I really want to like this place; their food is really good but they re just so careless with their orders. Both times I have tried this place, they ve messed up our order. We ordered delivery once and only received half of our order, so my family was left hungry because we had to split whatever we got. Today we tried pickup so that we could make sure they got the order right. It seemed they did, but when we go home and opened it up they forgot the fries we paid for. I would love to keep ordering from this place but I m losing money to them with all these messed up orders!!

For l first thing, I saw this as an ad on Facebook. Only 20min away i had to try crimson out! 2nd thing, this place looks DOPE so I was already impressed walking in, I was able to look and watch the whole process of my chicken being made NICE. 3rd thing, most of the time you compromise flavor when it comes to extremely hot flavors. NOT the case here i got the 4 piece chicken strips with the burn baby burn seasoning a side of ranch, garlic sauce and a side of potato salad. 5 out of 5 yall! The heat from the chicken was very intense BUT had a fantastic flavor! All sauces were legit as well. And the potato salad needed some work but cant complain because it was great too! (Just not how momma makes it ) overall I highly recommend this chicken shack!

The most mid chicken in Texas. First off, of course it s chicken tenders and waffles and not real chicken and waffles. Every yt or cultural appropriated establishment of soul food does this. So I had to buy the chicken and waffles separately. The chicken was juicy, crisp and had a nice spicy kick to it but the chicken was still UNSEASONED. No salt. So you re eating a juicy chicken with spice and no salt. Making it bland. Spicy doesn t equal well-seasoned. The whole point of chicken and waffles is to have the salty-ness of the chicken contrasted with the sweetness of the maple syrup and waffles. Also charging $9 for a soggy waffle is criminal. Go to Hal s or Big mama s chicken and waffles, where you can get real chicken and waffles for $10 and it s owned by poc. The owners of this establishment are not poc and it shows. Man do I miss Roscoe s. Over all this location is perfect for people who don t understand the culture and like their juicy chicken to taste like spicy cardboard.

I ve been curious about this place for a while as I like a good hot chicken sandwich and the other night I decided to try it. It was unfortunately not one of the better chicken sandwiches I ve had. The chicken in it was about half of what I ve had in a great hot chicken sandwich for starters, and it overall was just kind of mid overall - how juicy it was, slaw and sauce - nothing terrible but nothing that will make me come back unfortunately.

Just an okay experience at CC. Got there for lunch and was first in line but still had to wait 10 minutes to order because staff was busy. I understand they cook to order but they need to be more efficient so people arent left waiting when things arent that busy. The chicken itself was good. They use halal so quality is good but the prices are exorbitant for what you get. $12 for just a chicken sandwich and an additional $5 to add fries and a drink, so $18 for a combo with a sandwich that wasnt that big. We had a coupon thankfully but I wouldnt pay that much normally. The fries were overly salty and I got the chicken at medium spice level and was surprised that it was still pretty mild and lacking flavor. The bread was pretty dense and while it was toasted, the outsides were still cold. They should also use a bigger tray since everything was so tight you didnt have space to put ketchup or sauce. Overall, a solid place but a bit pricey and could improve with service and efficiency.

I would rate joey eat fries as number 1, crimson burger and 3 tenders as number 2, home style sandwich number 3 as it was too much oily. Seating could have been more comfortable. Me and my son debated about this, our experiences were completely different. This was the first visit so we ordered a few things to get the full experience. We had The Crimson Mild, Fries, Mac and Cheese, Crimson Burrito, and Garlic Twister with 2 orange sodas. The location is very clean, the staff very friendly. My sandwich had the smallest chicken breast. It was definitely not worth the price. I pinched off most of the bread. My sons portion was adequate. The Mac and Cheese was seasoned and good flavor. The fries were soggy, would probably be good onsite. The meat could use some seasoning under the sauce, but the coleslaw is really good. I dont like the house sauce, tastes like mayo.

I m giving it a 1 star review because I can t give it a -5. I ved come here before and ordered THE CRIMSON which normally comes with coleslaw and pickles and it s a huge Sandwich!!! Well, I ordered online and got 3. CRIMSON Sandwiches with scoop of fries for my family which was their first time having CRIMSON COWARD specifically because it looked huge online for them, I did reassured my family that it was, it totaled close to 53 bucks which I didn t mind, due to being a big chicken sandwich with steroids!. Well .i picked up my order and looked through it, to find it was not what I expected! The chicken sandwich was not big as when I first had it! the coleslaw and pickles were not served as advertised, and was not as big as advertised on their website. The chicken sandwich had a pinch of coleslaw and 2 pickles, and as you would see in the pictures provided, you ll see a huge difference on the sandwiches! You re better off getting a chicken sandwich from 7/11,Golden Chick or even a spicy McChicken! Also it s not 10.99 it s 12.99 just the sandwich.

My partner and I just tried this place and the whole experience there was exceptional. We had attentive and friendly staff greeting us then took our orders. They immediately got our food out and it came fast, hot, and delicious. The chicken was juicy but steaming hot. The Nash burgers were also a good solid recommendation if you are not feeling hot chicken. Not too keen on the fried pickles, they were a bit too crunchy and salty but that could be also more of a preference. Regardless, the atmosphere was great, clean, and loved the decor. Definitely would come back!

Visited as a media trip in the area. Wow the spice levels are no joke ! Mild was fine for my kiddo, medium was plenty for me ! Thanks to Tyler, CJ and Pepe for walking us through recommendations. Nice guys ! The crimson sandwich was perfect, love the slaw. The fried onion had a lovely light batter and the fries had a perfect seasoning and came in a large portion. The service was outstanding, the staff was so nice and the atmosphere was clean and I especially loved the clear view of the kitchen which I thought was very unique, especially for a chicken spot. Everything was out in the open and it felt very transparent with how they prepare the food. The huge and I mean huge downside was there were multiple pieces of undone chicken on my box. And it made me so sad. Not only that, there was no seasoning either. I m bummed out because I wanted this to be the new spot, but I sadly cannot go back due to health concerns that presents. Their spicy was not spicy for me, so next time I will have to try their highest level of spice. Their tenders were on the smaller side, but still juicy. I have had crimson coward a few times through a service called Foodsby. Foodsby is effectively uber eats for those unaware. I order the homestyle sandwich, this sandwich is ELEVEN dollars, and does not come with fries or any side. Attached is the picture of what it should look like, and a picture of how miserable the sandwich I received is. This is unacceptable and restaurants should have more consistency with their portion sizes. I have had 2 the size of the one in the picture, but the others were okay, so I did not feel a need to post until now. I dont write this post to dissuade anyone from eating here, as the food tastes amazing. However you should be aware of the portion size of your 12 dollar sandwich before you order.

This little hidden gem is absolutely amazing! If youre a fan of Daves hot chicken than THIS is going to be a new favorite! The staff was Soo hospitable and took the time to welcome my family and help us order right. The food was juicy, flavorful, and just such a great meal. It really is unfortunate that theyre hidden away in the corner of a strip mall and foot traffic is sparse... But if youre lucky enough to find them... You wont regret it! They even have burgers! And the buns they use are delicious! A real welcome departure from normal fast food. I loved it and definitely plan on going back! Vegetarian options: This place is for meat eaters unless you are huge fan of coleslaw and french fries only... Dietary restrictions: If you have gluten allergies this may not be the spot for you just because the only thing that you could probably get is coleslaw and french fries cross-contamination is a real possibility. You could always get a cheeseburger without the bun... but wheres the fun in that? Parking: Theres plenty of parking available it really just depends on how busy the rest of the mall is Kid-friendliness: This place is good for kids meals but theres not a lot to do other than sit and eat... But the food should keep them there and sitting still for a while, it really is that good! Wheelchair accessibility: The area is wheelchair accessible... Parking and ramps are all in place.

Edit to add: The GM called and was very apologetic & offered to handle any of my future business if I were to decide to patronize this establishment again. I am very appreciative of that. Placed an order via door dash and called to confirm details were correct. The first manager that answered was extremely rude and couldnt comprehend basic math. His name was Pepe and Luke was also horrible when I called the following day & tried deflecting & not providing me with names. After a 30 minute phone call & confirmation the correct order would be sent, they STILL sent the wrong order. Which I know they intentionally did because we verified several times prior to hanging up but you could hear one of the managers in the background agruing with the GM that was giving him correct instructions on my order. So unprofessional. He was so angry that I seriously contemplated if I would even eat the food. Not only was the order incorrect, the chicken was undercooked. Theyre several other hot chicken places in the area that I d recommend over this one. Thankfully, Door Dash reimbursed me after sending the photos of my order. Management needs serious training, especially the yt kid that answered last night around 9:30, EXTREMELY RUDE. From customer service to actual food-0/10, would NOT recommend.

WHERE DO I EVEN START!!! RAW CHICKEN!!! Zero zero stars. These guys do not have manners whatsoever. We ordered 4 tenders joey onion rings and the crimson sandwich. The tenders and the chicken onion rings were both RAW!!!! I approached them telling them it s raw they handled it with zero care not even an APOLOGY NOTHING. Few minutes later I reflected and really didn t feel comfortable and told them I needed a refund. It took the cashier 40 mins to process the refund and they didn t even refund us for the whole amount after the waste of time and inconvenience we went through. He even didn t refund us for the fries saying that it was okay and it s our problem we didn t eat it???? Excuse me I m disgusted at the manner and how it was handled. Do they understand the consequences of eating raw chicken!?! I only wish i took pictures but here s a receipt that we are actual customers. Funny experience. My wife had to clean the table, ordered without help, and was disregarded as a first-time customer. The store was busy, but not busy enough for me to feel like just another order. Wow! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and we are so so glad we did! We came at 9:15 and everything from the fries to the chicken was made from scratch and made to order. Chicken battered to order which was amazing to us! Alaska and CJ were so so nice and hospitable. They were some of the sweetest and hardworking guys we ve ever seen! They truly care and enjoy working. They talked to us throughout our dine-in experience and made us feel like family! They guided us through the menu and made suggestions. My boyfriend did not shy away from trying the butt burning rub on the tenders since he s the type to do every super spicy wing challenge at every restaurant, order extra extra extra spicy and not be phased. He finished all 4 tenders but definitely cried and got red faced. He enjoyed the experience and would try it again. I did the mild on the sandwich and it was amazing. We ll for sure be back again! You guys please try them! We devoured our food and didn t have a chance to share pictures :)

Its a modern looking fast casual place with big TVs running loops showing their food. The tenders are a nice size, with a good breading on them. The medium level of spice was perfect for me. The only real downside is the dipping sauce cups are too small, not just how much you get, but you literally cant fit the tender into the cup.

Rip off. Ordered from them on door dash, added a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese container cost about 5 dollars on the side and the size of it was close to a sauce container. It was so small. The Mac and cheese was watery and didnt have any flavor. Overall poor experience with the Mac and cheese. The chicken was fine, nothing special. Wish they were as good as when they first opened.

Loved that the sandwiches are made to order. I dined in and the chicken was super juicy, crunchy and tender. The buns were pillowy soft and buttery. The garlicky sauce, pickles and Cole slaw were a great contrast to the chicken. As for spice heat level, the medium was like Tabasco and hot like Jalapeños. Fries were also excellent. Right of the fryer with a great texture. The service was friendly and is a great value.

The food was hot, fresh, but tasteless. I was so disappointed. Came in as soon as they opened, they were working on a large order, staff just yelled to use the kiosk, the order took 30 minutes and was a waste. The tenders tasted like spicy rubber. Like I was chewing for no reason at all, seasoning the chicken before its cooked instead of after may do the trick

My husband and I went here for the first time before going to a sporting event in Frisco and it was DELICIOUS! I appreciate the no hormone and never frozen because my body is picky on what it accepts. The two young ladies that were in there were welcoming, knew the menu, and kept us informed on when our food would be ready. The flavor was spot on (not too spicy) and the chicken was so juicy. Went and got a burn baby burn crimson, had an excellent experience! Food was good and staff (Alaska and Pepe) were supportive during our entire 1 hour trial despite us ignoring spice warnings. Joey-eat-fries were very good. I recommend everyone attempt the burn baby burn.

This place is a disaster. There s high school aged kids as cooks and they are missing ingredients or parts of the ordered back to back. They served my smash burger like it was made for a homeless man. It was just slapped patty half way off the bun. The meat had zero flavor, bit into ground beef unseasoned basically. The kids cooking the food had tattoos all over their face and necks. Faces covered in pimples and were using this one tag to wipe there hands and counters. Completely unsanitary. This place should be shut down and it won t last long here. The fries were missing in my order. The floor was disgusting and sticky. The owner took my order and he s of some middle eastern descent. He tried to upsell like crazy and I get it, it s his business. But man, you have these kids messing up everything and think it s okay to try to upsell STILL? I did not get the spice level of chicken I ordered either. The chicken itself had ZERO FLAVOR other than massive amount of heat cuz I got the wrong spice. Absolutely disgusting of a place and I do not recommend to anyone. You know it s bad when the business only has two cars in the parking lot too. Like I said. It won t be here long.

*New Restaurant Alert * First of all the Manager was Very knowledgeable and polite! This franchise started in California and fortunately for the DFW Metroplex they are opening franchises here! The chicken sandwich was Awesome (I ordered the one right under the hottest sandwich) and it was spicy and cooked to Perfection . My daughters absolutely Loved the fries, the manager told they also have fries pickles so we will try that next time.
