I went to Tropical Smoothie for the first time today. I ordered a Pomegranate Plunge smoothie, the Cali Breakfast Flatbread, and the All American sausage wrap. They had the food ready fast but when I got home (10 mins away) I noticed the All American wrap was ice cold like out of the refrigerator. My Cali flatbread was very good and warm just sloppy with sauce everywhere. The smoothie was great. I called the store and they offered to remake the cold wrap but I was already home. Next time I will double check the food before I go all the way home. They also didn t greet us when we walked in. I thanked them anyway and walked out. The guys working were very much into their own conversation.

Vegetarian options: You can very easily ask the staff to remove items that you dont want, plus they have some whole vegan options. Parking: Its a shared storefront lot, shared with other businesses, so on busier days, parking gets tight. Kid-friendliness: The environment is kid friendly, no weird imagery or flags, very tropical/beach vibey. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres only a couple spots in the front of the store that have a ramp to the sidewalk. Will need help opening the door.

I guess you have to do a mobile order in order to get service here? Walked in and stood at the register for 5 min. Weirdly, multiple employees made eye contact with me but I wasn t acknowledged. The person in line behind me even said hello there are people in line . To which they said and did nothing. Yikes. If I could give zero stars I would. I walked out after that.

I ve never been to this place but I tried today, I m not blaming anything on these guys, the store and the products look great but I wasn t even allowed to order at 1:40 they were telling me we can t take any orders at the moment, they were a little busy but by no means packed, I waited for them to finish and once they were finished they didn t want to take my order and wanted to close up the store because they were visually stressed out. Idk who manages the place but they definitely need more staff working with them because they denied my service after everyone was taken care of, which isn t okay.

Not allergen friendly at all. I made a point to tell the server that I had a pineapple allergy and requested another fruit substitution. I dont know if it was ignorance or malace but she substituted other fruit for double pineapple. Had to Epipen. Thank God I know what pineapple tastes like.

Well, the shake was the wrong color and Ive had them make my drink wrong before, so when the girl gave me my drink, I asked, excuse me, what drink is this? She pointed at the label and said, peanut paradise real slow, nearly spelling it out for me. I have self-control, apparently she doesnt. Gee thanks. We have avoided this location for a long time cause they cant seem to get things right and so we gave them another chance and nope same bad service.. Ordered kids quesadilla added chicken and paid extra for it... No chicken. Same thing as in the past. Had 3 slaws on the order... Only got 2. And somehow we get chips we never ordered. Waste of money. Pearland location is amazing. This one obviously doesnt care about training employees correctly. This for sure is the last time Im dealing with this tropocal smoothie. This was our first visit here because of a T-Mobile special and were so impressed by their amazing customer service. In spite of that, they were so busy this particular evening that we were still greeted with a big smile and were helped right away. The smoothies and wraps were delicious, but we will definitely be back for the great staff. One young man stood out, I wish I had gotten his name, but businesses should have more people like him! 5 stars all the way! Great job!

My acquaintances and I were overjoyed with the thought of a scrumptious smoothy, devastatingly we encountered disrespectful, inconsiderate, and impolite workers. First time eating here in months and I will definitely be back soon! I was having trouble deciding on what drink to get and one of the staff members very kindly suggested some of their most popular drinks right now. I ended up getting the Bahama mama smoothie with a buffalo chicken wrap and i was impressed with how quickly i received my meal. It was amazing too and I felt very welcomed. Definitely recommend!

6/1: Ordered online and arrived 4 minutes late to the store. Did not realize they closed at 8. The door was open and lights were on. A girl (brunette, young, baby-faced) saw me walk in and walked straight to the back, looked back at me and laughed. Rude. She told a young boy to talk to me. He was very polite. I told him I was here to pick up my order. He said they didn t have an order for me, but he would try to refund my credit card. I asked if they don t make the orders until the person arrives (this is the second time that has happened to me, although the first time was in the middle of the day.) He said no but that someone probably threw out the order so it wouldn t get left behind in the fridge. I am not sure why they can t wait five minutes for people to pick up their food. I get that it was technically closed but it seems there should be a buffer. The way the girl laughed at me when I walked in makes me think she just threw out my order. It would be fine if they were respectful about it, but instead I feel uncomfortable now. Giving 2 stars because at least the boy showed some maturity.

every time i order a peanut paradise smoothie on doordash i am disappointed. my smoothie is NEVER fully blended. im literally chewing on chunks of ice and chunks of bananas its disgusting. half the time i cant even drink it thru the straw because its so chunky. i shouldnt have to blend my smoothie myself every time i order it. before i even start drinking the smoothie i can look at it and see thats its chunky. i dont know who is making the smoothie and looks at it and thinks oh yeah this is blended. i shouldnt have to call the store and ask them to make sure my smoothie is blended every time i order one.

I went there for quick and filling dinner. I ve gone there before many years ago and the food was decent as well as the smoothies. Sadly when it came to cleanliness they weren t to good. Now that I went back recently it seems that they have things more put together. I got a Cajun shrimp wrap that was a very decent size for the price. As well I got a smoothie (island detox). The wrap was very filling and not bland at all with cheese,rice and some sort of sauce. The smoothie was nice and refreshing for the warmer day we were having! Nice young ladies there, very clean. Ordered 2 smoothies from the menu, asked them to substitute Splenda in both drinks per the menu. The girl making the smoothies seemed very stressed and/or distracted. We got our smoothies and left. Once down the road we tried them, and they were both watery, and not really tasty. Its almost like a step was missed, and no Splenda or sugar or anything was added. Im not sure, they were just not great, and for a first try of a new place, was not a good impression. The service is fast and friendly. They are kind and patient in explaining the menu items and delighted in offering various options for a smoothie, bowl, wrap etc. I had the hummus veggie bowl and it was so good my smiles went on for miles.

i wen to your cafe recently in hope to try a jetty punch! i was so excited to try out this flavor because it was recomended to me by this young asian man. I believe his name was kanu dong. However i have some concerns for some of your workers. First i walked into the store and was looking at the menu, and i was walking up to the register and some girls came in and he swiftly started to talk to them and forget about me. Next thing that was happening is he was taking their order, and by that time it had been about 15 minutes of me waiting and not getting served yet.

Excellent service! The servers work incredibly hard to make sure everyone is satisfied with their order, give proper discounts, and make sure any vegan/vegetarian accomodations are made. My daughter and I come here for lunch often. Shift managers like Maria and Mark are friendly to customers, we love the great atmosphere and service at tropical smoothie !

FALSE ADVERTISING! When The Tropical Smoothie Shop 1st opened, they were selling the giant hard plastic cups. Their advertisement was that if you purchased the Tropical Smoothie Cup, you would receive $2 off any smoothie as long as you brought back that same cup. Today, I come back and the manager tells me that they have reduced the discount to only $1. Well, that wasnt the deal! Back to making my own smoothies at home now, not worth the high price.

To say I m very upset would be an understatement. I placed are online order for pickup and specifically put NO MEAT because I ve been a vegetarian for years. I went in and picked up my order, no problem. I went back to work and opened up the wrap ready to eat it and (thankfully) I checked it and saw, clear as day, meat in my wrap. I called and the girl told Me I could swing by and they would make Me a new one. I hurried over there to get a new wrap and as I was pulling in they called and told Me they couldn t make Me a new one because on their side it didn t say NO MEAT. I told the girl I hadn t eaten the other one and I was practically allergic to it. The girl told Me that if I had the other sandwich with Me that they would make Me a new one but Being as I was on My lunch break I just went back to work without anything to eat for the rest of the day. After I got off work I went over there WITH THE OTHER WRAP like she told Me to. I got there and it was three teenage girls with extreme attitude issues. I handed them the wrap and told them what happens and all three went in the back for about 15 minutes and came back out and said their manager said they couldn t give me a refund or at least make Me a new one even though I brought the UNEATEN one back! They all just stared at Me with the rudest looks on their faces. I ve been in the customer service industry for years and that was the worst customer service I have ever received! The girls acted like the only reason they work there is because their parents made them.The customer is always right no matter what, even if you think they are wrong. It s not that hard to just make a new wrap and go on about your day. They will be hearing from My bank.

I show up to pick up my order. When the order was placed I was 20 min away in Friendswood. I get there and everyone is confused AF. Maria, Marisol, and Abby take turns looking at the order tablet and keep agreeing that THEY didnt put in the order. You guys are the only ones up front who is THEY. So not only did I drive from Friendswood to get the order I had to wait another 20 min for the BLAME SOMEBODY ELSE CREW to make my order. I will not make that drive again.
