Ordered from here on Uber because I was craving pho and milk tea, and not many places have both that are good. This place hit the spot on both cravings! The oxtail pho was amazing! Perfectly seasoned, not too salty, and a good kick of fish sauce in the meatballs, which Im pretty sure are house made because Ive never had meatballs like these, and Ive eaten phó all over Houston (even worked at a popular phó restaurant). Husband got the bún th t n ng and that was also incredible. Even the n c ch m that came with the vermicelli and egg rolls was very good and also seems house made! The drinks were amazing as well - husband got the honeydew jasmine milk tea, and I got passion fruit green tea with fruit jelly and blueberry popping boba. Seriously, Ive never seen blueberry popping boba before! They even have a kiwi popping boba! The only thing that was lacking was the popcorn chicken - but seriously, its a phó restaurant, not a Taiwanese street food stand. Their Vietnamese dishes are spectacular, so I highly suggest trying them out!

Very good place. Comfortable and service was excellent. Went with my daughter during this cold weather and hit the spot. I had the brisket pho and my little one had white rice and her favorite drinks, a Boba. Brisket was tender and the vegetable sides always top it off. If youre feeling under the weather and need a hot soup, they got it. Will repeat for sure.

Pho is not too bad but the customer service needs some work. It has happened many times that I have attempted to call to place an order to go and they don t answer. The excuses have been that the phone was dead and she put it on the charger when I mentioned they didn t pick up. Another excuse was that they were really busy with only one person sitting at a table.

I rated this 5 star food quality wise, but I came there at 10:15 am to order bobas, and was told it was another 30 minutes for tapioca to be ready. I suggest hiring a crew 30 mins earlier to start cooking bobas. Never had a place before (boba place like oh my tea) who s drinks aren t ready when they open. Prepping is a must, just saying. When you say you re open at 10:00 am, everything should be ready especially tapioca y all specialized. So 1 star for that.

My first impression was not good. Walked in with my daughter to hear loud rap music dropping the F bomb and other vulgar words. The employees acted surprised when I asked them to please turn it down. They did after some looks at me. I stayed because my daughter was hungry and she heard good things about this place. The music was finally changed to something without the vulgar language. Food was okay. I won t be back.

Pretty good food portion sizes are rather large which is great, I went with a friend and we ordered: -chicken fried rice -brisket pho -Vermicelli beef bowl -spring rolls (2) -2 black sugar milk tea All the food was absolutely amazing, the service was super helpful and nice will go again. *Also fyi the pricing is rather high. We paid about $55 for everything but the food quality and portions is worth it.

I have been visiting this location for several months now. We are fans of sandwiches and Pho, we visit every place that has good recommendations and they never fail. And this location in Pasadena was not far behind. The teas are delicious. Today I returned with my son and we ordered the Vietnamese pork sandwich and the Pho with green tea liqueur and Mango lemonade. The texture of the bread is unmatched, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the flavor is mmm delicious! The Pho also very good. The place is nice and very clean. We already want to return again.

The place looks clean and cute but the music is too loud, I don t know if that s what they preferred but for people who wanna sit and talk to their company.it s not good to yell just because music is loud. All the females that work there are rude, didn t want to help and yelled at me for no reason i had just walked in, But when a regular customer of theirs walked in, one of them went out of their way to go greet them.. I didn t say much to not cause a scene.. (the guys that work there are actually great and nice tho, the first time I visited, they helped me out) The second time I visited i got treated horribly by those women.. Food does not have the typical Vietnamese flavor.. drinks are poorly made, the lids get wrinkled and they dont care about fixing it, causing problems when inserting the straw.. VERY EXPENSIVE. Not worth it. Not going back.

Why do you publish certain hours online if you re not going to be open? We ve been a few times, the teas are ok but overpriced compared to other places. We went on a Sunday evening and got there way before the time they re supposed to close but the door was locked and the girls were already cleaning. We couldn t get our bobas here, even though we drove 15 minutes. It was a bit disappointing. Then we drove 10 more minutes to a place called Tapioca Xpress which had better prices and closes at 9, from now on I will just go straight to that other place.

Today we had a horrible experience with the owner Sandy Duong s son, Phong Duong, at Sweet Lemon. When we arrived, we did not have a mask (which we respected) and asked if we could place our orders over the phone from OUTSIDE. We were told yes and when we asked if we could pay with cash his response was no . Very short and rude with all the responses. For someone that is a Houston Realtor at NextMove Real Estate Group and has multiple family businesses like Sweet Lemon and Charming Nail Bar, he does not have good customer service. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were given to multiple employees all claiming to be Head Managers . There is a level of professionalism that this business lacks. I am all about supporting small businesses but today I was forced to take my business elsewhere.

So reviewed this place a year ago. The drinks are still great, but today I got some popcorn chicken as well. It is NOT GOOD. I m now hoping I don t get food poisoning from the few pieces I tried. It s pretty rank, sorry to say. :( Yay! Finally found a boba/bubble/tapioca tea place not too far away from me, and with snacks! Sweet lemon was the perfect treat at our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, they were very easy to work with with our changing schedule due to covid. They were in constant communication with updates throughout the process. Our tasting session prior to the wedding was SO much fun. They were very generous with all the multiple flavors we could try. Additionally they offered to place our personal stickers on their cup for our wedding day as well. So happy we had them on our special day to celebrate us. Couldnt have asked for a better caterer!

I asked for 4 egg rolls and they gave me 4 orders of egg rolls. Not what I ordered. Second time I went I got a hot cheeto corn to go and the way they packaged it was horrible. The allumium plate was hot and couldnt hold the weight of everything so the plate folded in half spilling everything iside the plastic bag they gave me. Somethings are great about the place but some things just need to be thought through better. Edit: Decided to give them a try again and food was supposed to be ready in 20min. We got there BEFORE the 20 minutes, tell me why the food we got was barely warm like it had been sitting there. I guess I should have gone earlier? Someone was also complaining at the same time I was there. Could have been a great place.

My sister and I came to Get a strawberry smoothie, vietnamese coffee and two orders of spring rolls. The Boba in the drinks was extremely hard the drinks themselves were not bad, but the bad boba made them unenjoyable. I then tried an entree which was delivered via Uber Eats. It was JUST ok (the Black Sugar Tea hurt my stomach). I tried again (bc near the hospital where I work, options are limited) and the third time food was delivered in a UNSEALED bag I find a white (what looks to be) pubic hair in my food! I am on my lunch break. I can not wait to have more food delivered! I call and speak to the manager who again, wasn t kind (seemed rather bothered) who very dryly stated she d refund me. No refund as of yet! $20.00 down the drain. That s one expensive piece of white public hair!

The food and drinks are delicious, but I would recommend to go in person to place the order. They have continuously given me the wrong items in my to-go/ Uber orders. I hate spending $6.00 for a drink that is the wrong flavor. So disappointing. If they would be consistent with correct orders this place would be perfect.

Their drinks are great ! Just had a bad experience with elote that I ordered. The corn was so bad. It had a foul smell to it... just was gross... I ordered the popcorn chicken also it was amazing... don t know if it was my bad luck or their quality is bad....

Sweet Lemon is by far one of the best Vietnamese spots in Pasadena. They have amazing food, the atmosphere is quiet, laid back & very family/kid friendly. I have always recommended this place to family & friends. However, there have been several times that I have ordered and specifically asked for the charbroiled bbq spring rolls & was given shrimp (which my daughter is allergic to) or the Vietnamese pork spring rolls. Luckily, the times I ate dine in, I was able to have them correct it. There are also times that I have ordered to go, had the same issue and only realized by the time I got home that I was given shrimp spring rolls. Big inconvenience to have to drive back. Not to mention the food allergy & let down my daughter has when she s presented with something she cannot consume. Some employees have amazing customer service, while others don t by making remarks about having to fill a large order. I keep coming back here due to the fact that no other Vietnamese cafe s offer amazing food like Sweet Lemon does.
