Above and beyond service. I asked to have one thing changed due to a dietary restriction, and they made sure they entire rest of my dinner matched without me even needing to ask. Incredible! And all the food Ive ever eaten here has been amazing. Definitely my favorite sushi place around Kyle!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant ( the Kyle, Tx location) for the first time and we absolutely loved it! Very friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, good service. I had the Happy Family meal, beef, chicken, and vegetables. My husband had the cashew chicken. It all came with fried rice and egg rolls. We also had cucumber sushi rolls, and avocado sushi rolls, both were very delicious. My appetizer was the eggdrop soup which was the best Ive ever had! And, I was also able to order a vodka lemondrop martini, and that was the best. All in all we were very impressed with the restaurant and the quality of food. We will definitely go back in the future. Vegetarian options: I did not actually look at the vegetarian options on the menu, but I feel there are options of that kind.

My partner and I were super excited to try this place out. Were not from Kyle, so we were excited to explore the restaurants around our hotel. We saw the reviews for this restaurant and figured to try it out. I liked when we walked in and got greeted by the female in front. We were looking forward to dining in but unfortunately we decided to take out. Only because the table infront of us had a kid who was coughing up a storm. It really grossed us out. When we got to our hotel room we noticed we didnt have utensils :( but luckily we had some spare spoons in our car. The food was delicious! We ate up all the food. Absolutely will love to come back and try yall again. Hopefully we can dine in without the fear of spread germs from a sick person.

I m a very picky eater and struggle to eat out of my comfort zone. That being said I have never liked anyone s egg rolls. But after trying this place I sometimes crave them. A side from that their chicken and rice is always fresh and delicious every time I order. And one of my favorite desserts to have there are their Chinese Donuts. New to Kyle so we thought we d try a new Chinese place. Ordered takeout- pork lo mein, garlic chicken, crab Rangoon, and general tso s. Order came earlier than expected. The lo mein and garlic chicken were cold. Instead of fried rice we received brown rice. Overall the food was just not good. We have yet to find a good Chinese restaurant in Texas over the past year. I forgot to take pics of the food in the containers but am attaching one of my plate. Note that everything is so brown . That s not normal.

Below average quality of food with above average service . The service is what made it to 3 stars. The best part of the food experience, was egg roll, appeared to be home made and freshly fried. Good protein portion, little small on the ricr portion. Ordered California roll - is was OK, reminded me of the sushi you get from the grocery store. Nothing redeemable. Ordered Orange Chicken w/fried rice - Nothing in this dish had any flavor of orange other than the few bitter orange peels tossed in. But none of the orange flavor was throughout the dish. The fried rice wasnt fried, it was steamed rice with a soy sauce tossed in, no egg, pea/carrots, no seasoning..the chicken portion of the dish was nicely fried texture, and was served HOT. I got more orange flavor from Panda Express than this dish. These items with a soft drink and tip came to about $32.

Ive never written a bad review for a Chinese restaurant before, but the takeout I just brought home is nearly inedible. Even the smell of the food seemed off The Gen Tso chicken had so much gristle in it that multiple pieces were thrown away.. Tasted horrible, too. The combination noodles tasted bad and the meats were nearly non existent. The noodles themselves were so overcooked it was gross. Im not expecting al dente, but these were mush. Maybe because my gf picked the food up during non-peak hours at about 4 p m. Is it possible they gave me leftover food from lunch service? It tasted like it could even be from yesterday. If I get sick, Ill make sure to update this review. First and last time Ill very ever eat at this place and Id suggest you reconsider other options. ***EDIT*** In response to your reply, Id like to say NO THANK YOU to your request of contacting you to rectify the situation. What are you going to do, give me more food I wont like? Ill just eat the $45 loss and move on. Even a $45 loss is still better than your food.

We have been looking for good Chinese food since we moved to Texas. We were in Kyle for something else, so we thought we would give Koy a try. It was my spouse, myself, my son, and his spouse, along with their 2 children under 2. We ordered General Tsos, moo goo gai pan, cury chicken, chicken fried rice, and cream cheese rangoon. Moo goo gai pan-sauce was very good. Had lots of vegetables and chicken was very tender. Cury chicken - really good and had great flavor and lots of veggies. Chicken fried rice - was ok. Not the best Ive ever had but had a weird taste to it. Cremcheese Rangoon - was plain and flavorless. Without the duck sauce, it wasnt worth eating. General Tsos - the best we have had since moving to Texas. Crispy outside with very tender chicken on the inside. The sauce had a nice kick. So, now to the reason we wont be back. As I mentioned before, we had four adults and 2 babies under two. When we got our bill, we were both charged a large party fee. When we went to pay, I asked why, and the response was..you had 6 people. Seriously! We had two children that ate nothing and needing nothing from you. They did take the fee off once I questioned him. We are generally big tippers. Today, we werent.

We ordered takeout. Ordered the lunch special of Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken as well as 2 sushi rolls. Food tastes like it was frozen and re heated and sushi tastes stale. Its all edible and will fill your stomach but dont look for much else. There is little to no competition in kyle for Asian food so any place that will stand on their quality and not sell customers reheated food would do really well here. Service was great. No complaints.

I visited this restaurant on May 16th...around 11:20am, shortly after this restaurant opened. I was seated immediately and was approached by the waitress within minutes. My order was taken and my beverage was delivered. After waiting about 10 minutes, I received my order of Lemon Chicken...which, for those who dont know, are deep fried pieces of white meat chicken (similar to chicken nuggets) served with a dipping sauce and refried rice. Being a repeat customer of this restaurant, I knew exactly what I was ordering and how it should taste. However, on this particular visit, the chicken pieces tasted doughy, the lemon sauce was cool (and was orange sauce, NOT lemon sauce) and the refried rice appeared to be just plain brown rice...and slightly warm, at best. The egg roll was very tasty and warm. Because my waitress was so very nice and attentive, I did not complain to her about the food...why start her day off with a complaining customer. However, I will seriously rethink my choice of restaurants, when dining out for Chinese food.

Just moved to the area and was looking for good Chinese food, but this is not it. I went to the restaurant to pickup my previously made order at 6:10 and left at 6:30. I paid my order online and was told to sign the receipt there. That s a way to force a tip for a pickup order. For some reason Kyle has almost no Chinese food places, and after passing this one almost every day, I finally decided to place an order. I honestly wish I didnt. Been a customer for a while now. I always pick up an online order. Food has always been really good. Customer service is on point. Hello, my fiancé and I had dinner there last night 3/5/204 and our sushi was taking a very long time. However our waitress was very kind, apologetic and attentive & reassured us constantly that our food was being made. She sent us 2 egg rolls on the house and as well as a cup of ice cream for our understanding and patience. It was our first time and it was leaving us a bad impression however due to this waitresses constant attention, sympathy we will be back again. BTW the food was delicious!!! I went to this place 1 year ago for the first time. It was delicious, decided to go the second time and it wasnt so good anymore. Decided to give them another shot and not coming back again. We stopped here for dinner and overall were glad we did. The food and service was very good, the atmosphere not so much, but certainly not a problem. The place was clean, but there is nothing of note for atmosphere (no TVs, no music, no interesting art). I would certainly return though if I lived near here. The Kung Pao chicken was delicious and the egg rolls good (I dont remember the name of my wifes dish).

We have been either eating at Koy or ordering delivery roughly once a week pretty much since it opened and every time, we are not disappointed. Egg rolls, fried rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Happy Family, Triple Delight, you name it, its delicious. To top it off, the staff is phenomenal and customer service oriented and when mistakes are made, they make it right. Hands down this is the best Chinese restaurant weve ever eaten at and Kyle is very lucky to have such a gem.

I am just amazed at the service here! My husband and I went here for sushi about a year ago and thought it was great; but on our most recent visit our server Chu remembered us and brought us our favorite rolls from our last visit. This kind of service is not common anymore and we were absolutely blown away. The sushi is fantastic as well!

Oh man. Our server was super sweet! And the Wasabi was great! The ambiance was so misleading and completely raised our expectations because it was so nice. My sushi was cold, but the shrimp on it was rubbery. The hot and sour soup we ordered as an app was brought out after the meal. And the meals were brought out one plate at a time and about 5 minutes apart. So my husband was sitting there with his meal while the rest of us were... not. The Kung pow chicken and shrimp was really flat with this weird kinda gritty chicken. The serving of rice with it was suuuuper small. The egg Rolls were really super crispy (over fried) which led to no flavor. The kids chicken nuggets were hard, breaded circles but my boys smothered them in sweet and sour and ate them anyway... Like I said, they were nice enough but thats about all this place has going for it, unfortunately.

First time trying Koy tonight. We ordered takeout and chatted with Wayne at the bar while we waited for our food. He gave us the history of the clean and bright family-owned restaurant while we sipped on delicious drinks. My husband ordered the pork fried rice and Mongolian beef and I had the general tso s chicken. Husband said the Mongolian beef was spicy and the pork fried rice was flavorful. I loved the general tso s chicken. It was nice and crunchy! Highly recommended Koy!

The service was awesome here. The employees were nice and responsive. The egg rolls were some of the best I tasted. The red sweet sauce at the table wasn t sweet. The sushi was great, the chicken lo mein was good too. The place was clean and nice but looks like they get way more take out orders so some of the seats were filled with supplies. We ordered takeout from this place recently. The beef and vegetable dish and the shrimp soup were very good but I was disappointed with the sushi we got. It lacked a lot of flavor. I love sushi but I just couldnt eat it because it was so bland tasting. Maybe they used plain steamed rice instead of using seasoned sushi rice? The staff was very accommodating because we placed an order at 8:30 (they close at 9) and they were able to get it ready fast. I would probably come back for Chinese dishes but not for sushi.

Yellow fin tuna Hamachi sashimi was simply awful - cut more like a tuna steak, certainly not sashimi grade fish - not thawed sufficiently, nor trimmed correctly - as in there was still blood in sections. General Tso chicken was primarily breading - and had little flavor, other than sweet syrup; Panda Express would have been a far better value. Fried rice was literally only stir fried plain rice with maybe some soy sauce - hardly fried rice in terms of egg, vegetable, etc. The service was fine - but the price vs quality was simply too high for what you get.

I used to come here often for dine in. A few times it was awkward ~ as though they weren t expecting a dine in guest. I would try the sushi rolls and they have odd side dishes like cheese curds and fries lol Their desserts were always good. Green tea ice cream and I wanna say mochi. They were always polite, but there were times when I d have to wait to flag someone down for refills ~ I ve only been here once when it was busy, so there wasn t always someone in the dining area. I had takeout once. It was a bit awkward waiting for the order ~ I wanted to get it as fresh as possible so I arrived about 5 min before thinking it would be okay, but the entrance was so small that other people coming in ended up being confused by my presence and started talking about the service right away. I felt uncomfortable as they thought I worked there and was ignoring them (they weren t saying kind things). As this was happening another to-go order came in so it was five people just standing next to the door lol This was 2016-2019 timeframe
