Enjoyed getting to check out this park and its long boardwalk with my dog! The parking lot is only for authorized Kingwood residents who have K stickers on their cars so I did see some tow trucks looking around for their next pickup. However, I parked on the edge of the road on Woodland Hills where there were no No Parking signs before getting to the parking lot. Its a small area but it worked out fine and I did not get towed. Looking forward to returning!

this is not a public park They tried to tow us because we didnt have the required sticker on our car. Its impossible to buy a sticker, its only given to residents of this place. We drove here for 45 minutes and were very upset that the place was not welcoming.

The kids and I enjoy walking around, watching boats being out in, especially the trailer backing can be interesting. Always some wildlife to observe. Playground: Its alright. Nothing to write home about with all the newer fancy areas around but serves the purpose of getting outside Toilets: I mean they are what they are Dog-friendliness: Sure. Water and stuff to sniff, not a dog but I bet it would be enjoyable if I were Picnic area: Tables and covered areas

We simply love it, beautiful calmed little park with plenty playground features , picnic with grills areas, outdoor fitness features, a pretty nice pier, golf disc course, clean restrooms. Playground: Awesome, even haves a excavator feature that my toddlers absolutely love. Toilets: Clean Dog-friendliness: I don t think i have seen any water fountains yet so i wouldn t know if they are dog friendly in that sense. Picnic area: Various individual covered picnic tables with a grill to each, close by trashcans, restrooms right across the parking area over by the playground and fitness features, spaced enough to still have individual family picnics and or birthdays.

Have visited the park many times over the years but this was my first time playing the frisbe golf course. The holes are well marked and the paths easy to follow. My dogs had a blast. It took about 2 hours for 2 adults and 1 child to complete the course. Highly recommend you trying it out if you never have.

It boasts a boatramp, fishing deck, walking trail, frizebe golf and a playground amenity with swings and sandboxes for young children. Please be aware that displaying a K sticker on your vehicle is obligatory for parking; failure to comply may lead to your vehicle being towed, at your expence. Toilets: Not shure. It is a quiet place if you go during the week and in the morning, apparently it is only for boats, motorcycles, I did not see anyone swimming. They have a small park for children, there is a space for exercise equipment, the bathrooms are acceptable, they have a space to walk along the river bank, very pleasant, they have tables so you can eat there.

I can t fully review this park because we weren t actually able to put our kayaks in because we aren t Kingwood residents. We weren t aware that it s a private park, so FYI, you need to have a numbered K sticker on your vehicle and boat trailer to park here. HOWEVER, from what I could see from the parking lot, the park looks very clean and beautiful.

Nice park. It now connects with the greenbelt bayou system to the west, which is great. Theyve taken the flooded out old apartments and replaced them with home and bike trails, although stretches of the trail are streets. Its still very nice. Toilets: They have restrooms on the location

Love the disc golf course! Well maintained, really hard to lose a disc except on 18, ( If you go for the hero shot over the water ) but a good shot to the right, and you can still make birdie. The first 4 tees are wide open, so you can go full send on those, the rest are technical, but not ridiculously so. Snakes every where during the warm months, but the wife and I don t mind. No public bathrooms or water fountains, so you ll have to forge the way our forefathers did. Pro tip: don t park in the front row, an errant tee shot off Tee # 1, could get your car.

Great park to go to if you want to walk around and just chill near the water. If you have a boat, theres definitely a boat ramp. Very easy to get into the water. Right across the water. Theres an entire park full of soccer fields so if you want to play and you have a group of friends or anything like that, this is a perfect place. The fishing at the park is very subpar. Really hard to catch fish and you really have to be determined to catch fish. But if youre boating and lake Houston, its a really good lake to fish on overall. Just get away from the park once you are on the boat. Honestly, the soccer fields and the playgrounds for the kids is what makes us a 5 out of 5 stars for me.

Too many fireant mounds to dodge and soccer season makes it nearly unusable. The play structures are okay for kids but not many options.
