IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH Bethel Zehaie as your hired attorney KEEP ALL OF YOUR DOCUMENTATION AND IMMEDIATELY FILE A FORMAL GRIEVANCE/COMPLAINT with the STATE BAR. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write about my personal experience with Bethel Zehaie, after I read the reviews from Nathan Murrell, Patrice Jones, etc. I signed a contract with Bethel Zehaie in December of 2022. She was hired and paid by me to handle my SAPCR and Child Support Enforcement Case with my child s father. The Final Hearing for my SAPCR was in April of 2023 and although the judges and I kept asking for the final orders to be filed, she never completed them until August of 2023, (similar to Nathan Murrell s experience with her), so I know he isn t lying. Now, I am waiting for Bethel Zehaie to fill out and file a $8 form with the court that would move my child support enforcement case along. (The Judges, Court Coordinators, and Attorney General have consistently informed me that only Bethel Zehaie can do this as the attorney on my case.) I have volunteered to meet her at the court and pay the $8 fee with her at the court to get this done and she has consistently lied and stood me up each time.The last time she was scheduled to meet with me to get this done was July 1, 2024 she texted me from a different number saying that she got a new phone number over the weekend. (just like Nathan Murrell stated in his review) and that she had another hearing to attend in Ellis County. At this present moment she has completely vanished and isn t responding to any of my emails or text messages, nor any communication or inquiries from the court, or the Attorney General, regarding my child support enforcement case. The last email she sent me was an email just this week August 12, 2024 at 11:46am asking me when was a good day and time for she and I to talk about my case, and after I immediately responded to her email with the date and time, she NEVER followed through which is extremely TYPICAL behavior for her. I have asked Bethel (in writing) if she wants to withdraw from my child support case, (although I would prefer that she simply act with some integrity keep her word to see my case all the way through as I hired and paid her to do), but she hasn t responded BECAUSE she knows that I have complied with EVERYTHING that she has asked me to do as her client, as well as what the court/judges have asked me to do. Bethel Zehaie has just dropped the ball on my child support enforcement case without any form of communication as to why. I have a hearing on August 21, 2024 and I am unsure that she will even attend it which is outright unethical and unprofessional of her as an attorney. Court personnel are asking me where is my attorney Bethel Zehaie and I don t have a clue where she is or what is happening with my case. When you hire an attorney, you want to hire an attorney that communicates well and consistently, shows up for EVERY hearing on your case, without you having to tell him or her that you have a court hearing because your attorney will ALWAYS be notified of any hearings on your case as well as receive all correspondence regarding your case. Try to choose an attorney that not only speaks but acts with INTEGRITY and HONESTY and that will see your case ALL THE WAY THROUGH. My prayer for Bethel Zehaie is that she learns to treat her clients right and work on improving her short comings.You will never truly be successful as an attorney or even a mere human being in this world by mistreating/mishandling people who have signed contracts with you, paid you, and trusted you with some of their most difficult times in life. I dont see how anyone could give a 5 star rating other than her telling or asking you to do so. Just like the one review I read. I hired Bethel to handle my divorce approaching 1 year ago. I paid her $1500 to get started. 4 months later, I finally see my papers. Thats pretty much where we are today. Her lack of progress and communication is beyond disappointing! The last time I attempted to contact Ms. Zehaie via text. I got a reply stating that her number is no longer accepting messages from my number! Via phone call: same thing, her number is no longer accepting calls from my number! So I sent an email to which she replied: No, youre not blocked. Ive gotten a whole new contact number, which I will send to you later. I still, to this day, have not received that new contact number. So I sent another email expressing my anger and disappointment to which she still has not responded to! This is very unprofessional as an attorney! I am now seeking new council and have started the process of filing a formal complaint!!!

This lady is a something else took my bf money twice and stop answering the phone, My bf ended up in Jail for the false information she kept providing didn t answer the phone none he was locked up, so I was left with no help, had to get a bails bonds, What makes it so bad my bf got his paper work once he was released she was not listed on none of his paperwork as his attorney shaking my head , This lady text back the next day saying she was sick that s why she didn t respond but talked to my bf that same day and said she was at her daughter cheer championship competition and hung up on him, he kept trying to get in contact with her she kept texting back saying she would call him never called, so we been trying to get refund for unearned income that she received from him and she refused to do so, now we have to spend more money a different attorney , money on a new attorney to seek legal action against her because she refused to refund him back haven t did anything to help him. Save your money she bad for business.

I was charged with a 4th DWI, this angel negotiated a probation sentence with the court. She has an amazing way with people. I suffer from severe anxiety and she was so patient and kind. I cant say enough good things about her. She is responsive and calming and professional. She makes you go the extra mile and is so encouraging, especially when you think all is lost. I worked through programs and actually became sober and able to serve my sentence as a probationer. She is very reasonable on cost. I appreciate her casualness and so very down to earth. Update update as of November 19th my daughter is still missing still have not heard anything. Filed a police report back in October of her missing. Still cant believe a lawyer comments so quickly on a Google review but couldnt find time in 3 months to communicate with me after my daughter had given her permission to. Cant believe that her comment was your daughter received a very good deal for the situation. She knew she was homeless She knew she had mental health issues and still thought it was an awesome deal to send her back to the streets with no home no phone and no way to pay the $80 a month for probation. They set her up for failure. Yes Im sure shes an excellent lawyer if shes getting paid. Or if she doesnt have to go that extra mile and communicate with her clients family. So they can assist their family member. Update to the lawyers answer. Because she did not communicate with me before my daughters case. We were unprepared for her to be released the next day. And now is on the streets again. Homeless, no phone. No way to pay the $80 a month for probation. No way to get back and forth to probation. Shes technically a missing person. Had the lawyer communicated with me I would have stressed the fact that she has know mental issues... And her being put out on her own was exactly what we were trying to avoid. Again thanks Bethel for nothing. She was my daughters court appointed lawyer. They sent over paperwork for my daughter to fill out so they could talk to me because my daughter is an adult. It took her assistant a week to open the paper her her assistants own words. They sent me up with a chat system so I could ask the lawyer any questions. I was told that Bethel would call me so we could discuss any of my questions. That never happens Call after call message after message. She not wants me with my daughter before court. I live in a different state so I was not able to run right over to the courthouse on the date of court. I did not even know what to expect. Had I known that they were going to release my daughter I would have drove the nine hours down to be there to help her get situated because she is homeless. And cannot leave the county for 3 years. As a result of Bethel not taking the time to reach out to give me a heads up. I missed a crucial window and now I have not heard from my daughter and almost a week. Yes she is an adult and can make her own choices but still with a little help of simple phone call from Bethel I could have been down there in time to get my daughter after she was sent over to the probation office. When Bethel says shes there for you and shes got you - she means it. Ive worked with her for YEARS and she always treats me with respect and is blunt and honest with me. Whether its something related to a case or just a random off the wall question I have, shes been there with an answer. I have been in a horrible divorce. I have called, text and emailed without any response for far too long. I fired her in July and she is still on my case preventing me to pursue a protective order for me and my children. Took my money and wont help. Not even remove herself, refund you and you be able to get a protective order against someone who has threatened myself and children, assaulted me and arrested for attacking me. I am sick and stuck. Wow! I just referred Ms Zehaie to a friend. And I m looking at these reviews and wondering if her body was snatched and worn by an alien! Ms Zehaie assisted me in a court case in Plano a couple of years ago and she was professional and so was her assistant. I wanted young energy to represent me and that is what I got. I consulted with multiple attorneys prior to meeting with Bethel Zehaie. She was the only attorney who offered advice in the best interest of my children. Based on her experience and previous success in custody cases she was able to present options I did not know existed. It was important for me to leave an avenue for the father of my children to have a relationship with our children and still provide a way for me to ensure their safety and my peace of mind. I was overwhelmed with little hope when I found myself facing definite prison time for 3 felonys charges with 2 or more prior convictions. My judicially naive partner told me Believe that something miraculous will happen. I said, Nothing miraculous is going to happen! Im going to prison. I had accepted it and was prepared to sign for prison time that morning. I was 100% real with Bethel about my struggles with sobriety and she carefully listened to everything. She gave me a list of things that I needed to do on my part to help and said that as long as I did those few simple things, stayed sober and was serious about changing my life, that she would go to bat and fight hard for me. The DA offered me 15 months. Bethel got it down to 6 months which was a miracle and also the bare minimum punishment. Everyone was impressed with the results & I was very relieved that she got the best deal possible. I expressed to her how Deeply it would affect me if I missed my only sisters graduation in May. Bethel listened & truly cared. I watched her negotiating with the district attorney which she was not afraid to do. Seeing her work was incredible and inspiring. I was astounded when she told me that she in fact had gotten me a better deal! Better than the minimum time?! How was that possible?! She got me 1 day jail time and made it time served so that I didnt have to spend one minute in jail. I didnt have to go to prison or do probation. I didnt have any fines or fees. Now, Im sober and living my best life and will be attending my sisters graduation in May. None of this would have been possible without the support and representation that the brilliantly talented Bethel Zehaie provided. I owe my life and freedom to her. Turns out, a miracle did happen! This woman is a superstar attorney who makes magic happen in the courtroom, especially for those who think theyve gone too far and there is no hope for them. She didnt earn a dime from me and was court appointed but treated me like her most important client. I could tell my life really mattered to her and that I was safe in her hands. I am grateful to God for Bethel Zehaie and would do anything to be able to bless her life the way she has mine. SHE IS THE BEST OUT THERE! Bethel is an amazing attorney! I am a young father that was going through a battle to see my daughter, after filing child support on myself through the office of attorney general I was placed on child support. My daughter mother still did not allow me to see my child. After calling over 10 attorneys being quoted 10,000 retainer fee I finally was referred to Bethel! The attorney was straightforward with me from day 1, she also made me feel alot comfortable about fighting for my daughter by educating me on texas laws and procedures on how to handle my type of case. After a year of court dates and stressing and not seeing my daughter the attorney was finally able to help me and my daughter mother come to an agreement and eliminate the OAG from our case. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Bethel Zehaies assistance as my attorney. I walked into her office with several complex issues, seeking someone who could help me aggressively navigate several Mount Everest-sized mountains of trouble. I came afraid and overwhelmed, needing someone to hear me out and help me. Needless to say, I was in a lot of trouble. I am a firm believer that the universe whispers to you to warn you when your life is headed in the wrong direction. Bethel back in 2017 to handle one of the difficult case the Tarrant County Family Court had, before her I previously hired 5 different attorneys that messed up my case in the 233 district court, but when I hired her, she changed the outcomes of my case, before she filed the court pleadings she did an intense research on my case to identify what was the problem that my petition never was granted, after that she finally set the hearing and she won twice my case in court. Now I have lower child support, better possession schedules and finally, she made my ex-comply with the court order. I wish I could give this Lawyer a 0! DO NOT hire this lawyer as your family attorney. She is a liar and shes very judgmental! You hire a lawyer to defend you not judge you. This lawyer took my money and then stopped returning phone calls and emails. She showed up to court late EVERYTIME and when she did show, She looked as if she was high and drunk from the night before. She even went as far as to tell my daughter one that she was late due to carpet burns . When it came to trial, she smoked cigarette after cigarette because she was scared of CPS. She told us how she hated CPS but the truth is she works with them. Dont waste your money on this lawyer. Shes a coward, she has no children so she does not care, and shes judgemental. I will also be filing a complaint against her with the State Bar. Update: This lawyer started off with only two reviews today. Conveintly within the same day there are 5 more. She told these people to come on here and say good stuff and give her a 5. Dont trust it.

For the record this is the first review that Ive ever written for any services, goods, travel, lodging, and experiences that I have ever paid for. I recently found myself in a legal scenario that required the services of an attorney to help me out. After doing my due diligence, with hours and hours of deep research, I decided to contact Bethel Zehaie to review/consult with concerning my situation. When I first reached out, she was busy with another customer, so I left her a voicemail and within the hour she promptly got back to me. At which point, Bethel asked me to walk her through the situation and the events that took place that got me in the quarrel I was in. She was very compassionate and understanding of the details I shared with her. I sent over all the documentation that was requested of me and throughout the whole process, her communication was impeccable! There were even times where she would contact me after business hours to share additional information she had learned with me due to the fact that she had been in the courthouse all day dealing with her other clients. At the end of the day, Bethel did the very best that she could for me resulting in the best possible outcome given the cards I was dealt at a VERY REASONABLE price! After my experience working with Bethel Zehaie, as a client, I think its safe to say that I have identified a very professional attorney that will be on retainer for me as long as I reside in Texas!
