This place is by far one of the best bbq places I ve been to and I am a Texas native. Definitely needs more hype! Brisket was super tender perfect flavor. I love how the bbq sauce and pockles are homemade also Don t sleep on the Mushrooms they were awesome! What makes it even better is the service and friendliness 10/10 would recommend!

Saw the pic and review of the smoked brisket burger and knew this was the place for todays lunch...oops. There was half an inch between the edge of the bun and the beginning of the meat, and the cheese wasnt melted. Flavors were great, but I was expecting a lot more in a $19 burger, especially after seeing the online pic.

The bark on the brisket was SO tasty, so I was very surprised that the brisket itself, though tender enough to pull apart pretty easily, was incredibly dry. Perhaps pre sliced or sitting out too long? I did come eat in mid afternoon The sides were also nothing to write home about Overall a pretty average experience, was hoping for a little more wow factor to make the trip from ATX worth it

First off, this isnt a restaurant. It is a food truck that serves food poisoning. The only way it could possibly have a 4.6 review is because the bar behind it sends over drunk people who cannot even tell what they are eating. No that it matters, but they also got both of our orders wrong, dont know the difference between pork and beef ribs (which were cut incorrectly), and gave us food poisoning within minutes. Avoid this place, and go elsewhere unless you enjoy the feeling of being stabbed in stomach while twisting the knife.

The meat on the chopped beef sandwhich was completely shredded with long pieces of shredded meat with a dab of bbq sauce on the side of the sandwhich. Somehow spent $60 for 3 sandwhiches and a side of loaded macaroni that took 15 mins to prepare with no one else waiting. It was awful... I dont recommend this place at all.

Went on a Friday afternoon/evening,had a 3 meat plate with sausage, brisket, and ribs (my go to anytime I try a new place). Green beans and potato salad for sides. The brisket and sausage were good but not great. The ribs were fair, but not good enough to get again. Potato salad was the star, but the green beans were inedibly peppered. All in all the bbq was good enough that I d try again, and definitely better than others in the area. I would buy the potato salad on its own for sure. The time of day may have influenced the quality it s a little late for bbq.

This food truck outside The Good Lot has some of the best BBQ not only in Cedar Park, but in Texas in my opinion. The brisket was thick, moist and flavorful. The ribs were smokey fall off the bone perfect. Some of the best green beans I ve ever had and by far the best potato salad I ve ever had.

We came to try the experience based on the reviews, but the Brisket and sausage were cold and dry. We purchased three individual orders, and they were all served in one tray. The amount of food in the tray was not enough for three people. When asked why were three separate orders placed in one tray, the young guy did not have an answer. We had to argue for an additional tray for the third person. Customer service is horrible and food is not what is marketed. Do not recommend it!

Great food and equally awesome customer service! My son has severe food allergies and they were extremely thorough and thoughtful when I emailed for additional allergen information. We were able to enjoy a safe meal together as a family. We shared brisket, sausage, turkey, dirty rice, potato salad, and mac -- everything was delicious! Thanks again! I ordered a Lazy G burger and the first one I received the bun was cold and the meat was around room temperature. I contemplated bringing it back and didn t want to be difficult but after my boyfriend pointed out that the burger was 17 dollars I decided I wanted a hot burger. They attempted to correct and gave me a toasted bun and warmer patty. The fact that they are charging this price for a room temperature burger and bun/toppings is insane to me. Even after I took it back it was really no better. Disappointed. I love supporting local businesses but the price for what I received did not add up.

My wife & I were in the area today & decided to try some place new. I got a 2 plate brisket & wife 1 plate pulled pork. 1st thing I noticed was the seasoning & smoke line. The brisket was fall apart delicious. My wife said the pork was very good also. The sides were also very good! The only downside was the prices. 2 meat plate was $21.95. Im very loyal to a BBQ joint in Bertram which has great BBQ & prices. I pay $17.95 for a 3 meat plate. Will I be back if Im in the area once again, sure!

Hands down the best bbq in Cedar Park/Leander! We gave in a try on Saturday and it was so good we went back on Monday. Tried almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious. The moist brisket was incredible and Id buy the pickles by the gallon if I could! The smoked mushrooms are such a cool idea and so tasty. The seasoning on everything was spot-on. Highly recommend!

Second time visiting here. There is no good reason to have to wait 50 minutes for bbq (no exaggeration). To make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered the order was wrong! Forget taking it back, not waiting another 50 minutes. Bbq was just ok, a bit dry, and COLD. I see potential in the food here but yall definitely need to work on being more efficient and consistent.

We needed an amazing BBQ in Leander and now we have it! We ve tried almost everything on the menu but have had the brisket and peach sauce ribs several times, and they re always great. The Turkey is perfect, moist and flavorful. The pork belly is so good, so good in fact we ordered another portion to take home and share. The burger is definitely something you must try, it s probably not like any burger you ve had before, it s a smoked brisket patty complete with bark. Ask for an egg on top, you won t regret it. They always have a delicious and imaginative new dessert on the menu too, if you have any room left. The guys are super friendly and attentive, and always get you a good meal going! Atmosphere was really nice. Different from your usual restaurant setting. Garage type sheeting with multiple misting fans as well as garden-picnic style seating with multiple misting fans. The cook was really friendly and nice. The Brisket, sausage, and ribs were delicious. BBQ sauce was tasty as well. Mushroom lovers you will enjoy the smoked mushrooms w/bacon bathing in a BBQ vinaigrette sauce. The Mac n cheese was not a choice for me nor was the dirty rice. I m from New Orleans and dirty rice is cooked totally different so you can t base that side off of my taste buds. Overall, I would go back again.

The five stars are first and foremost the communication by the staff. I sent a note in the morning about the specials and within an hour or so, they responded. Great customer service. I just ate here an hour ago and it was amazing! Got the brisket, ribs, with Cajun rice, mushrooms, and Mac and cheese. Meat was tender, moist, with plenty of flavor! Best ribs Ive ever had. Heres the deal, were all surrounded by BBQ here (deep in the heart of Texas), yet most of it, as spectacular as it may be, has numbed my taste buds and all I can think is whether I want the Coke or the Pepsi version. Well, why not try something different, better, more local even, like this place, the Dr. Pepper of the BBQ scene round these parts. Their meats are not bound by traditional seasonings, they add sweetness, bold flavors, and have sides that knocked my socks off. You should most certainly try their brisket and ribs. Just spectacular. As for the sides, go with the trashy Mac and cheese, oh, and the smoked burger is next level stuff on a bun. Trust lazy Gs smoke. I did. Youll be happy. My husband and I are such bbq junkies. We have had bbq all over Texas. So I googled bbq near me because I was really wanting bbq but didn t feel like driving to far out and Lazy G popped up. I did my research on them and decided to give them a try. WoW!! So glad we did from the meat to the sausage and sides everything was so so delicious.they even have homemade pickles that were out of this world! What a hidden gem! Was down in Texas for the GP and as highly recommended as the food here was, I was still floored by how great it turned out to be. The guys are super friendly. We tried their ribs which were very good, and the smoked Burger which was awesome. The burger appears to use homemade pickles which were super tasty and a great complement to the burger. Loved the smoked mushrooms too. Ive lived in the Austin area for 5 years and Ive tried most of the BBQ spots that youve likely heard of but every so often, Ive tried a few that some havent heard about and the results have been mixed.... ...with Lazy G, I came away wishing I found out about them sooner. Or at least tried them sooner. I heard of them a few months ago but I never thought of giving them a try until they posted up at a nearby food truck park of course. They far exceeded my expectations. They had me at their July Special - the PBLT and for good measure, I tried a 1 meat plate to try their brisket. They hit it out of the park. The smoked pork belly is unlike anything Ive tried before and it was absolutely delicious. The brisket? Lets just say it has moved up into my top 5 list of best brisket Ive ever tasted since Ive been in Texas AND that includes BBQ Ive tried outside of the Austin area. Because of the high rating I stopped in for a $30 pound of brisket. I requested the moist brisket. When I got home and unwrapped it I found I had purchased $20 of lean brisket and $10 of mostly inedible brisket blubber. The moral...check your order before you depart. I was disappointed. They seem to have the cooking part mastered, but the attention to detail seems lacking.

Not your typical BBQ! Yes, they have brisket (which by the way is soft enough to cut with a plastic fork), but they also have BBQ pork belly and BBQ burger. My husband loved his smoked burger with jalapenos, but I have to say the pork belly was hands down our favorite. It was so tender and flavorful. I m definitely going back for more of that!
