Ive not had the best experience with attorneys in the past, so when my mother passed and I as executor had to find a probate attorney I was reluctant to begin the process. I spoke with about a dozen different firms with this one being the last interview. I found Tim Weaver to be very up front and helpful, and genuinely concerned about assisting me. His fees are very reasonable and he takes the time to discuss the issues without rushing. There have been ongoing issues in the settlement of the estate, and Tim has been there with me and continues to do so. Although I may not agree with him on every issue, I have come to trust his judgment and now rely on him for legal advice. I never thought I would be in a position to recommend an attorney, but I can highly recommend Tim Weaver should you have the need to consult a probate attorney.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Tim Weaver and his office staff. I am sure that he saved my parents estate more than $50,000. I was the executor for my mothers estate when she passed 6 years ago and her husband (who was her primary executor) had Alzheimers. I was in Ohio and they lived in Houston. Tim was there for me all the way and even attended a competency hearing for my stepfather. Everything was covered with the initial - very reasonable - flat fee. His office was always on top of everything and he or his very polite staff were always a phone call away. Five years later, my step-father passed while at a memory care facility out of state. Based on my step-fathers testimony (at his competency hearing) that he never wanted to leave Texas and had taken no actions to be a resident in that state - we were able to probate his will in Houston - as per his wishes. This resulted in a huge savings for the estate. Many attorneys are looking for a percentage of the estate - Tims flat rate fee - that provides full coverage - saved us literally 10s of thousands of dollars. And I say all of this as a practicing attorney myself and a retired military officer. It is my privilege to endorse the legal services that Tim has provided my family on two occasions. I cannot imagine having a better experience during the sad times when a loved one passes away. Tim is there for you - and makes the right things happen. Thank you Tim.

Okay, I feel I am close enough to the end of my business time with him that I can share my experience. It will be a long review but worth the read. I am a young and broke mom who s mother passed away in October of 18. I called the entire Houston arsenal of attorneys before I found this man. I couldn t pay for the services I needed up front or even make payments. None. Couldn t do it. No attorney would agree to take it out of my mom s estate. Until Mr. Weaver. He called me back, asked no questions, said Yeah I ll absolutely do that for you. Now, I expected 2-3 months before the house was sold and boom he d be paid. No. I started business with him in August of 19. Here it is nearing the end of February and the estate still hasn t closed. He hasn t once asked me about his payment, no pressure at all. He s given me time, worked with my realtor to help get the estate taken care of and the ONLY thing he s said to me in the over 6 months he s been helping me about his money is to let him know about a week before closing so he can send the title people his invoice. He s not in it for the money. He cares dearly for his clients. He s not only helped me with estate, but I dug myself into a hole that he was more than happy to help me get out of. He won t leave anything at the door that you ask. He will try very hard to help you. 20/10 would absolutely recommend this man. Paula his assistant is wonderful, kind, patient and very understanding. I live out of state so documents are hard for me to get to them. These people care about the little people like me who don t have a ton of money. They want to help in the crisis not add to the stress. I can t thank him enough.

Mr. Weaver has been a loyal associate, client and friend for over 30 years. He runs his practice with love, loyalty and a true compassion for family. Tim has surrounded himself with great people and knows the Probate Codes and Estate Laws better than most making him one of the best Attorneys in the City of Houston.
