Clean park with easy access to fishing banks. The sounds of planes and highway traffic are in the air but seem to flow in unison with the wildlife and environment. Cool little spot to enjoy nature tucked inside a heavily populated area of Houston.

In the embrace of solitude, I find myself drawn to this serene haven, captivated by the dance of light on the waters surface. The gentle lapping of the waves against the shore whispers a soothing melody, cleansing my soul of all worries and burdens. Here, surrounded by natures beauty, I am immersed in a world of peace and reflection, where the vast expanse of the water mirrors the depth of my thoughts and feelings. In this moment, I am one with the stillness, finding solace in the quiet symphony of natures embrace. I hope this piece resonates with the emotions and feelings you experience in such serene environments. Feel free to let me know if you would like any modifications or if you have a specific direction in mind for the writing.

This place gets 5 stars because of their park programs for kids alone! Other than that, this is a wonderful place to spend time alone or with the family. Natural land, lots of walking trails and wildlife. Toilets: There are public restrooms Dog-friendliness: This is a great place to walk the dog! Picnic area: There are plenty of picnic areas but a lot of bugs so maybe not the place for a full spread.

My favorite park in Tomball. Turtles, manyyyy different birds, snakes, lizards, well-kept and maintained preserve. We usually walk around twice, and in the heat, it s perfect for a good cardio session. Keep your eye out for snakes! They re not prevalent, but they are present. Best to go in morning or afternoon, unless you want the extra heat :)

Update as of 04/25/24... Still a great place to walk but I have a message for pet owners - PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET!! STOP LEAVING THEIR POOP ALL OVER THE TRAIL AND ON THE SIDES OF THE TRAIL. There are signs posted and bags provided. I can imagine what you keep your home like if you can be so careless and nonchalant in a public space. What you dont want for yourself, dont do to others......A great place to walk and relax afterwards. Even though next to a busy highway, areas can be quiet. Lots of flora and fauna. Loop around Lake is 1.7 miles long and there is ample parking and restrooms are available.. you can fish as well (catch and release)

Went to the preserve for an evening stroll. The preserve is located surrounding the 29 acre Marshall Lake. The 80 acre preserve offers paved trails, canoe launch, fishing piers, camping, picnic area and restrooms. The preserve was very clean and organized perfectly. Loved the free library. Saw different types of birds fishing and flying around the whole park.

I absolutely love this nature preserve! The grounds are kept clean and the abundance of wild birds is fantastic. Its great to take a stroll on a sunny day or even a cloudy day. I love to spend my time here walking or reading a book or even napping if I get the chance to! I just wish people picked up after themselves, but that has nothing to do with the park itself. Overall, I generally feel very safe here (its apparent if I like to take naps on the park bench lol)
