Atmosphere was great! Its a beautiful location with good, live music. The service was great. However, the food isnt heavily flavorful or seasoned well. The prices are quite steep for what you get as far as serving size and quality of food. Drinks are very overpriced for what you get.

We go here often. It is our designated Mexican Restaurant in Kingwood. The salsa is a little spicy and just right. The food quality is better than most in the area. Parking is ample with street parking out the front or a lot around back.

Cannot believe I waited so long to try Chachis. I had never heard of them nor ate there yet I can assure you from my experience there, if you truly enjoy fresh, flavorful Mexican food of whatever you choose off their menu, that you will not be disappointed. I have now eaten here 4 times with the first time, the food being delivered to my home. I can actually say as much as I love Pappasitos and Pappadeaux foods, that I would take Chachis over them hands down. If you knew me, that would carry more weight than these mere words can say. I have tried 3 different entrees here along with a few different appetizers and nothing disappoints. The food comes out hot, fresh, cooked just right and I have no complaints with their food nor their service. It was great all times I visited.

Drove down to Houston from DFW to visit some friends for the 4th and they said they knew a great place for dinner. This was very good food and a good price. My friends got the Strawberry Margarita and House margarita they both can happily say they were very good and were feeling extra happy after the meal.

Chachi s is THE BEST!!!!! We ordered food online to be delivered and the door dasher massively messed it up, but Chachi s went above and beyond to get our order prepared and still delivered on time and with a smile. The service was great. The people were great. The drinks are great. Location is also great (for my family, at least) . But lets talk about the food. I dare anyone to buy similar plates from Chachis Mexican Restaurant and Taco Cabana. If you plate them in similar plates and serve them, the taste and quality are almost identical. The exception is the tortillas and the beans (the edge going to Chachis). The food is seriously lacking for a Mexican restaurant of this reputation. We were then told by the bar staff AND the waitstaff that Chachis Next Door serves more of an authentic menu using more traditional recipes and that Chachis Mexican Restaurant caters more to the .. uhm, Ill use their words, white peoples taste. Kinda disappointing because it is so close to home and we had heard some good things about it. But looking back at what I heard, its always about the service and the atmosphere. Never about the food. My wife and I will try Chachis Next Door. Over the weekend and compare. To be honest, Ill probably never return to Chachis Mexican Restaurant. Not when Taco Cabana serves the exact same food at a fraction of the cost. The taste is the same. Oh, and if you order the Three Amigos. . . The tamale is more maza than anything.

We eat here probably 1-3 times per month. We park our bikes and just chill w happy hour and enjoy park vibe. Always have great attentive servers, working our way through the menu anything with quail is awesome! Same folks for the last 4 years we have been coming here, same happy faces and always drink/eat/ enjoy more than we planned. Of note: we have never sat inside I m hard of hearing so too loud- the patio is worth the wait if you do have to wait. As we typically get there 3-5 p.m. seldom a wait. On event days at the park maybe wait a lil longer, but again: chill out, don t rush and enjoy the meal and fellowship. Fair prices and really good food.

HUGE SCAM! For years we have ordered food here and it has never been great and rarely been correct but it is close and kinda better than the other Mexican food around here so we put up with it. When COVID hit they started adding on a bunch of fees but I understood, it was hard times. It is now no longer a global pandemic and they have started adding on hidden fees to to-go orders that don t show up on your final bill when you order online and then you are forced to pay more when you get there. They say it s 5% but then tell me why I m paying $5+ extra dollars on my less than $50 bill. Also make sure you bring exact change! They refuse to give change and not just coins, they won t give dollars back either. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but every time we go they add on extra fees that are constantly changing and never on the original bill and when I have to bring out more money to cover those fees, they refuse to give me my change. Over the years they ve stolen way too much money from my family through withholding our change and these random fees they add on the spot that don t add up to the percentages they claim they are. We re done but I m leaving this review to warn other families that this business will take and take and then give you the wrong food and yell at you when you try to bring it back. They are mean and have terrible customer service, same goes for the hostess at their Next Door location. They verbally abuse their customers with no care because they know they are going to make back any lost tips in random hidden fees and by taking customers change. Spare yourself and your wallet and drive a little further to a place that will serve you what you ordered and give it to you for the price you expect to pay. Parking: Unless you go here when all the businesses are closed, you won t find a spot. Wheelchair accessibility: If you are disabled like I am, don t even bother. There is no parking, their sidewalk is steep and not maintained, and their restaurant is so cramped that is it hard to get around for able bodied people. If you have a mobility aid they will try to make you sit outside in the heat because they have arranged the inside to be so cramped that their waiters have a hard time getting around, let alone people with mobility aids.

We have given them enough chances but the Togo staff refuse to give change and add a fee to a Togo order for a tip as mandatory. What your total is on line isnt what they will charge you when you get there. We will not be back and will go to the new Mexican resturant near the lake from now on. Beware of the staff trying to rip you off at chachis their management is allowing their business to go down as we have complained multiple times but it still continues.

We ate at this restaurant while we were in Houston. To start, the hostess was great she greeted and welcomed us in and had us seated In no time, I had got the steak quesadilla and a side of queso , they make the tortillas in house which is really good they are very good. The queso is very creamy and flavorful it s perfect for dipping your warm tortilla chips in that they give you when you sit down and they are nice and warm and crunchy! They do have vegetarian options as my partner got the cheese enchilada and she said it was absolutely amazing, the kids got chicken fingers and fries and loved them of course , and someone at the table also ordered the chicken sizzling fajitas and put the queso sauce on it and said it was perfect. The only thing that I have that s on the negative side is that the staff is really slow, the waiter took a really long time to take our order and then once he brought the food he didn t even come back to check on us and then took forever to bring us our checks. Another lady working came around and gave us refills on our drinks. I still recommend coming to this place if you like authentic Mexican food because the homemade tortillas and stuff make the place worth it , no complaints about the food it was delicious!!

We used to love going here but I think the quality and integrity of the business has declined.They illegally placed an automatic 20% gratuity on my mom when she went to lunch by herself. An added gratuity must be disclosed and it was not mentioned anywhere in the menu nor were there any signs. Mind you we ve been eating here for years. She always tips well regardless but she asked why it was already included without telling her and they said that s just how we do things now . Besides that if you eat on the patio you will be forgotten. I wonder if the poor service is the reason why they will try and sneak a tip on your bill.

Called in to order to-go, when we got home we noticed the bill was wrong. The receipt did not have a list of charges, just a total amount. Called in to confirm pricing and were hung up on. Called back and asked to speak with a manager and he gave pricing and we let him know that our bill was not correct. He proceeded to hang up on us again. Called back one last time and were yelled at and immediately hung up on. Portion was small, fajita burrito had no meat. We were charged for large margaritas and served in a small child-size cup. We even left a generous tip. Will never go back to support this local restaurant.

We will never return to Chachis again for any meal!!! Eduardo you need to learn when a customer says NO, it means NO! You were in full upsell mode when you took our order and I get it, however you overcharged us for the margaritas and two enchiladas, ala carte, and then had the audacity to argue with us and claim we ordered the large margi s and the enchilada plate. You clearly knew what you were doing. We told you NO on the large glass of Skinny Margarita and we were explicit when we asked if we could order a plate with two enchiladas only, no rice or beans. Any patron should never have to get the Manager on Duty involved in a receipt dispute unless it escalates further. You understood our English very well, so don t play that card. Shame on you doing this in front of my granddaughter and daughter. We actually first ate at this restaurant in Las Cruces, NM. The food was excellent. I was a little disappointed that the menu in was slightly different. But not totally. The food we had was just as good as in New Mexico. My Fried Shrimp & Jalapeño Strips were perfect. So was my Crab and Avocado Salad. Will definitely be back. Parking: The restaurant is somewhat oddly located & very little off street parking. We drove around on circles until we finally gave up and parked on the street.

We thought we d try this place. Our waiter had an attitude and didn t want to be there. Only acted somewhat nice when brought the check. My wife s burrito was tough and the tortilla had a pasty look and taste. My cheese enchiladas were terrible. The cheese was actually tough and hard to eat. The $9 margarita was actually only about a cup worth of the cocktail. The ice and the illusion of the cup made for a small drink. We were very dissatisfied for our first time there.

Enjoyed lunch today with a friend! Prefer sitting outside in the shade, but its July... Ordered a lunch menu sized salad with beef fajita meat -- something light and fresh. Wow, this bowl was BIG! Couldnt even finish it. Great value!

As a very nit picky reviewer, this place was surprisingly full of flavor. Everything was well seasoned except for the charro beans, but they were still okay. I was very happy that their mex rice was actually fresh made and NOT parboiled, just classic homemade Mexican rice. Their beef and chicken fajitas are both tender and well seasoned. Not sure what the chicken was topped with but it was okay. They chile con queso was fantastic. Their flour tortillas were very dry and not pleasant whatsoever. The sweet tea was missing something but deff well sweetened. Def recommend the refried beans over the charro beans (theyre a little sweet?). I can definitely see this place be a franchise easily. The decor is none existent but the music is on point. If this place tastes this good, I cant wait for next door.

FANTASTIC Food, best steak fajitas! Place is pretty expensive but its a good treat. Great atmosphere. Always crowded but cant be mad at them for that. The outdoor seating is really nice. Really friendly staff.

I used to live in Las Cruces NM, I love this place, the Chairs, Tables the staff and the art, I spent my younger childhood eating very good Mexican food at here, La Posta and Andelas/Dog House, highly recommend all

Was my first time visiting. I love the atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The good was amazing. I will definitely visit again. Oh, I had a margarita and it was good, too. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.

The service is very disappointing. I give this place a chance time after time because the food is great but I am always being rushed to leave. The servers pull plates away when i m not done, they start wiping the table while I clearly am not ready to leave. They hand me the bill when im not ready to leave. I m just trying to enjoy my time and I always feel rushed.
