The Petry Law Firm is the very best, professional, reliable, kind and makes you feel at ease knowing your bookkeeping and taxes are handled properly. As a new law firm owner, it is important to have someone you can trust. I felt as though I was communicative and responsive to the firm and that they did not prioritize responsiveness or communication with me. I also think my time was not respected as I was consistently reassured we would move forward and then was told we would not. I understand that firms reserve the right to refuse to work with someone for any reason they choose. To draw out the process by assuring me we would continue to move forward on numerous occasions (with a new engagement letter) was unprofessional and unnecessary. I also understand that a consultation is for the attorneys time. However, Im frustrated that at some point between that $275, 30-minute consultation and the Engagement Letter key information was lost especially since me raising concern around that disconnect seems to be the impetus for the refusal to work together. I was looking forward to working with Lucy as she came recommended from a good friend of mine and former colleague of hers. But there was no attention to detail, communication was poor, and the general disregard for my time was disrespectful.

I have actually been using them for three years and I have made recommendation to others. They are a good firm. I love that I can do everything electronically. I can upload documents at midnight because it is when I have time. The are communicative and helpful. This firm has helped me change my tax structure to S-corp. They have been really patient and have helped me understand what I am doing and how to do it right. I switched to Petry after my prior attorney just wasnt answering my questions about how to set-up the S-corp beyond filing the IRS paperwork.
