not lie! This was one of the best nail shop experiences I ve had. Opened promptly, greeted and seated immediately, offered a beverage, the young lady who did my full set (so sorry, I did not get her name ) was genuinely interested in what I wanted. She was thorough with options (curved or straight tips, color options to get desired look, etc.), and even finished with a quick hand massage while the young man who did my pedicure was efficient and polite. Bonus: great playlist in the background (SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Summer Walker, etc.). I was in and out with both services in about an hour and 15 minutes. She even took a pic of the finished product which I hope came out good with my naturally awkward hand placement, lol

This is an amazing family owned nail salon, that is super clean, goes above and beyond, the techs have genuine conversations with you, and when I accidentally dropped and broke a nail polish they refused to let me pay for it or tip $10 extra, they refused. I insisted, and because it s my birthday month, one of the owners gave me a discount, and so even when I tipped him extra, I still paid less than I normally do.

I just got my nails done for prom and they look fantastic! I decided to try out this place after having a bad experience at a different nail salon and they didnt disappoint. Great first experience @Lycoris. Greeted and welcomed in. Everyone was very kind and helpful in making sure we were comfortable before starting our mail treatments. Beverages were offered and the environment is clean and tasteful. Mani/ pedi was relaxing and my nails look great! Will definitely be back!

Made and appointment on Saturday to see Mia to get my nails filled and requested the first set (pink shirt). Mia didn t had not had lunch yet and I was passed on to another nail tech. That nail tech did a good job but unfortunately come Monday morning, the color on my thumb was already chipping. I called as soon as the salon opened and asked if I could go in and get this fixed. Mia was very accommodating and took me right away. I asked to change the design (pic with sleeve) and fix my apex as some of my nails were too flat and some were lumpy. Mia was very sweet, took her time and made sure I was happy with every step along the way. And to top it off, she didn t even charge me despite me requesting a lot of changes. I am so glad I came in. The salon was so clean, very hygienic, and everyone was very nice. I can t wait to come back and see Mia again! Please come see this salon!

Mia, the owner, was amazing and incredibly helpful! She was more than ready to help me in finding exactly what I wanted and she was able to do things other salons didn t dare to! Most salons don t have nearly as large a selection of colors, nail charms, and nail stickers! This design and charm work was no easy feat and Mia did it with ease and care! I had a general idea of what I wanted and I let her freestyle the rest. As you can see, she did an AMAZING job!! I will absolutely be back and bringing all my friends to Lycoris Nail Lounge! If a candy store was a nail salon, it would be this one! Upon entering the salon, I was welcomed and seated promptly by Mia, the owner. I was offered a complimentary beverage as well. Her salon is professional and clean just like her nail application. She specializes in the dip powder process and the process was flawless. As we were talking about my design, I showed her an image of my nail inspiration from Pinterest. We browsed through a book that showed multiple colored nails, and a container full of stones and stickers. I loved that I had so many options to choose from. I used the picture as a starting point but to add my own flair, I requested a hot pink french tip with a sticker design and rhinestones on top. She recreated the design beautifully. I love that she is patient, listens to your needs, and is swift and precise with her nail application. I want to say thank you to Mia. I will be back to receive more work from her.

Absolutely love this place! Me and my friends were looking to get our nails done last minute and they took us in and we re so sweet. I came across this nail salon that just got a new owner, and it was the best experience I ve ever had at a nail salon. I am always so picky with my nails, but the owner made sure to do everything so perfectly! She was very gentle, left me with no cuts, and they look so natural which is what I love. I recommend everyone to try this place out you won t be disappointed!

I m so glad I tried this place out. Super cute salon. The inside is beautiful and very sanitary. The ladies there are so nice and know what they are doing. I got a full set with gel polish and it came out perfect and I m a very picky person because I used to do nails myself. My set was perfect. How she painted my nails was perfect. Absolutely am in love this place. Will definitely come back and bring a friend for pedicures.

I came here a few nights ago, I asked for French tip with a matte color. I was given a French tip but on my already VERY short nails, I expected acrylics to be put on. Even though the lady who did my nails was very sweet, she filed down my nails even more, even some of my skin, which of course hurt very much. The French tip she did was beautiful, but far from what I wanted. I paid $40 for her to do this to my hands which I don t believe I should ve paid that much or paid at all. My appointment was at 6:30 and she didn t get in front of me until after they were already closed, which made me believe she was in a rush to get home, understandably. I went home and cried and went somewhere else the very next day where the man definitely understood exactly what I wanted. Here, I posted the white tip before and after pictures. I will definitely be going to the place that fixed my nails! If you zoom in on the picture with my right hand, you can see how short my nails were left on my pinky and ring fingers.

I visited Lycoris Nail Lounge for the first time today! If I could give 10 Stars I definitely would!!!! We relocated and I was looking for a place closer so I would not have to drive 40-45 minutes. I looked on Google and there werent many reviews but all of the reviews were 5 Stars so I decided to set up an appointment. So very happy I did! Lycoris recently opened up about 4 months ago. The moment I walked in the door the hospitality was out of this world. The owners Kalvin and Lynn were Amazing and so was the nail specialist Kathy!! I was welcomed and Everyone was so friendly! Such a beautiful nail lounge, very clean, and the quality of service I received was above the rest! This is my go to place now and its only five minutes away. Kathy did my dip nails and Lynn did my pedicure. My nails and feet look Amazing! If you have the opportunity to visit this hidden gem you will not be disappointed at all. I left with a big smile! Massage chairs, margaritas, and more! I walked in on a week night for a spontaneous pedicure. I got the luxury which included a soak, scrub, massage and more but I zoned out so much in my state of relaxation that I can t recall details, but my feet and legs look and feel amazing! The ambience of the place is fantastic. Makes for a great, short getaway and I will definitely be back again!
