I checked in my 98 year old father. It was pre arranged but they were not prepared at all. The first room had a broken bed, the next room Was not Prepped. My dad had to do a lot of walking before a wheelchair was offered. I went to visit him later and he had a large bruise on his arm where someone had tried to pull him up. When I dropped him off they tried to do the same thing but I was there to prevent it. We took him out of there as soon as we could. Most of the workers there were just inconsiderate and poor attention was given to the elderly. Very sad.

My dad stayed here for a while and didn t like it. The night shift has a reputation for stealing medicine from patients and misplacing items that patients bring to the facility with them or at least that s the rumor I heard. All I can say for sure is he did not enjoy his stay and told everyone he knew to 1 star review the place.

Please be very careful when you place your loved one at this facility. They tried to overdose my mother-in-law with fentanyl among many other things. Make sure you check your loved ones body each day you visit for numerous medication patches. The Director of Nursing, Hope, is a joke. She brought her dog to our care meeting which was only set up because the State came in since they were reported for the opioid abuse. The most unprofessional meeting I have ever been to. The facility smells of urine/feces. On a good note, Dora is the best employee they have in the entire place. She takes very good care of her patients.

We were just there a few months with my mother in law before I brought her home to pass but the impact several of the staff left on me I will forever keep with me. Even nurses who werent on her hallway checked on her and cared for our family. I was always greeted with such kindness by most the staff but I have several I want to personally list since they ALWAYS went above and beyond. Jasmine Lewis, Shanice Wrights, Jakariana Jones, Darica Clark, Jeanne Getzelman, Adrienne Browne, Marleny Pacheco and most of all Redd. The compassion and love these ladies gave my MIL who was non verbal and had severe dementia was never unnoticed. Thank you ladies so much I will never be able to thank yall enough.

Do NOT put your loved one here unless you want them to die. They are NOT a skilled nursing facility. At best they are negligent babysitters. According to them my mother had been yelling all afternoon when I came back later. She died 15 hours later in the ICU after I arrived and had them call 911 even though she had already asked multiple times.

This place is a joke take your love one some place else. Regent care league city leaves the patients wet and they get raw on the bottom. They do not let you plug to their Wi-Fi so your camera can be viewed, the communication about the patient to the family is poor. Upon exit my mother was able to just be wheeled out after signing one paper and getting home without her daily blood pressure and dementia meds. If your love one have to be there you must stay on top of their care because the staff doesn t care once all the papers are signed your love one will fall in the cracks of semi being cared for. Please believe the reviews it s sad how they do the elderly .

I called Regent Care facility for family member to inquire about the rehab & was told by admissions that pt & ot would be done on weekends & could accommodate for a week if needed. Family member was transported from hospital on a Friday & needed iv Antibiotics for additional 3.5 days. Orders werent placed, therefore missing 2 doses. Patient didnt get other medications Family provided meds to staff. Pt & ot didnt get started until 3-4 days later. Patients for rehab placed in isolation for a week. Why? On a Monday the facility had a strong unclean odor. Hallways to residents or patients in rehab have filthy carpet, when walking on tile floor shoes stick. Carpets can not be sanitary. No managers on weekends. The patients are human beings & need to be taken care of in a sanitary, clean, respectful, healthy environment. I have talked to staff & filled out complaint forms. No one has contacted me or corrected problems. Ceilings & walls have staples & tape. A disposable razor cover on carpet along with stains. The PT,OT and medical techs were polite & friendly, how long will they stay at a place that doesnt address issues. Must have a high turn over of staff

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE. Thankfully, I did not apply here. My mother has had previous employment at this location, spoke of the poor management. Shes had her share of bad nursing homes. Do not let the five star reviews fool you, employees are told to type these up. Thats why they are vague (talking generally about the good care) with grammatical errors. Heres a great quote, staff listens to families and works to resolve any concerns. Tell me that doesnt sound like an employee. I cant say definitively for this facility, however my mother informed me shes worked at multiple nursing care centers in the area and in the past they have told the employees to write fake 5 star reviews. If you have to write fake reviews that shows a guilty conscience. Edit: In address to the reply below, I only speculated that the employees might be told to write the reviews. Hence why I wrote, I cant say definitively for this facility. I have no interest in speaking with management, simply wanted to caution people looking to place their loved ones here in case the quality of care is still just as bad as when my mother was employed. And based on the reviews placed within the past few years it is. Please do your research no matter the facility.

If you care for your loved ones, don t bring them here. To make a long story short, years of neglect on my grandmother due to this place caused her to be more sick than ever. She was often left in her spoil for days without being cleaned. She went to the hospital too many times to count while she stayed here. More than she ever had in her lifetime. There was illness after issue after problem throughout her stay here. Once we got her out, we saw the physical signs of neglect and elder abuse. She was at a new facility for a month after we moved her out of Regent Care and she thrived more in a month at the new place than she ever did in her 3 years at Regent Care. Don t apply here.

For 3 yrs my MIL has been in this place (we did not know how horrible it is until this week). She was taken to the ER for breathing hard. Doctor at ER said her lungs was fine. This ER and ICU advised us to take pictures and investigate neglect . Thank goodness we took her out of this place ASAP.

Regent Care League is a great place for quality care of your loved one. The staff is great and attentive to their residents. The management team is always available and willing to assist anyway they can. I would definitely recommend bringing your loved one here for after hospital rehab and or long term care.

I have worked at Regent Care Center of League City, since it opened in 2007. The Residents are like family and our staff care about all of our Residents! I love our little community, and plan on being there until I retire. We have proven our care is the best, with having 0 state tags within the last 3 years. We are working hard to become a five star facility for our Residents and families. We have a great team of caregivers, adminstrative staff, a beautiful building and most of all happy Residents!

A beautiful place to look at. But if your loved one needs memory care...they will tell you that they specialize in memory care. But actually they do NOT! My sisters and I placed our father there, and after 3 days..they demanded that we either come get our father or have him moved within 2 weeks. If not....they would have him moved to another facility of there choice. We were not pleased with our fathers treatment, especially after being told one thing..and they did something else.

Hard to even give them a 1 star!! Horrible care. My mom was there 1 week and they almost killed her by not treating her infection they were aware she had!! Numerous times I arrived and she couldnt reach her call button or water. They would leave her in her feces until it was time (every 3-4 hrs) to change her. I would never send a human there. People are treated better in prison!!

Ive read a lot of the comments that was left about Regent Care in Webster Texas and I dont agree with the majority of it my experience was very nice. My mother was there temporarily after she was released from the hospital for physical therapy. They treated her with respect they treated her very nicely she found ways of getting around, meeting new people and fou d a new hobby, puzzles. yes they did put her in a wheelchair but it wasnt for their convenience but for her safety. People dont realize that this is a nursing facility and that these people are doing the best they can with the resources that they have if you were that adamant about your parents or your loved one you should have left them at home with you.

Placed my mom here and received horrible service. The nurses were not properly trained or either did not want to do their job. Lack of communication when trying to get answers. My mom got bed soars that she didnt have before being under their care. They just allowed my mom to sit without checking on her. My mom had to be hospitalized and I had to tell the nurse that she needed to call the paramedics. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR FAMILY MEMBER TO GO TO THIS PLACE! IT IS HORRIBLE!

Both my parents were at this facility. Nurses and assistants are not properly trained. My dad has Alzheimers.. When my mother passed away... as we were trying to arrange the funeral for her, nurses at the facility would call us to tell us that we needed to be there with him . We were told they were too busy there to just attend to him. We were called almost every day and told that we HAD to be there to watch him till he fell asleep , which was about 10 or 11 pm. Some of the nurses there were rude and very unprofessional. We were not given the chance to look for another location and he was put out to the first facility they found available right after I asked for the administrative name to report them. That was the worst experience Ive had at any place.. if they had a negative star i would give them that instead of 1
