Food is spectacular and portion sizes are huge. Inviting, relaxing atmosphere with great service. Highly recommend the sirloin alambres and the t-bone ranchera. They can make good drinks too and thats not always a given depending on where you go.

We recently dined at La Carreta for the first time and were thoroughly impressed. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy with multiple college graduation parties, the staff managed everything flawlessly. Our server, Kimberly, provided excellent service even though we were only a party of two. The food and drinks were fantastic, and we are definitely planning on returning.

Never a disappointment! Always fresh, good food and excellent customer service from the manager to the waiters. I have always chosen this location for large gatherings as they have a private room that they do NOT charge for and the quality of food is great along with the pricing. They have an excellent menu for any hour of the day.

First time we visited that place and the last, my dish was delicious chicken flautas, lettuce, tomato and avocado but they were a little greasy, the rice was delicious, and the refried beans were super salty. My husband ordered the chicken fajita plate, which were 2 pieces of breast, super thin, overcooked and dry, the rice was good, the ranchero beans tasteless. The 3 sauces that they brought us had no flavor and the tortilla chips were very greasy. I dont recommend it Parking: Good parking

One of the best Mexican restaurants Ive tried in Laredo. Food was very good, we ordered some parrilladas since we were a big group celebrating a birthday. Service was fast and waiters were very attentive. Drinks were pretty good too, specially the Palomas and Micheladas, we also got a couple of Carajillos but it seems that these were missing a bit more alcohol, however the flavor was good. Vegetarian options: There are just a few vegetarian options such as guacamole, chips and salsa, quesadillas among other items

Very nice steakhouse. I had the La Carreta steak plate for lunch. Rib eye, enchiladas, and rice and beans. Very good. Table side guacamole was great. Service was prompt and friendly. They have a nice separate area as well.

This was the first time we ate here because it was recommended and it did not disappoint. The cactus (nopales) appetizers were simply delicious. The t bone steak had a wonderful asada taste. Miguel our sever was very helpful and courteous as well as the rest of the wait staff. I Plan to return on my next trip to Laredo. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well

2022---- I asked to bring cheese to the cart and it has panela cheese and I spoke to complain and they still start arguing that it is the only cheese the asadero uses. Even on the menu it says panela and whenever I eat there at the restaurant they give me panela cheese. Then still having to go pick it up again without offering an apology or a discount. Dont stain. I will never order takeout there again. For the rest there in the restaurant very good but to take away . I loved the Panchos. The chips are unique. The patio is super nice to spend a good night.

The best service I have experienced in a long time. Service with a smile. Servers came back to check on you. Offered drink refills without being prompted. I had their very delicious quesadilla. The corn tortilla looked and tasted handmade. If you have never had a handmade corn tortilla, you are missing out.

One of the absolute finest restaurants in Laredo. I know whenever I eat here, Im leaving fully satisfied. I had enchiladas potosinas. Food lacked flavor. I had to put lots of salt. Meat was chewy. I had to spit out several pieces. I tasted the charro beans and they were so so. The cebolla asada needed to be cooked more. It was not tender at all. The waiter was good though. Fast service.

Amazing tasting meats! Perfectly cooked, juicy excellent flavor. Nopalitos were so good too. The best thing was the managers attitude.
