If youre into finding historical graves, it was pretty cool. Its rather unassuming, and you could walk right by it. It is in the front left corner of the cemetary as you enter from the front. The neighborhood is a little rough, but I personally didnt have any issues.

An older cemetery that is a lawn style, I was here to visit the final resting place of famous outlaw Clyde Barrow. An hour earlier, I was over at Crown Hill Memorial Park for Bonnie Parker. Clyde Barrows grave is towards the front of the cemetery, about in the middle. Youll find parking on either of the side streets next to the cemetery.

When me and my cousin visited a few years ago, the cemetery was in terrible shape. There is a small entrance near the front of the gate that you can squeeze through. The first thing I noticed on the ground was a pen, so there must have been a geocache around there somewhere. Or, someone just lost a pen. We found Clydes headstone laying on the ground surrounded by little trinkets, and fake flowers.

Yes....this is a piece of stone that represents a murderer, but its a piece of US history and for that, the 5 stars. Bonnies family did not want them buried together, so Clyde rests here...the equivalent of a basement apartment while his partner rests in a penthouse suite.

Clyde Barrows grave, impressive!! I listened to their stories from my parents when I was little, in fact there was a song that I still remember part of the lyrics to. I never imagined that I would be at the foot of his grave. How angry that Bonnie Parker, his great partner, is buried in another cemetery further away and also with hours until 5:00 p.m. You can go to this cemetery any time you want. He shares a grave with his older brother. To locate the tomb: as soon as you enter through the main door, turn left and look at the back. His whole family is together.

Just a quick stop to visit the grave. Just follow the little path straight to his grave. Plus his had a good bit of flowers. Like others said, not in a nice part of town and hard to know where to park. I parked in the abandoned building lot next to it. The entry way is to the right of the main locked gate. You can walk right in. Definitely an old cemetery with tall grass and unkempt graves.

Cool to stop by if you re in the area but don t make a trip just for the grave. The graveyard itself is also very poorly maintained which was a real shame. We parked in the parking lot of the motel next to the graveyard but we weren t there long, I wouldn t recommend being there longer than half an hour. The grave itself is pretty simple and not overly decorative but still cool to say that you ve seen it.

I read so many bad reviews of this cemetery, but we really wanted to go, so we did! It was great! We didnt feel that the neighborhood was scary at all, cute little homes. Not that there couldnt ever be a homeless person or someone sketchy, but we didnt see anyone. The cemetery is very small, we parked in the parking lot of the business next door, walked to the front gate, it was unlocked, but closed, so we opened it and went inside. When you get inside to the grave hang a left, and youll see a brick path leading you straight to Clyde Barrows grave he shares with his brother and cohort Buck. There were a few bullets on his headstone and a pack of cigarettes. We looked around at the other graves there as well, and there were grape hyacinth everywhere. Very pretty. Totally worth going, dont let the bad reviews scare you off!
