my wife and i came for the first time, over all was ok ,the food was ok We order a burger and enchiladas callejeras. the only thing I can say they need to update the place remove the menus from the walls and paint the walls. Also invest on new glasswear because its not a good image for the customer and I didnt want to take the chance and use it

I have been to the one on McPherson/Laredo. The food weather Breakfast or Lunch the food is delicious! Well serve, the staff are friendly and fast. You feel like home, you can have as much coffee as you want, people there help each other. I highly recommend you visit them. Prizes reasonable. Enjoy your visit

Small spot with a weird lay out. You order/ pay at the counter which is also where the serves are exiting the kitchen. So you re constantly in the way of the servers while you re waiting to order. But .other than that, a great experience. I ordered the guisada plate and fajita taco on the side. The guisada has a good flavor and the sides were flavorful. Rice and beans. The salsa is more pico and the chips are really good. The star of the show was the fajita taco. Not only amazing flavor, but a huge taco. I took a tortilla from my plate and split the taco into two. So much carne. I will have to come back and try some breakfast tacos next trip.

This place is not that good to merit the rating it has. First, it feels cramped and dirty in there. The menu plastered all over the wall is tacky and it makes the place feel smaller. Second, the service is terrible! We saw our server perhaps 2 maybe 3 times in the 90 we were there. And then we waited so long of the mediocre food. The milanesa was over cooked, over seasoned and way too thick to be milanessa! It was so over seasoned I had terrible heartburn. I dont understand how you mess up suck a simple dish! Oh and then I wasnt served the fries with the plate. They were given to me about 20 after. And oh man!!!! Why are those fries so thick. Thick cuts of potato like that will not crisp up, theyll just boil in the outer crust. Who trained theses cooks??? The only good thing there is the price! 15.00 person is a great price. So is you want cheap and dirty this is the place. The parrilladas are great in all honesty! Perhaps Ill give this place another go, but they need to make some changes to those sides as well. The rice is insipid and the beans tasted like old lard.

A lot of people go there in the morning, thats how you know foods great. I love going there with my parents. The service is great, and food feels abundant for my moneys worth. Would recommend going there for a mexican breakfast! Plus, free coffee for every meal. Parking: It gets full quick, so best be there before others beat you to a near parking spot.

We LOVED THIS PLACE! Knocked off a star for service because its pretty slow BUT I cant really blame them. This place is always packed and for good reason. Suarez looks like a snack shop in the corner of a run down plaza with horrible parking. The lot is shared with another restaurant. The place is considerably larger than it looks from the outside. I am not going to sugar coat it, the chairs need replacing and some the vinyl was ripped. They also could use a wiping down. The plywood and 2x4 tables were sturdy and ok looking but could use a fresh coat of varnish and urethane. Now what it lacked in ambiance it made up for in taste. The food is AMAZING! I cant believe I have lived in Laredo for 15 years and I am just discovering this place! I like the coolers with the vegetables. I was surprised to learn that this place is also a meat market in the back. I ordered 2 sausage, 2 brisket, 3 fajita, a side of Charro Beans, and a manzanita. Total was around 30. The tacos are considerably larger than others and were fill quite full of meat. Good value. Buy some extra tortillas and turn your 1 taco into 2! The owner was very friendly and even threw in a desert for free. This is my new go to taco place. I cant wait to try the other menu items!

I came here because I heard a lot about it But Ive been here 3 times and theres always too many people, no tables available I thought I would get a table since it wasant even noon yet but no Its a super small place I ordered the guisado plate and my husband ordered the rib plate I heard the prices were reasonable but my plate was $14 and so were the ribs The guisado was ok But I wouldnt call it guisado It was beef stew meat in brown gravy Thats not the traditional guisado Im used to I took it to go but when I got home they had only put one small salsa for both plates and 2 fajita tacos I was really disappointed Probably not coming back because they really need a larger place and faster service I had to wait awhile to get my order because when I walked in all the employees were busy Parking: Theres so many people that there isnt enough parking

One of the Best Mexican restaurant in Laredo & very affordable! Sure, it s a small restaurant with limited space to dine in but the food & quality are always on point. Not to mention the huge portion of food you get. There are plenty popular choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner plates & they look just as good the pictures hanging throughout the store. They also have daily breakfast & dinner plate specials, prices on those are unbeatable. We love coming to this place for breakfast & dinner when we can & it s always an amazing experience. Went with friends for dinner. Ordered the parrillada for two. Also tried the guisado and chicharrón tacos. Enjoyed the guisado. Not the chicharrón. The carne asada was good and well seasoned but nothing to write home about. It was just ok. The salsas were delicious as were the frijoles charros. Overall I would go again. It s a nice place. Our waitress was excellent. BTW the sodas are cans and bottles - so no refills. There are some agua fresca options with refills though.
