In fairness we were a large group but they knew that. We had to wait an extremely long time for drinks ( non-alcoholic). Staffing is hard everywhere but they should have been more prepared. Otherwise the food was very good and worth the wait. We will go back again.

Wow.. a must try when in Laredo. The El Pasco was tender and full of flavor! The pineapple gave a sweet sour flavor to the meal. By far one of the best Strawberry Margaritas that we have had!! The Chumoy Margarita was fantastic. Alejandra our waitress was top notch.

This was my first layover here in Loredo. I decided after checking into my hotel to explore the area for some good food and shopping. This restaurant luckily was right outside my hotel doors. Upon opening the door to the restraunt, there was a female employee wiping and sanitizing the food menus. I asked to take a peek at one while I decided to stay and dine or continue exploring. The first thing I saw was the mangorita, then the Mexican style shrimp meatball soup caught my attention. After looking over the menu w/ a little Spanish translator app, I was able to ask questions about some food and drink items that were on the menu. The nice gentleman waiter and female employee cleaning the menus were very accommodating, understanding, and patient w/ me. Immediately after I decided to try out this restaurant, I was then escorted to a booth in the dining area. The restaurant had so much character. Was very large, open, welcoming, and definitely represented the Mexican culture in such an upscale way. Upon being seated, another waiter came up to introduce himself and asked me my drink order. I ordered a mangorita. Within jus a couple minutes I was brought some fresh fried tortillas, as well as tortilla chips w/ assortment of dips, refried beans, fresh pico de gallo, avocado sauce and some fresh halfed limes w/ a hand held citrus extractor. Shortly after that, my drink was dropped off and looked yummy. For my meal, I ordered the albondigas de camaron (aka shrimp meatball soup). The soup was very filling and full of flavor, which was so delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by and dining at this restaurant. Cant wait to visit here again and try other menu items

****Update on returning visit for lunch.**** Had the Brucheta mix (beef & chicken) and was excellent. The in-house corn tortillas were fresh, hot and delicious along with the nice selections of salsa. Service is always on point like usual. Kudos! Our party had the parillada. It was marginal pre-cooked mix of meat. The house made corn tortillas are thicker than most. There are other plates from the menu that might have been better. Very attentive service and clean stations. Enjoyed the get together for what its worth.

We come here at least once a month, the service was terrible, our waiter never came back to our table. I ordered my ribeye medium rare, it was well done and tough, I told a different waitress the issue with my steak when she asked if I wanted a to go box, and she didnt care, I had flagged her down to order another drink since our waiter never returned. We arrived close to 2pm, it wasnt busy. Our bill was $156.46

Typical Mexican plate. Although not the usual great flavor, the chicken salad that I ordered just didnt have the wow. The salad wasnt cut correctly, too large. Finally wound up for tacos, leaves were that big. Just seemed like thrown together without care. Service was great with the waiter stopping by and refilling drinks without asking. The salsa and chips with variety was probably the highlight

The nachos are really good , the salsa is very mild so make sure you ask for this spicy chili if youre into that. Also come with tortillas and beans the menu expansive as well as pretty pricey. Shared some plates with some friends having some tacos some carne asada and melinesa. The food was pretty good, maybe not for the price. At night they have live music and its a good time. My waitresses was really nice, great customer service!

One of the worst restaurants I have ever been. Staff dont speak english and those who does are rude and know nothing about food safety and cleanliness. I went with my daughter to buy takeout and we asked for no pork and both of our meals had pork. Not to mention the hair that came with both meals as an added gift. Disgusting!Shame on you!
